You couldn’t believe you had actually agreed to doing this. From the beginning you had known that you should have just forgotten about this all and that you had had to let him know that you wouldn’t come, that he could take his sorry and go back to his band members, to his fame and his job, just like he had done years ago. You weren’t surprised that he had called you that one day, what did surprised you was that it had taken him so long. It had been almost 2 years since the two of you had broken up, and you had both gone separate ways. In the beginning of it al, you had been heart broken, the only things that had been able to cheer you up had been ice cream and your cat. It had been you though, who had broken up with him and not him who had dumbed you. You just hadn’t been able to do it anymore, that relationship had been making your feel depressed. 

Just walking this road made you feel bad and grumpy, since you had broken up with him you had always tried to prevent using this path. But now, it was leading you right back to the place you had ended everything so long ago, and you knew that this had been a bad idea. So many memories were floating back to the surface, so many things that you had tried to ignore or push away, it hurt. The thing was, no matter how hard you’d try, you’d never get over it. Your relationship with him had been such an important part of your life, too bad it had already crushed you, otherwise it would have been a wonderful memory. But now, if you thought back about it you had the feeling as if the pieces of your heart, which you had glued together such a long time ago, were all threatening to fall apart again. It made you feel as if you couldn't breath, as if they were chocking you. But you had made a promise, and you were someone who always kept those, no matter what. 

So you walked into the park and as soon as you got there, you could already seen him. He hadn’t changed much, his hair color was different and his body was more muscled, more skilled than it had been the last time you had seen him. Though you noticed that the TV didn’t show off how good he actually looked, he was much more handsome in real life. He was staring down on his feet, had no idea that you had arrived and were making your way over to him, which made that you could stare at him carelessly. He looked tensed, as if his whole body was filled with stress that he couldn’t get rid of, you wondered what had caused that. But over all, he still looked like the still boy who had left you here all by yourself two years ago, which made you want to turn around and run away again before you’d get involved into this. There he was, sitting on that bench where you had ended things with him, you had no idea why he had chosen this place to meet up again, but you did know that it made it even more emotional. 

Just when you had actually decided that it was better if you’d just go back home, his head shot up and his eyes spotted you, which made that you could no longer leave. By the way he looked at you, you could see that he hadn’t expected you to come at all, he had thought that you wouldn’t show up, which had probably been a better plan. You kept on walking until you were standing a few steps in front of him and then stopped, keeping a safe distance in between the two of you. “Baekhyun.” You greeted him shortly, there was no reason why you should keep up an act. “Hey __________-ah, thanks for meeting me here.” He said, but the smile he showed you looked very fake for some reason, you had no idea if that was because he was so stressed out or because of something else. Maybe you didn’t want to know, because after all you weren’t able to smile back at him as well. This moment was feeling so awkward, you had no idea what to say to him but reminded yourself that you didn’t need to, he was the one who asked you to come over, so he was the one who had to do the talking. 

Eventually you took a seat beside him and crawled deeply into your jacket, the weather had become cold these days and the wind was cutting through your clothes. You wondered if you had come here for nothing, because it didn’t look as if he was going to say anything to you. The distance between the two of you was touchable, the sphere between the two of you icy, you had no idea why you had agreed to meeting him.
