“Listen, I can come over and help you if you want?” You asked Sam, though you already knew what her answer would be. She wasn’t one who easily accepted help form others, not even from her friends, and surely not on a task as important as this one. That was probably the reason why you weren’t rushing back towards your car at the moment and continued to get lost in the web of shops you were currently visiting. “No, no, it’ll be fine. I just want it to be perfect, that’s all.” She muttered and you smiled, thinking back of the time when you had made all of those decisions yourself. Back then, you had also wanted every single detail to be absolutely amazing, no matter the cost. Some part of you wanted to tell her to be careful, that all these efforts could be thrown away so easily and could be meaningless after some time. But who were you to take her dreams away from her? It wasn’t like everyone ended up like you in the first place, so you shouldn’t be too hard on her. “You’re still coming over tonight right? To discuss everything that’ll be happening. You’re my maid of honor, so expect you to sweat.” She said and you couldn’t help but laugh at her words. You had always known that Sam would get married one day, as soon as she had found the perfect guy who’d be able to ring her. You continued your journey through the mall with your thoughts on your friend. You were so glad she was happy, that was the only thing you’d ever wished for her. You knew that this was like wise and that she was just as happy for you that you had been able to clean up the mess your life had once been to start fresh. It had been three years since your split with Baekhyun. Though you had never regretted your marriage with him, you were now able to look at it from a different point of view. You and Baekhyun had been young when you had gotten to know each other, and you had gotten married at a young age. But why shouldn’t you have? You’d been in love with him after all. But after all this time you finally were able to see that the two of you had never brought out the best in each other.
