“I’m so happy you wanted to come along with me! We’re going to have so much fun tonight.” Baekhyun said as he eyed you from the side, but didn’t turn his head into your direction. He was lucky he didn’t, otherwise you would have scolded him for not paying any attention on the road. You smiled as you listened to him, he had been rambling on for at least half an hour about how excited he was to see all his old friends again and to spend Christmas with them. It had been ages since they had seen each other and since they had all been together. He thought it was a great idea that they decided to invite family as well, which meant that you were in the car next to him and your new born daughter was sleeping in her crib on the backseat. At first you hadn’t wanted to bring her, but Baekhyun had been so thrilled about showing his princess of to all of his friends. So in the end you had decided to take her, but you had made a condition to it. “As long as it doesn’t get too late. You know that Saera needs her sleep.” You repeated once again and saw how your husband rolled his eyes at you. You remained silent for the rest of the ride as you listened to Baekhyun talking about his former classmates, everything they did together and all the pranks they had pulled. You were glad that he was so into this and that he could spend his night with the people he ha longed to see for such a long time now. 

He parked the car near the school building and you looked around to watch it clearly. You and Baekhyun had met in college, which meant that you hadn’t gone to the same high school together. You had never met his friends before, though you had seen a few of them a few times, very briefly. Honestly, you hadn’t really been looking forward to this night, spending it in an old classroom with people you didn’t know and a little daughter to take care of. But Baekhyun had assured you that you would love his friends, and that everything was going to be great. Well, now let’s see if he had been speaking the truth. The both of you got out of the car and both pulled open a door to the backseat. You smiled down on your cute little girl who’s eyes were still closed and who was still sleeping soundlessly. There was a part of you hoping that she would stay calm tonight and wouldn’t cry too much, so that maybe you wouldn’t be bother by her too much. While grabbing Saera and her crib you made sure not to juggle her too much and not to wake her up. She was wrapped into a pink blanket, making sure that she wouldn’t catch a cold into the fresh air. You were aware of the fact that while lying her like this she looked like a spoiled baby, but Baekhyun only wanted the best of the best for his daughter, he did spoil her. “Are you ready?” You asked your husband and saw how he nodded his head very convincingly before locking the car. He waited for you until you were walking next to him and showed you the way towards the entrance of the building. “I texted one of the guys to ask where we should go, he said that every old class has their own reunion in their old classroom. Isn’t that great? I’ll show you my spot as soon as we’re there.” He said and held the door open for you so that you could walk inside. To your satisfaction there was no loud music playing inside of the hallway as you entered, just some soft sphere music. For a moment you had expected this to become a real party, wild and reckless, but of course you had had to dramatize it. The lights were slightly dimmed inside of the hall, and there were only a few people walking around, searching for the right classroom to go to. This actually seemed very nice so far, but then again you hadn’t met anyone yet. 

The two of you walked through the hallways together, and you listened to him explaining things to you and he stopped at the locker that had been his a long time ago. This all reminded you of your high school years, you didn’t have any bad memories of them, but it wasn’t like it had been your favorite time in your life. Back then you had just been a normal and quiet girl and you had had your own group of friends and you had been happy.
