2 Years later

You were walking, enjoying the way the cold air hit your face and made your nose red. You didn't come outside a lot anymore so it was always nice to have these kind of walks. You kicked a stone which was lying at your feet and were actually planning to take it with you all the way to your destination but then you kicked wrong and it flew onto the street. Afraid that a car would bump into you if you wanted to get it you just pouted and walked further, forgetting about the stone already just a few second later. 

You nuzzled more into your scarf as you closed your eyes and breathed in deeply, the fresh air cleaning your body. You weren't aware of the fact that there were also other people on the pavement only until you bumped into someone and almost fell backwards, but the person quickly grabbed your waist and catched you from hitting the ground. You had squeezed your eyes close in preparation but then noticed that was no longer needed so you blinked a few times before keeping your eyes open. 

You gasped for air as you looked at two all to familiar eyes, once you hadn't seen anymore since a very long time and had wished to never see again. He was looking straight back at you and studied your face while he held you in his arms. "H-hey _______-ah." Baekhyun stuttered as he tried to think of what to do. You noticed he looked like a mess and he seemed a little depressed. There were dark circles around his eyes and he looked pale, even more then he had done before. It was something you had never seen when you had been in a relationship with him, an unhealthy Baekhyun. 

You cleared your throat before brushing his arms off of you and standing straight again. "Thank you for saving me. I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." You made a little bow and wanted to continue walking but the way he said your name stopped you. It sounded desperate and begging so you were frozen on the spot. "Wait! C-can we please talk, please." He looked at you with pleading eyes and there was an emotion inside of them you had never seen before, but you didn't understand what it was. 

"We could, but not now, I've got somewhere to go." You said and played with the sleeves of your coat. "O-oh, you're meeting someone else?" He sounded disappointed, of couse he had hoped you hadn't moved on yet. "No, I have an appointment in the hospital so..." You became quiet and he also didn't say anything anymore. But suddenly he laid his hand on your shoulder and you looked up at him. "Are you sick?" He asked and you saw the worry in his eyes, but you didn't understand why. "I don't know yet. I'll get the test results today." 

You had tried really hard to convince him but he insisted that he would go with you, just to make sure you would get there and back home safe, he had explained. He told you about how his relationship had been a big mistake and she had cheated in him with millions of guys. He told you how sorry he was about what he had done to you because he now understood how you must have felt and he would do anything to get a second chance. 

If he would've came a year earlier your anwser would've been very clear, a big no. You never would've given him another chance back then. But now the situation was a little different and so you told him that you needed some time to think about that but he seemed really content with that anwser because you hadn't turned him down on the spot. You just wanted to believe that he had changed and now you knew that his relationship with that girl had ruined him you wanted to show him what a big mistake he had made for leaving you. But still, you weren't sure if you were able to love him again.

You arrived at the hospital together and walked to the waiting room, because it wasn't your turn yet. "So, how long have you been feeling ill?" Baekhyun asked as he stared down on the cup of tasteless hospital water he was holding. "It' s not like I've been feeling ill, I just felt really strange and my doctor immediately sent m
