Your lungs were hurting, your chest was hurting, your head was hurting, everything was hurting. Your body ached and you were cold, only your left hand was feeling warm. Swallowing was difficult, breathing too. The last couple of nights nightmares had been the centers of your sleep. It was a different one every time, but they always ended the same. You ended up in water, you ended up drowning. And you didn't know why, you didn't know why you were feeling like this, why you were having these dreams. 

You only knew that you had slept for a very long time now, but you were too scared to wake up. What if your dreams were warning you, telling you that this was what was going to happen to you if you would open your eyes. But you were tired of sleeping, you didn't want to have these nightmares anymore. You decided that now was the perfect time, the perfect time to wake up. 

You pouted, it was a habit of yours, you even did it in your sleep. You groaned while you tried to open your eyes. Your eyelids felt heavy and they were difficult to lift. When they opened you stared straight to a white ceiling. You breathed slowly and frowned. You recognized this smell, you had been here before. You turned your head and moaned, even your neck was hurting. Then you found the reason why your hand was this hot, since there was a person lying on it. Your fingers were intertwined with his, while his head was near your hip. He was sleeping but you couldn't see his face.
