As soon as the numbness in your body seemed to go away, so did the safety you had found in the darkness inside of your head. Images came up, without you wanting them to but there was nothing you could do in order to stop them. They reminded you of how stupid you had been, of the terrible choices you had made because of the betrayal and the hurt you had been feeling. If you could only go back in time to undo everything that had happened, god you never would have spoken to that Daniel in the first place. Now that you were able to look at it from a distance you knew that you should have seen it coming. He had been much too eager, much too willing, had been treated you too nicely. The only thing you wish you knew was when he had decided to drug you, when he had slipped something into your drink. He had probably seen his chance when you had been too busy spying on Baekhyun and that strange girl. Who, you hadn’t forgotten about yet, she as still very present inside of your thoughts, she still made your blood boil. A sudden nausea took over you and you forced your eyes to open so that you could orientate yourself. If you needed to race down towards the toilet any time soon then it would come in handy to know where to find it. As soon as you opened your eyes you noticed that you weren’t at your small apartment, the bedroom didn’t look alike. It wasn’t your mattress you were sleeping on, this wasn’t your pillow and the sheets weren’t yours. It surprised you so much that you almost got to believe that the part of your saving had been a dream, that you had imagined it and that Daniel had used his chance to take you with him and had done horrible things with you. 

But you were dressed in a thick hoody that reached over your thighs, keeping you warm and you were tugged tightly underneath the covers. Someone had wanted you to sleep as comfortably as you could, had tried to make sure everything you needed was close enough for you to reach it. Your phone was laying on the nightstand, charging, so you assumed the battery had died. Beside it was a glass of water, joined by some pills which seemed like painkillers, ready for you to take them if necessary. The room was abandoned and it was quiet inside of the house, you could tell because the only thing you could hear was the sound of your own breathing. It was still dark outside, the light shining through the window was clearly coming from the moon that was still high up in the sky. You wondered how that was possible, it had been late when you had left the club and you felt as if you had slept for hours. Wasn’t it supposed to be daytime already? Unknowingly you brought the sleeve of the sweater up towards your face, drinking in the smell that hung into the fabric. It didn’t make it hard to realize where you were and who’s bed you were sleeping in, the entire room smelled like him. You would recognize this scent everywhere, no matter how hard you tried to forget it. Slowly you turned over, feeling a head ache coming up behind your eyes and you reached out for the medicine. There was something about taking large pills that had always terrified you, just the thought that you could choke on them made you feel uncomfortable. But eventually the pain and uncomfortableness seemed to win over your fear and you swallowed them with a big gulp of water. When you laid your head back down onto the soft pillow you tried to remember anything of what had happened after Baekhyun had picked you up in his arms and had carried you to what you had assumed to be his car. But there wasn’t much you could recall. You didn’t remember him taking you to his house or him changing you out of your dress and putting you to bed. A shiver ran down your spine as you thought of him touching your bare skin, seeing you with barely any clothes on. 

He wasn’t the guy to take advantage of you, no matter in what kind of situation, but it still made you feel nervous that he had undressed you. Though, you felt extremely nice wearing his clothes, it was like a second skin and they felt really soft. What would have happened to Daniel after he had found you? You would make sure to ask him when you found him. It was clear that you weren’t going to be able to get some sleep again, you were wide awake and even though you felt weak and sick, you knew you had to get out of bed and had to go looking for him. You wanted answers, you had so many questions and it drove you crazy that you had to lay here and wait for them to get solved. Carefully you hit back the comforter and pushed yourself up so that you were able to swing your legs over the edge of the bed. The turning walls came to a stop after a few deep breaths and you wondered how long it was going to take for those drugs to disappear out of your system completely. No one would ever know what he had given you, or how much he had slipped into your drink, but you felt furious thinking about what he had done to you. If you would ever run into him again you would make him pay for what he had done. How could a guy who was as handsome as Daniel be so desperate to get a girl that he had to drug them to come with him? A small moan escaped from your lips and you pushed yourself out of bed the same moment someone walked into the room and a shadow appeared in your view. You weren’t sure if it was the shock of fear that caused your knees to buckle or if it was the weakness in your legs you still felt but two arms protected you from landing on the carpet floor. “You shouldn’t be up yet.” Baekhyun spoke softly as he replaced his arm around your waist and pulled you back up to your feet, positioning him in front of him but never letting you go.
