“How many pages left?” The vibration of his chest made you relax against his body, and you sighed contently as you turned another page of your book you had started reading a few days ago. The books of Lauren Oliver were your new addiction and you were surprised how the concept of delirium amoris had you in its power. The nice thing was that Baekhyun didn’t even mind that you liked to read, though most people found it boring and nerdy. Though he enjoyed to watch you when you read, admiring how you could get lost inside of a story and ow you were concentrating on the pages. “Two more.” You had promised him ten minutes ago that after you’d finish this chapter you’d give him your attention instead of giving it to the book. He’d always want you to make time for him and spend your free moments with him, so if you weren’t at school or weren’t with your parents, you were spending your time with him. It was weird, first the only thing you seemed to do was studying but now it seemed like you barely had time for that. 

Till now the two of you still weren’t officially dating, though Baekhyun did act like that sometimes. Without realizing he would hold your hand and lace your fingers together or he would kiss your cheek, making the both of you blush as you realized what he had done. The truth was that you honestly didn’t mind it if he did that, in fact you loved it. The two of you and been hanging out for two months now but it wasn’t that easy for you to get used to the fact that there was a guy in this world who loved you. Sometimes you’d talk about him being a werewolf but that wasn’t something that was a big topic around you. You knew he was different and you accepted it, but you treated him like he was a normal boy and not someone who was attached to you by an invisible wire. He felt a sincerely strong connection with you that he had never felt to anyone before and that was the reason why he couldn’t stay away from you anymore. Now that he had had the chance to spend time with you and get to know you even better he couldn’t get you off his mind anymore. 

It was weird for you to know that he felt like this while your feelings were still developing. Of course you also felt that there was something special between the two of you and that everything seemed to be just right, but you had never been in love before so how could you just dive into this without thinking about it and taking it seriously? He was a great guy and he was someone so many girls dreamt of, even you but you wanted to be very sure. Maybe you were also a little bit scared, scared that he’d change his mind and you’d be already lost. But it didn’t seem like Baekhyun was ever going to let you go to him, it was as if he was seriously loyal to you like a dog was loyal to its owner. You felt how he tightened his grip around you and nuzzled his nose in your hair, taking in your smell and making you blush. At this moment you were quite happy that your face was hidden behind the cover of your book so he couldn’t see what his actions did to you. 

Noticing that you weren’t able to concentrate anymore because of what he was doing to you and the feeling he was giving you, you closed your book with a big sigh and put it next to you on the small table. As you looked up at him you could see that he was already staring at you, a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. For a second you had no idea how you had ended up like this, lying on his chest on the couch with his arm dropped loosely around your waist as you had been reading and he had been watching TV. But Baekhyun couldn’t stay focussed on the same thing for too long and if he’d get bored he’d always come to you and he’d ask you to play with him. And how could you say no to him if he asked it so nicely? “Happy now?” You asked and he nodded excitingly and you rolled your eyes at him, finding it hard to believe he was so happy just because you had stopped reading for him. But this boy just kept on surprising you time after time and that was probably the reason why you were still so curious about him. You would never be able to stop finding out new things about him, he was so interesting. 

“What do you want to do today?” He asked as he twirled a piece of your hair around his finger and then put it behind your ear, making your heart flutter by the sweet movement. Sometimes it felt as if the two of you had already been a couple for the longest time but then you were always reminded of the fact that you were avoiding that. You had no idea why you hadn’t said yes to being his girlfriend yet, but he had never said anything about it, he was just patiently waiting for you to be ready. It had already been a really big step for you to agree to him to get to know him better, that night when you had met him at the library. That night had literally changed your life in every single possible way and it was really hard to believe but you actually quite liked it. Before, when you had only been studying and you hadn’t had anyone to talk to or to hang out with, you hadn’t realized how lonely you had actually been. But now you were sure that you wouldn’t be able to live without someone like Baekhyun again, just because he was always with you and he had grown to be such an important person in your life.

For a moment you didn’t realize you had been staring at him shamelessly, but when you saw his smirk you started to blush furiously before lowering your eyes to the collar of his shirt. “Do you want to get ice cream?” Happy that he wasn’t sticking with your embarrassing staring and didn’t bring it up your eyes slipped back at his with a giant smile on your face. He knew that ice cream was your weakness and that he’d always be able to get you out with him if he’d treat you on your favorite flavor of ice cream. “Yes!” Hearing the excitement in your voice he smiled and before being able to stop himself he pressed his lips against your temple, not being able to hold himself in because of how cute you were. Your breath got stuck inside of your throat as your heart made a little jump inside of your chest. His lips were so soft and sometimes it made you wonder what it would be like to feel them on top of your own. At these moments you would think about what was going through his mind during these kind of moments, it made you feel curious. 

Without saying anything you crawled off the couch and
