A/N: Good luck with your finals everyone!! 

“So if you multiply this number by 2 and then draw the square root of the number you worked out earlier the only thing you still have to do is count them together and then you’ve got your result. It’s actually that easy.” He said proudly as he handed you back your pencil after circling the number he had just miraculously conjured on your paper. You had no idea what he had just told you, but once thing you were sure of, that you didn’t understand anything of it. It looked so easy if he did it, all the formulas were all floating around din his head as if it was his first biological language. You had no idea how he could make sense out of all these numbers and signs, but you clearly couldn’t. You were staring at your paper, feeling a little bit defeated. How could it be that you were so bad at this and that he was doing so well? It was clear which of you two was going to fail tomorrow exam, and it wasn’t going to be Baekhyun. 

This was the most horrible time of the year, it was final week. Days and days of endless torture by numbers and science, languages and poems… You had no idea how you were going to push all of these things inside of your head in just the few hours you had left, but you just had to. There was no way you were going to cancel your vacation because you had failed your finals. No, you would definitely pass and you were sure that if you had the right help and that if you would only study hard enough that you would make it through. But if you looked down on the piece of paper in front of you and realized how little you knew about tomorrows exam, the only thing you could do was freak out. There was no way you were going to pass your Math exam, not even if you would stay up all night and would keep studying till tomorrow morning. There was no way you were going to get through this. 

“It’s okay if you don’t understand, I can still explain it in a different way.” Baekhyun said as he studied your sad expression. You looked up at him with a amazed look before shaking your head and leaning back against the pillows on your bed. “Baek, you’ve already tried at least 10 different ways to explain this to me, the eleventh one it’s going to make it any better. We just have to accept that there is no way that I’ll ever pass this exam, I’ll fail no matter what.” It was no surprise to him, he knew that this was going to be hard and that you’d give up half way. Because after all, math was your word course, you seriously couldn’t handle any numbers and you had no idea how to work with them. But when you had asked him to help you out, he hadn’t doubted for a second. As your friend he really wanted you to pass and he really wanted to spend his summer vacation with you, which couldn’t happen if you failed this exam. 

He looked at you as he tried to think of a different way to give you your energy back. “Okay, what if we turn this into a game?” He asked and he saw that he had gained your attention. You leaned your chin in the palm of your hand and smiled at him, glad that he didn’t give up on you even though this seemed impossible. “What do you suggest?” You asked and you saw a smirk appear on his face, you already began to shake your head. “If you get the answer right, I’ll take off a piece of clothing. But if you get it wrong, you will.” You laughed loudly as you shook your head, not very happy with that deal. “No way! I’ll end up while you’ll be completely dressed!” You said, already feeling the blood raise towards your cheeks. Baekhyun was your best friend and you had seen each other before… when you were five years old or something… 

“I’m only suggesting this because I believe in you, I bet you to get me before you are.” You blinked your eyes at him and you had no idea how he had come to trust you this much, since you were clearly horrible at this. “I don’t want to see you .” You then
