A/N: A little bit of summer feels

“Don’t do that you !” You heard many screams of joy and fun coming from behind you but you were too lazy to lift your head and look at what they were doing. It was a very sunny day and it was extremely hot outside,like always in the middle of the summer. No one cared though, everyone would rather have it hot then cold and there was so much more to do during the summer months than during the winter. It had been a very long time since all of you had been able to go out together.

Everyone had their own lives and their own busy schedules. Even though it was hard to believe that students could actually be busy and couldn’t make time for each other was quite hard to believe. You were seniors, all going to another university next years and all going your separate ways. That didn’t stop you from seeing each other and have a good time together though, now that you still had the chance and all still were friends. 

You heard Kristal squeal and giggled softly while lifting your head and finally finding the energy to see the other putter around in the water together. It had been a very good idea of Jongdae to g to the lake today, even though it was such a wonderful day, there weren’t any other people around. The lake wasn’t as clean as a normal pool but it was just as refreshing, and for some young kids like you, the perfect place to be.

No adults around, only you and your friend and all the time of the world to not give a about all the responsibilities you had to take care of. Today was the first time in a long time that you finally felt free again, free of worries and concerns. You could see how Sunny was splashing water on Yesung, who laughed while trying to block it off. It was nice to see everyone this freely getting along with each other, without having to wonder what other would think of it. 

You were a group of people who didn’t have any secrets for each other, who told each other everything and who hadn’t even had to be afraid that anyone would laugh at you, there was real trust in this friendship. You studied those 6 people, with those bright smiles on there face while teasing each other in the water. The thought that after this summer you could possibly lose them made you feel sad, but it wasn’t something you’d let ruin your day. “What are you thinking of?”

Your attention was jumping back to the boy who was now brushing a piece of hair back behind your ear and who was smiling up at you by seeing your thoughtful expression. You knew that if you’d tell him the truth then you’d upset him so you smiled back at him and put your chin on top of his chest. “I was thinking that the water must be to amazingly refreshing right now.” It was true though, the sun was burning on your skin. 

Even though he knew you weren’t saying the truth he didn’t ask anything about it and just went along with it. “We can always go to swim if you want to.” He suggested but you could see that he’d rather stay where he was right now. You were straddling him laying on top of him inches arms. It wasn’t weird, because even in this close group of friends there must be some love right?

You had all been friends since you were 12, you and Baekhyun had started dating when you were sixteen and right after that Kristal and Suho had formed a couple, but you weren’t sure if everything was going well between those two, they had been avoiding each other for days. You had Baekhyun had a great relationship though, and you didn’t see it break down any time soon, even not after two years. 

“Nahh, I think I’ll stay here just a little longer.” You said, crawling back against his chest and feeling his arm wrap around you. Baekhyun was a great cuddly person, always up for hugging you and just sitting or laying somewhere with you in his arms, and you enjoyed every second of it. You both felt so comfortable with your friends that you didn’t even try to hide it from them, and they also didn’t seem to mind.
