“So, he left?” She asked and you shot her a look before rolling your eyes at her. You grabbed your book and searched for your diary to find out where you had left off and turned the pages. “Yes, he left two days ago.” You said, reminding yourself that you had to be friendly and had to answer her, though you actually didn’t want to talk about it. The weekend was over and you weren’t sure if Monday was your favorite day of the week, it surely wasn’t the one of your students. But you knew you were lucky, there were teachers here who had to go through a much harder time than you. You had graduated two years ago and you were now teaching on a high school, the seconds grade. Of course you were young and you didn’t have a lot of experience, but you could handle your students. Because of your age you could easily communicate with them, after all you had been in their shoes not such a long time ago. They knew that they would trust you and that they would talk to you, you understood them better than the older generation. You had been able to find a fun and outgoing way to bring your lecture to your students, and they seemed to like that. 

You sat down on the edge of your desk and crossed your arms over your chest as you looked at her. Sulli and you had gone to the same college together and you had both chosen for the same career. The two of you had both gotten a job at the same high school and now you were colleagues, you had been friends ever since. “You know how busy he is. I don’t want to be the one who keeps him from chasing his dream.” You explained to her with a firm voice, which told her that you weren’t up for a discussion, but you knew she wouldn’t understand. It had been a surprise to a lot of people when you had become a couple back then.
