“We’re going to have so much fun tonight!” You squeezed your eyes at her and took her in. She had been jumpy all day long, super excited and all giggly because of this whole thing though this wasn’t the first time she had come with you to an event like this. Irene was your best friend, so it was quite normal for the two of you to go to these kind of things together. It had become like your date night, you would always take her. She was skipping around in the living room where she stopped every two steps before realizing she couldn’t stand still and moving along again. You shut down the TV and dropped the remote, which made her look up at you while you and your eyes locked on your strange acting friend. 

Irene was a kind person, who could be very surprisingly happy but normally she was very down to earth about these kind of things. She wasn’t all bubbly because she knew that you were dating a celebrity and you were allowed to go to his concerts for free and could take her with you because he didn’t want you to go out there by yourself. Usually when you took her she would act as if it was the most normal thing in the world, though it surely wasn’t. All your friends were so jealous that you’d always take her and would never ask them. But today she was acting so strange, she was constantly jumping around and it seemed as if she was more happy to go and see your boyfriend then you were. 

She looked at you while you studied her and quickly tried to act as normal as she possibly could, but there was a sparkle in her eyes that told you that something more was going on here. You pointed your finger at her as she pulled an innocent face at you. “What’s up with you?” You asked as you stood up from the couch and walked over to her, stopping so that the counter was in the middle of the two of you. Her eyes widened while she pretended as if there wasn’t anything going on at all, but she wasn’t fooling you. “What do you mean?” She asked while leaning on the counter with her chin in the palm of her hand, her eyes blinking at you as if she was trying very hard to convince you of something, maybe too hard. 

You rolled your eyes at her before turning away from her and going over to the couch again, but suddenly she was standing right in front of you, blocking your way. You were surprised by her sudden appearance, you didn’t even hear her moving into your direction. “Aren’t you excited to see your boyfriend?” She asked as she crossed her arms in front of her chest and gave you a long stare, which made you feel very uncomfortable. You shrugged your shoulders before walking past her to grab your coat. You were excited to see Baekhyun, of course you were, especially after he had been gone for such a long time. But that didn’t mean that you were going to share that with her, and that didn’t mean that she had to act this strange. It was you who had to be that happy to see him again, not her. 

She was up to something, but you had no idea what it was. If she was going to embarrass you in any kind of way tonight, then you were going to kill her. “I am! I just don’t understand why you are this jumpy. I’ve never seen you this excited to see Baekhyun before, so why now?” You watched her as she put her jacket on and pulled her hoodie over her head. It was pouring outside, if it wasn’t for Baekhyun you wouldn’t have left the house tonight. But Baekhyun had arranged back stage passes for tonight, though he had told you to stay in the public, since he wanted you to see the performance. You didn’t mind being in the crowd, you loved the sphere that appeared as soon as you got in a big group of screaming girls, begging for the boys their attention. The best thing was that fans didn’t really seem to bother about it anymore  that you were the girlfriend of Byun Baekhyun, so you could keep on doing the things you used to do. 

They had probably realized that there was no way of breaking your relationship, since it was that strong.You had been together for six years now, there was no one who could still stand between the two of you. After you had found your phone and had made sure that it was indeed charged, you turned back towards your friend. She was giving you one of those weird looks again, and actually it began to annoy you. You frowned before looking down on yourself, trying to understand what was so wrong about your outfit.
