“Are you nervous?” You asked him as you squeezed his hand, feeling your excitement rise through you. It was almost as if the feeling became bigger with every second that passed and somehow you loved it. You had been looking forward towards this point for a very long time and you couldn’t help it that it made you feel thrilled. Baekhyun hummed vaguely, his eyes squeezing together ever so slightly behind his sunglasses which he had put on as soon as he had gotten inside of the car. It was cold, yet sun was shining brightly today. For you that was a sign which told you that something good was about to happen. It had caused you to wake up with a bright smile onto your face, enjoying the fact that for once it wasn’t raining. You knew that he wasn’t being this quiet because he didn’t want to be here with you, but that he was just a little bit twitchy about this entire situation. He didn’t want to miss this, but still he wasn’t quite sure if he was supposed to be here. Ever since he had found out you were pregnant and you hadn’t broken up with him because you didn’t love him anymore but because you thought it was what was best fro him, he had kept his promise. He took care of you in the best way possible, made sure you were comfortable and gave you all the attention you needed. Actually he had just been the best boyfriend and future father you could have asked for. At this point you were so happy you had decided to keep him in your life instead of going through with your plan and kicking him out of it. 

Of course, you had been ferocious at your friend because she had told him while you had asked her not to say anything. But none of you could deny the fact that she had done it to help you and that just like you, she had only wanted to do what was best. In this case, all three of you just seemed to have a slightly different opinion about what that ‘best’ part contained. Though, the most important thing at this moment was that everybody seemed happy. Still, you were glad that Baekhyun had taken a official break from his career, and had shoved his productions with exo towards the side so he could take care of you. s all seemed to understand, they were supportive and sweet. His fans were separated into three big groups. Firstly of all, the ones who were over the moon about the fact that their bias was becoming a father and was having a child, who were happy that he was happy. Then, there were the ones who actually didn’t really care and who just went along with their life like it had always been. But surely, there were also the ones who were anything but pleased with the big news, and who hated you even more fiercely than they had done before you had ended up pregnant. Baekhyun told you not to worry about them and to ignore them, which you tried. Though, it wasn’t always easy to pretend not to see it when a nasty comment would show up on your social media or your tumblr page would be filled with trashy words about you. 

You tried no to stress too much, because it wasn’t good for the baby. But sometimes you still thought about how things would have been if you hadn’t forgotten to take that pill, and if things had just gone on the way they had been. Maybe they would have been easier, but then you wouldn’t have been this excited at this very moment, looking forward to what was about to happen in just a few minutes. Your boyfriend silently parked the car on a free spot and released a big sigh before taking off his glasses and turning his head to look at you. Ever since he become less active with exo he looked less exhausted than he had done before. He slept longer, ate whatever he wanted whenever he wanted and was able to enjoy simple afternoons on the couch. He never did that before, so it was definitely a new challenge in your relationship, to have him around this much. Not that you were complaining, you loved it that he was home all the time, it actually made you feel a little bit normal for once. “So, are you ready?” He asked as he studied your face, as if he was looking for a single sign that showed him that you were just as jumpy as he was. But he wasn’t going to find anything, because all you could feel was excitement. You grabbed his hand in both of yours and bounced up and down on top of your lap a few times like a little child, yet you didn’t care how idiotic you looked. “We’re finally going to know if we’re getting a boy or a girl! Isn’t that amazing! This is going to be incredible! We can finally start decorating the bedroom and start buying baby clothes.” 

It was as if your ebullience was contagious because it only took seconds before a grin broke out on his face and he nodded. He seemed happy to see that you were happy and he quickly leaned forward to place a gentle peck on your lips before getting out of the car. He casually walked around to get towards your door and pulled it open before helping you out. Even though you didn’t really have a belly yet, just a really small bump as a proof of your pregnancy and you could do all of this by yourself just fine
