A deep frown draws on the younger girl’s forehead as the ray of light from hits her puffy eyes. She sniff and sniff while her tears continuously dripping off her red eyes.

“Mom..” the little girls called out with a shaky voice.

“Yuri can you stop crying?” An irritated voiced roared in the car. Yuri look up and flinch after meeting her mother’s angry eyes.

“You never listen to me Yuri. Shut it!”

“I’m sorry!”

“It was an accident Yuri. Forget about it.” The older woman soften and glance at the younger girl at the rear view mirror.

Playing with her shaking fingers, Yuri sniff again then glance at her ipod.

“Can I go with you Mom? Promise  I’ll be a good gir---”

“We already talk about this Yuri. No is a No. Can you listen to me just this once?”

In that instant, the sudden burst of anger once again filled the car. The younger girl flinch in her seat and muffled her whimper. Yuri stayed quite, pressing her shaking lips as she blinks her eyes couple of times to prevent herself from crying. Crying will make things worst for her. With her shaky hands, Yuri tap her lap while looking at the cars around them, trying to divert her attention.

“Were here now Yuri, hurry up.”

Yuri sadly gulp and hop off the car. Looking at the house in front of her then look back to face her. “Mom?”

“You will stay with your Auntie for the mean time. I want you to be at your best behavior, okay?”

Yuri closed her eyes and shook her head.

“Listen, I love you Yul but Mom needs to go away for awhile. Promise, I’ll come back soon.”

“Mom, sorry. I didn’t mean to leave---”

“Enough. I said it was an accident. Now, let’s go.” The older woman rough drag the crying tan girl and went inside the house.

“Why are you crying Honey?”

Yuri shook her head, tears spilling out from her red and puffy eyes. The latter kneeled down and softly lift Yuri’s face to face her.

“You know Auntie don’t want to see you crying right?”

Yuri’s lips started to shake, as she’s holding herself from bursting out in tears.

“OH!my poor baby. Come here.”

Yuri was pulled into a tight hug, causing the tan girl to set her tears free as she wailed loudly hugging the older woman tight. Yuri’s mother walk towards the duo and coax her daughter.

“Kahi, thank you for doing this.” Hyori muttered while caressing Yuri’s back. Kahi stood up with Yuri in her arms and face the other older woman.

“Are you sure about this?” Kahi curiously asked her best friend. The other woman sadly nod her head and eyed her daughter who’s still sobbing loudly.

“That bastard blame her.” Hyori use her lips pointing at the crying tan girl then continued, “He was so busy with his mistress that he become irresponsible then here he is putting the blame on our 12 years old daughter.”  Hyori softly muttered, not wanting the crying girl to clearly hear what she confided.

“It was an accident Hyori.” Kahi reasoned out, bothered about the situation.

“I know but he’s stupid and you know that.” Hyori answered then beam a tight smile at the man walking towards them.

“Hyori.”

“Daniel.” The duo casually greeted each other.

“Yuri..” A high pitch voice roared in the scene.

“What’s wrong?” The other girl asked and Yuri just sadly jutted her lips and shook her head in response then buried her sulking wet face back again in Kahi’s neck.

“How can you leave your daughter in here---”

Kahi immediately shut her husband by stepping on the latter’s foot.

“What?” Daniel angrily asked then turn back again to face Hyori, who’s now hanging her head low.

“She’s only 12 years old, lost her sister then here you are leaving her. How’s that to be for Yuri’s own good?” Daniel angrily exclaim. Kahi closed her eyes and step forward and face her husband.

“Can you bring Yuri inside the house, please!!” Kahi raised her left eye brow and strictly eyed her husband. Daniel heave in defeat and glance at Hyori.

“Yul Honey go to your uncle for a minute okay?”

Kahi sweetly muttered,caressing Yuri’s wet cheeks. The tan girl softly nod her head and went to Daniel.

“Princess let’s go.” Daniel exclaim, calling out his daughter.

As the trio is gone, Kahi face her best friend and sadly sigh.

“Hey!”

“I don’t know what happen Kahi. How did it happen? I don’t know, its driving me crazy!” Hyori finally broke down. Kahi aided and hug the other woman.

“I know, no matter what I’ll say, it won’t change a thing nor will ease the pain you’re bearing right now but remember you still have Yuri Hyori. She needs you more than ever right now.”

“I can’t see her. Every time I see her, everything is coming at me all at once. I know if she’s with you, she’ll be alright. I am so grateful to you for doing this. Thank you!” Hyori sincerely muttered,squeezing Kahi’s hands.

“You will come back to get Yuri right?”

Pressing her lips shut, Hyori sadly beam a smile then nod her head in response. Kahi coax the other woman, feeling the agony of her best friend.

While on the other hand, Daniel showed his new car to Yuri knowing the tan girl is so fascinated with cars. Looking at the tan girl’s eyes that slowly portraying a glimpse of light, he can’t help but to feel sorry for the said tan girl.

“I will take care of you Yuri.” Daniel thought eyeing Yuri running her palms against the side of his car.

After that day, Yuri never see nor heard anything about her mother nor her father. Locking her eyes at the door, hoping and wishing her parents will appear and take her with them but unfortunately, the sun already set and there’s no sigh of her parents at all.

“Why are you crying again?”

Yuri buried her tired head against the latter’s chest, as she close her eyes. She then realized how tired her eyes are after feeling the heaviness of her eyes.

“Daddy and Mommy will be home soon.”

“Sica, am I a bad girl?”

The other girl raise her both brows and innocently shook her head.

“Why my parents leave me?”

Once again, the other girl shook her head.

“Sica are you gonna leave me too?”

“No...” Jessica responded immediately, drawing a smile on Yuri’s tired face.

“Don’t leave me okay?”

Jessica nod her head and hug the tan girl as the duo comfortably snuggle each other while watching random movie while waiting for Jessica’s parents to come home.
