For the last time you checked if you had everything with you. The tickets were in your bag, your phone was charged and you had everything with you to make sure your son wouldn’t get bored while you had to wait. You closed the car door before walking back towards the house and looking around to see your son sitting on his blanket on the floor close to the fireplace. For a second you stopped and you took a second to look at him and to take him in. From afar you thought that he looked just like his father, though if you took him with you people said that he looked like you a lot. You preferred to say that he looked more like his father, so that you could see him in your son when he wasn’t around, it was a very nice thought that a part of him was still here with you. 

When your phone buzzed it betrayed your location and Sungho looked up at you with his two innocent eyes. “Mommy we leaving?” He asked cutely as he began to crawl over to you on his hands and knees. You thought about the nice jeans he was wearing and inwardly cursed slightly, this kid had learned how to walk very long ago. “Yes honey, we’re leaving soon. Mommy is making sure we’ve got everything with us we need.” You said while fishing your phone out of your pocket and seeing that you had a text message from your husband. Just seeing his name on your screen made butterflies fly in your belly and made you excited and nervous. Quickly you pressed on it and read what he had to tell you. ‘Getting ready for the concert tonight! We’ll be home soon! I miss you two, give Sungho a kiss from me. Love you, your hubby.” You rolled your eyes at his sweet comment and you were happy to know that he was planning on getting home soon, little did he know that you had some different plans tonight.

You put your phone away and walked over to your son to lift him up in your arms and give him a peck on the cheek. “That one is from daddy. He misses you very much.” You said as you saw how he seemed to light up now that he heard that his father was thinking of him. It wasn’t easy, but you had already known that from the start. If you were going to have a kid together then you were going to be the one taking care of him most of the times. Even though their activities had slowly become less frequent and their schedules had become a little less busy they were still gone a lot. Most of the EXO members were settling down though, so that meant they had more and more time left to spend with their families. But it was still hard for your boy to find out one morning that his dad was gone and he wouldn’t be getting home in weeks. There was just one thing these guys couldn’t seem to let go of, which was the tour they did every single year. You suspected that it was because of the adrenaline rush it had always given them and still did. Also the guys didn’t want to disappoint their fans by disappearing completely so they had accepted to do this tour every single year. 

It helped a lot that you got a lot of support from the families and wives of the other members, because you knew that you weren’t the only one who had to miss her husband for so long. But for Sungho it was all even harder, since he was still so young the kid didn’t understand why he daddy was gone from home for so long. Sometimes he would wake up in the middle of the night, crying because his father wasn’t at home to hug him and put him to bed. It hurt you even more to see him missing Baekhyun than the fact that you were missing him. But as you thought about what you were about to do just now your thoughts got a lot brighter as you pressed another kiss onto his forehead and sat your son down so that you could grab his coat. “And that one was from mommy. Now come over here and put on your coat, we’re going to go see someone very special tonight.” You said as you walked over to him and laid his jacket down on the floor. Ever since he had leaned how to do it he insisted on doing it himself and you watched him as he stuck his small hands into the sleeves and pulled the jacket over his head. You rolled your eyes at how cute he looked because he was trying so hard as you walked over to close the zipper.
