“This movie is not even that good.” Beakhyun said as you rolled your eyes at him but smiled. It had been his idea to stay home with you today so he could watch this movie and now he was starting to complain, this was so typical for him. You shifted and you could feel him lifting his arm before readjusting it around your shoulder as he continued to watch the film. “What’s so bad about it?” You asked as you tried to listen better to hear what it was about, because honestly you hadn’t really been following the storyline. You heard Baekhyun sniff beside you because he already guessed how this was going to turn out, you guys could discus about these kind of things for hours without anyone winning. 

“Well, first of all the lead actor is ugly and he had a weird accent.” He started and you clacked your tongue at him, leaning away from him as you had been cuddled up against his side. “I think that he has a very charming voice, it’s very warm.” You brought up and you both knew that if one of you two had heard it better than it must be you, you heard those kind of things. You better did, you had to decide on a person’s voice if he was someone you wanted to hang out with or not or someone who you rather would stay away from. Since you couldn’t exactly see how they were looking and what kind of person they were. Most of the time the clothing style told a lot about someone’s personality, but you didn’t think it would be very polite if you’d start asking stranger what they were wearing. 

It had been a habit for you ever since you had been a very little kid, but you had become more experienced as you had grown older, especially because it had only gotten worse as you had become older. You had been born with a rare disorder and simply said it just meant that after a few years you had become blind. The most painful thing was probably that when you had been very little that you had been able to see, of course not as good as normal people did, but you had been walking around without needing someone to lead you around or to use a stick. When you had been 15 years old it had seemed as if you had been looking through some kind of tube, you had only been able to clearly focus on what was in the centre of your view. 

A few years later the colors had started to fade, slowly, until nothing else had been left but shadows and black and grey colors. The past few years your view had declined very quickly, that much that you could say which ways a little part of your view was disappearing, and it was kind of scary. But by now you were almost completely blind, the only thing you could still see was something that was very much lit up, but even then you could only see some lines or a shadow. It had made your life much more complicated and you had actually never thought that you ever would have been able to make it as normal as it was today. “You have a horrible taste.” Baekhyun snickered as he shook his head and leaned back against the couch. 

Even though you couldn’t be sure, you could feel he was staring at you so you turned your head into a different direction. The two of you had been in a relationship for quite some time now, but you still blushed each time he would touch you or would look at you. You were dazed by his appearance, every day again and you were sure that was never going to end. “Are you talking about yourself?” You asked as you turned to him with a teasing expression which you knew he’d notice. He chuckled softly before wrapping his arms around your waist and he pulled you closer to him until you were sitting on his lap. “No, you love me.” He muttered while he hid his face in the crook of you neck. You could feel that he was blushing by the way that his hot cheeks were pressing against your neck. You brought up your hand and ruffled his hair loving the smell of his shampoo flying into your nose. 

Even though you're blind and your sight was never going to improve again, there were still a lot of wonderful things in your life. One of them was Baekhyun, who you had been dating for a little more than a year now. Even though you weren’t an easy person to live with he had never criticized you before because of your illness and you felt that he accepted you for the way that you are. But even though he was trying his best to take care of you and you tried your hardest not to be a burden for him, you could tell that it wasn’t always easy for him. There were some things you could impossibly do you yourself now that your sight was going backwards and he was very busy most of the time. Together with the stress of being a wonderful performer he also had to deal with his blind girlfriend who had to be taken care of. Sometimes you wondered if he would be better off without you, so that at least his personal life wouldn’t be as stressing as it was today. But as much as you cared about him, you were also too selfish to leave him. 

“I’m going to grab something to drink? Do you want something?” You asked as you stood up from his lap and began to shuffle towards the kitchen slowly, waiting for him
