Every day had been the same and you were slightly getting bored about your routine. But you had no other choice than to keep on going and to bite through this. Only two more weeks and then this would all be over and everything wold get so much easier and much more calm. If you only wouldn’t be so tired then it would all go so much better, but you almost weren’t able to get any rest and you were so busy that you almost didn’t have the time to breath. For the past few days you had been going from one place to the other, back and forth like you didn’t have a life apart from this. But your exams had started two days ago and you couldn’t just give up your job because you needed some extra time to study. You needed this money to get through the month and you refused to rely on your boyfriend, even though he had told you many times before that you didn’t have to worry that much about that. He wanted to share everything with you, even his money, but you didn’t want to make it seem as if you were with him because of his money. Besides, during other times you loved your job, but at this so moment it was just a little bit hard. It didn’t help that it was getting winter and that it was always getting more and more busy in the cafe since people wanted to escape from the cold. 

There were still two more days until your next exam, but you needed this time in between to study and to prepare yourself. You hated it if you didn’t know everything and if there was a chapter you didn’t know as well, because if that would be a question then you wouldn’t be able to answer it. It was a part of your personality, always pushing yourself to get better, to outdo yourself and to aim higher every single time. You hated it to fail and to be disappointed in yourself, to let other people down while you could actually do much better. Maybe you were a little bit a perfectionist and some people saw that as a good quality and others thought that it was bad. The worst part was probably that it made you extremely stressed out since you always had the feeling that you were never good enough. The need to always to your best and to always try your hardest was tiring you but you couldn’t stop now. You needed your grades and you wanted to keep you job and so far combining the two of them had been great, but at this moment it was all getting a little bit too much. You barely had time left to take care of yourself, to sleep or to sleep. Leave alone that you had any time for the people around you. 

At this moment the most important thing for you was your school and your work, even though other people would call you crazy if they would hear that you refused to listen to them. Later you’d be proud of yourself, that you had been able to finish your study and safe some money during the same time. It would give you a head start and then you’d have a good chance to a good future. A sigh left your lips as you turned another page and with your other hand you reached out for your cup of coffee standing a little further away fro you. Without your daily dose of caffeine you weren’t able to live through the day and then you would have been asleep right now. But you still had to finish at least three more chapter today, which was less than normal so you actually still had a chance to get some sleep today. You longed for your bed so much that you were barely able to stop yourself from crawling over and laying down to sleep. But instead of doing that you took another big sip from your cup and felt the warm fluid run through your body as you blinked your eyes a few times. You had to fight so hard against the need to close you eyes, even if it was only for a few seconds. A small headache was starting to annoy you, another thing you had to deal with right now. 

And as if all of that wasn’t even enough a small knock on the door made you frown as you tried to stop yourself from looking up instead of looking down on your paper. Every second you’d waste on doing something else than studying was a second less for you to sleep later tonight. There was only one person who could be coming in this early during the day and that was the man who lived with you. You hadn’t seen each other a lot during the past couple of days, since he had a busy schedule and you were always working or studying. Even if he was at home then you’d still be in a different room very often. You couldn’t study in the living room, with the noises of the tv surrounding you and it was hard for you to concentrate when Baekhyun was around you. Of course you loved to see him when you took a break for ten minutes, but you had asked him to leave you alone if you were busy. You missed him and you wished that you could spend some more time with him, but this was important and you were sure that he understood. It wan’t like you were doing this for fun, this was just as hard for you as it was for everyone else. “I made us something to eat, will you come downstairs and have diner with me or should I bring it over?” The sound of his voice made you jump slightly and you almost spilled coffee over one of your pages. Your heart was beating fast as you brushed a few drips away and hoped that you’d still be able to read all of the words written down there.
