You laid down on the bed and crawled yourself into a ball. This couldn’t be possible, how could it be that this always happened to you? You were sure that by now you had already tried everything to get rid of it, but each month you would get a wonderful present. Each month your period would drive you crazy, because you would have insanely painful cramps, so bad that you had no idea what you had to do with yourself. You couldn’t sit, you couldn’t stand you could lay down, for one reason or another you just couldn’t do anything. Sometimes it would even be so bad that you would feel sick and you had to throw up. Most of the time if your period would be so bad, you would feel it coming for days on forehand. You would start feeling strange, your back started hurting and you felt some annoying stings in your abdomen, and then you already knew you had to be prepared. 

But this was not the right time, you had promised Baekhyun that you would go out together tonight, but you were sure this wasn’t going to be over until tomorrow morning. There was no way you would be able to act normal and amused if you were feeling like this and your date was going to turn into a mess. But you really wanted to go, you wanted to spend time with him and you wanted to go to that movie you guys had planned to go watch. A long sigh passed your lips as you thought about what you weren’t going to do. You had already taken some medication against the pain, but it would still take some time before it would work. Your boyfriend would be standing here in half an hour to take you out and you weren’t even able to stand on your legs properly. So it was time for your emergence plan and you told yourself to get up from the bed. But instead of walking over towards the bathroom you were almost crawling and you had to lean your hand against the wall for some support so that you would keep on standing up. 

When you finally reached the bathroom almost ten minutes later you got undressed and stepping inside of the shower. There weren’t many thing that helped if you were going through horrible pains like these, but what did always help you was a nice and hot shower. It would make your muscles relax and then you would feel a little bit better. Knowing that you didn’t have a long time before Baekhyun would be there you only stood under the water for a few minutes before getting out of the shower and wrapping a towel around your body. When you looked into the mirror you noticed that your skin looked pale and that your cheeks were flushed in a red shade. You weren’t ill and you couldn’t believe that there was actually still enough blood in your body to make your cheeks color in such a deep red color. Knowing that it would worry him even more if you’d be wearing make up than if you’d look like this you just walked back into the bedroom and quickly searched for a nice outfit which was also comfortable. A dress was a complete no go and a tight jeans was extremely uncomfortable during these kind of moments. 

Eventually you chose for a nice fitting jeans, which wasn’t too tight around your hips and to cover everything up combined a very charming top with it. After walking toward the night stand and grabbing the necklace he had given to you during your first anniversary you grabbed the glass that was standing there as well and decided that I’d be better to take another pill before you’d leave the house. The pain was a little bit better than it had been before but it was still horrible. You looked down on your watch and noticed that you still had a little time left before Baekhyun would come over and so you lay back down on the bed. Those showers could do miracles but another thing they did was making you very sleepy. Combine a warm and relaxing shower with the state your body was currently in, the meds you had taken on a very short amount of time and the fact that you had barely slept last night and then you know what you’ve got. Laying down had been a very bad idea because what had only supposed to be a few minutes had turned into a few hours, after you had fallen asleep…

…It wasn’t the loud thud that woke you up from your slumber, it was the soft curse that followed soon after
