A cold wind cut straight through your clothes and you shivered while unknowingly shifting closer to your boyfriend. It had seemed like a great idea when the members of exo had invited you along on their group activity. You had never been skying before and you had always wanted to learn it, so this had seemed like the perfect moment. Though it was much colder than you had expected it to be and skying wasn’t as easy as you had hoped. After going face first into the snow for over ten times you had lost the fun in all of this and you stayed on top of the hill where the others were rolling in the white blanket. You found yourself able to crack a little smile as you ignored your frozen toes and painful fingers, but your heart warmed to the sound of hearing him having that much fun on his day off. The only thing you had wanted was to spend this time with him, and that had worked out. Right now you were longing for some hot coco and a blanket which would warm your body but you didn’t want to be the party pooper and call this to an end. Maybe they would be able to sense it themselves if they would notice how dark the blue sky had become and how misty it was getting. Your eyes wandered around the snowy hill and you could see that most of the other people who had been around were starting to pack their things and go home. The thought that they were about to jump in a nice and comfortable car and turn up the heating made you feel a little bit jealous of them. There were many things you would sacrifice for a little bit of warmth right now. “Are you cold?” Baekhyun asked and when you turned your head to look at him you could see that he had given you his full attention and his eyes were gazing at you. When you saw the happy lights inside of his eyes you immediately felt guilty for all your selfish thoughts and you wished you could take them back. Your heart trembled when he picked up both of your hands and brought them towards his lips so he could blow some warm air on them.

There was a part of you that told you that you should try to hide how you felt but he knew you too well for that. He was able to read you like an open book, sometimes he understood you better than you understood yourself. Everyone knew that he could be a real pain in the sometimes, and that he was a true tease, but apart from that he could also be very sweet to a person he really cared about. He took the effort to notice all the small things in your behavior, like the way your brows furred when you were about to get angry, or how you shoulders sunk when you were sad, or like right now when you tried to hide that you were freezing while you were practically shaking. “Come here.” He said before he laid his arm around your shoulder and he pulled you closer to his side, making you feel his body heat from underneath his thick coat. On his face there was a content smile as he cuddled you against him and looked back at s. It surprised you that he actually stayed here with you at the sidelines instead of going to join them. But he had seen how you had suffered through the day to keep track of them and you liked it that he was making free time for you now. The thought that he had another schedule to go to tomorrow made you feel sad, but at least you had been able to spend this afternoon with him, although it hadn’t gone exactly the way you had wanted it to. The most important thing was that he was holding you right now and that you could feel his body mold against yours on top of a mountain. Actually this all could have been very romantic, if there hadn’t been a few other guys making weird faces at you because of your current situation. They still had the urge to pester you with your relationship, even though you had been together for a while now. “So cute! Baekhyun, hug me too!” Chanyeol shouted from his spot and you grinned before sticking out your tongue at the other boy, seeing how it made him laugh.
