For the past few days you hadn’t been able to think about anything than about what Victoria had told you. It wasn’t very easy not to think about it though, because it hadn’t stopped with that only picture. There had been a few articles as well, on the internet, saying that the female artist was the person who he’d be recording his next solo single with. Apparently they spent a lot of time together, getting to know each other before they would get into the recording room. You told yourself that you didn’t care and that it didn’t mean anything, but it wasn’t easy. The fact that Baekhyun wasn’t contacting you very much made it all twice as hard. The last thing you wanted to do was bother him, but you couldn’t help but try to talk to him from time to time, but to know what he was up to. But most of your text remained unanswered and if he did respond then his answers would rather be short and straight forward. Maybe he was mad at you for disturbing him, it could be the reason why he was barely replaying to you. Actually that was what you told yourself, because you didn’t want to think about the other thing that could be going on. 

Of course you had looked her up and she was a very pretty woman. She really seemed like Baekhyun’s type of girl and you had noticed that she had a very outgoing personality. And then you still had your students, you were sure they didn’t mean to make it look like they did, but they seemed to send you these kind of looks of pity. It was as if everyone was believing that your husband had left you for someone else and it was driving you crazy. Of course you knew that it was insane, that it wasn’t true and that you shouldn’t believe it. But when everything came together, the comments of the people around you, the articles on the internet, the small clips on TV, interviewers talking about it, other celebrities talking about it, his short and stranded answers towards you… It all made you feel so insecure. You had never been very secure about yourself, your looks or the fact that you were good enough for your husband. You knew that it bothered him sometimes, that you didn’t believe in yourself, but he had never judged you for it. 

But now that he was hanging around that self secure woman who had an amazing sense of humor and who had beautiful hair and who understood his world more than you, because she lived in it herself. You knew that you should stop watching all those messages and you shouldn’t care about what other people thought. Your marriage was strong before he had left and you couldn’t think of anything that had happened to make that change. A long sigh came past your lips as you stared at the empty room in front of you. One of your students had forgotten his pen case and some chairs weren’t shove underneath the desks. It was the usual Friday afternoon rush, students had been stuck in this building all week long and they couldn’t wait to get home and not think about school for a few days until they had to start their homework on Sunday evening. You couldn’t prove them wrong, normally you were just like them. But now that Baekhyun wasn’t home there was no reason for you to go back home for. So you stayed behind a little longer, sitting down on the chair behind your desk and grabbing some paper work you still had to get done. 

After a few hours you had corrected all of your tests and there was nothing else left for you to do. You leaned back in your chair and wondered how it had come to this. How had you become this isolated that you had decided to spend your free time in your classroom at school. Everyone had gone home to spend the evening with their family or friends and here you were. You put down your red pen and searched through your bag to find your phone. You had no idea what to expect when you saw the small blue light flicker in the right corner. You took a deep breath and unlocked the screen, seeing that you had two new texts. At first you told yourself not to hope, because you knew that during this hour of the day he was always really busy. But when you clicked on it you felt that fire blazing inside of you, you wanted the text to be from him. You had the feeling as if someone had poured a bucket filled with ice cold water over you when you saw they were both from Sulli. She was wondering where you were, in the second texts she seemed a little bit more worried.
