“I’ll be home soon baby, I love you!!” You couldn’t help but read the message over and over again. It seemed like ages ago when he had send it, even though it was only yesterday. The times he was gone were so hard for you, because it seemed as if every time you missed him more and more. You hated it if he was on tour, because he would stay away for god knows how long, and he didn’t have that much time to contact you during those days. You walked into the kitchen and watched the calendar that was hanging against the wall. The red circle was coming closer and closer each day, the day he would finally return home to you, but still it seemed so far away. Days seemed to pass so slowly when he wasn’t with you, and there was no one around who could possibly replace him. 

If he wasn’t here you missed his supporting words and the spontaneous hugs he would give you sometimes. You missed how he used to peck your nose if he wanted to show you some kind of infection without getting too close to you and sitting against his side with his arm around you while you were on the couch together. You missed his cute laughter and his amazing smiles and the jokes he would make if you’d stare at him for too long. He was an idol and he was gone all the time, but still you couldn’t get used to it. If you did have the chance to call him or face time with him, you wouldn’t tell him how much it teared you to be apart from him, because you didn’t want to make things even harder for him. You knew that it would break him to see how badly you wanted to be with him, while he was on the other side of the world and there was nothing he could do about it, so you kept it quiet and just counted the days until he’d get back home.   

For the third time that day you opened the fridge and frowned, wondering why the hell you were opening it in the first place because you had had no intention to do so. Your mind was with Baekhyun, and it was as if the rest of your thoughts were clouded into a dark dust in your brain.  You shook your head before closing the fridge again and making your way over towards the couch, hoping that the TV could be able to distract you from your longing heart. It had been a very long time since you had experienced such loneliness, and you realized that this apartment was too big for you by yourself. When Baekhyun was here, the space would be filled up and sometimes it would even seem too small, but now your love wasn’t here to fill up the blank spaces. You pulled a blanked over your legs before reaching for the controller and starting up the TV. Maybe you’d run into him, while singing during a concert or playing on a variety show, right now you just wanted to see his handsome face. 

But it seemed like even the channels were too busy to show you your boyfriend, because you could only find other boy and girl groups on there today. You sighed deeply as you dropped yourself into the pillows and tried to figure out what to do. Until now you had been quite fine without him, and you had always found something to keep yourself busy with, to distract yourself from missing him, but something seemed different today. Without realizing it you grabbed your phone and Looked up at your unlock screen, which made you smile. It was a picture that had been taken on one of your first dates, which immediately showed that the two of you and created a special band at a very short amount of time. You were sitting on his bag and he had his arms tightly wrapped around your thighs to hold you up and to make sure you wouldn’t fall. He was sticking out his tongue towards the camera and you were crossing your eyes and blowing your cheeks while your arms were hugging him around the neck, holding yourself close to him.

For a small second you wondered if your should call him, just to hear his voice for a small second and to hear him say your name.
