A/N: I know it's been said, many times and in many ways, but happy holidays!!

You stared at your tree in awe, it was so pretty with all the lights and all the red decorations. You felt yourself getting in the mood, this one mood that you could only have at this special time of the year. That feeling that made you want to stand outside and give food to everyone and go and buy presents for everyone, but sadly enough you didn’t have enough money to do any of that. The only thing you could do was make a nice meal, invite the people you loved, have a big tree in the room and put one the fireplace to make it even more romantic. It was Christmas time, your favorite time of the year. And this year you were celebrating it with a person who was the most precious to you. It wasn’t your first Christmas together though, but it was the first time you would celebrate it at your own apartment and not at the exo dorm.
 

To be honest you were a little bit nervous for tonight. You had always been accompanied with other men around you and this was the first time you’d be all alone with Baekhyun. You liked it though, you wanted to have him all to yourself this year, and that had never happened before in the past six years. Only the thought of being able to cuddle with him for the whole evening and to do real Christmas things with him like exchanging gifts and eat good food with him. At this moment Baekhyun was still at practice, you understood it would be hard for him to leave tonight since it was the first time he wouldn’t be sharing this special day with s, but you knew he also wanted to be with you. Last year you had asked him a little shyly to celebrate it with the two of you next time and he had agreed, so this was why you were here right now.

After making sure that the decorations were all right and were all working you decided that it was time for you to get dressed. You didn’t want to look all normal tonight, you wanted to surprise Baekhyun with wearing something special. So you walked into the bedroom and pulled open the closet, where you had kept a white bag for the past two weeks. In that bag was your newest dress which suited the theme perfectly. You had chosen for a red dress that reached just above your knee and which was joined by your black heals. You had chosen this dress because you felt very comfortable in it and because you knew Baekhyun would love it. The dress made your curves come out right and it made you feel y and confident, the exact way you wanted to feel tonight.

When you walked to the kitchen and your apron, the last thing you wanted to do was ruining your dress before Baekhyun had even seen it. You were going to make all his favorite food today as Christmas meal and you knew it would take a lot of time, so that was why you had made some things in advance so that today you’d have more time to be with Baekhyun and wouldn’t have to spend your whole night in the kitchen. You know he would appreciate all the work you did for him and you wondered what he would give you for that. Would he have a present for you? You had one for him, you had bought him a watch. It was kind of expensive and you had worked very hard for it, but it had been worth it. His watch had broken down a few weeks ago and that when you had known what do buy him, you just hoped that he would like it.

But Baekhyun had never told you anything about a gift, and when you had asked him about it he had seemed nervous and a little stressed, which had convinced you that he had forgotten about it. At first you had been very sad about it but by now you had accepted it, men could forget things easily and Baekhyun was someone who didn’t really like buying gifts in the first place. But since it was your first Christmas together you had expected him to have at least a small one, but it seemed that his company should be his present for this year. You sighed softly as you tried to put it out of your mind, but you couldn’t help but being a little bit disappointed about this all. After all what was a Christmas without gifts? That feeling you had right before you could open it or straight before you could give it to the other person, you loved that.
