You were sitting behind your desk, rubbing your temples in frustration. You were never going to get all of your work finished in time. You had a date tonight with Baekhyun, for the first time in months and you weren't going to make it. You stared at your phone, knowing you actually had to cancel everything but you didn't want to. You shook your head and took the next file off the pile next to you and opened it. Why did the both of you have such a busy life? 

You were a lawyer and your career was finally starting to break out which meant you couldn't make any mistakes now. Baekhyun was an idol so his schedules were also always really tight and because your free time never matched you two barely saw each other even though you lived in the same house. It made you sad that your boyfriend didn't have much time for you because he was the one who normally canceled dates. You were always free and he was always too busy, but tonight it was the other way around, for the first time. 

You wrote and wrote and before you knew it your pen was empty and you sighed deeply before throwing it into the trash bin. You had to call your boyfriend, this wasn't going to work out. You picked up your phone and dialed his number, knowing he always had his phone with him and had to pick it up. You heard how it went over and after the fourth time you heard Baekhyun's smooth voice instead. "Hey baby..." He said happily and you greeted him back, not so happy. "What's wrong? You sound like you have to tell me something?" You nodded, even though you knew he couldn't see that. 

"Listen Baekie, I'm not going to be able to make it tonight. I have so much work and I truly have to finish this or my boss is going to kill me and..." You were planning to say more but Baekhyun cut you off in the middle of your sentence. "Yeah whatever, thanks babe, a lot." Then he hung up and your jaw dropped from his rudeness. You knew he was pissed now but did he even have the reason to be? This was the first time you were the one who couldn't make it, out of all the times he had canceled. You found you had to right to do this. 

You sat down again on your chair and told yourself to work and to forget about him. He would've forgotten about it before you got home. But for some reason you couldn't concentrate and your mind kept slipping towards Baekhyun. He sounded really angry and disappointed, maybe you had to work through the night tomorrow and go home anyway. Why were you this good hearted and did you always care about other people more than yourself? 

You picked up your bag and took your jacket and swung it over your shoulders, hoping that it wouldn't be too cold so you wouldn't freeze.You walked out of the enormous building and just watched carefully where you were going so you wouldn't trip. You were tired so you hoped that Baekhyun didn't want to go out anymore and you wished you could just spend the rest of the time on the couch, watching a movie together and cuddle until you fell asleep into each others arms, the most romantic thing ever. 

You quickly turned left and saw your apartment appear in sight. The lights were still on so Baekhyun was already home and was still awake. you giggled softly as you tried to imagine his surprised face about you being home all of a sudden. You were already searching for your key in your bag and put it in the hole, turning it so the door opened. But when you got into the living room you weren't so happy with what you saw. The place was a big mess and your boyfriend was sleeping loudly on the couch. This meant that the lights were on but they had no use but still the amound of money you had to pay on the electricity bill was going up. 

You narrowed your eyes into tiny little slids and made your way over to your about to be death boyfriend. "Yah! Byun Baekyun! Wake up you brat!" You shook him wildly and he shot up into a sitting position. You saw on his face that you had given him a heart attack by waking him up like that and that you had frightened him, but you could care less.
