Haneul practically lived her life in the hospital room. She went to school daily, but now no one dared to even talk bad about her after what happened to those bullies. They were arrested and sued by Junhyung’s company. Fans were enraged when the report came out. They went his school and demanded for a public apology from the school to be made to Junhyung, in which they did.

The boys also made it very clear that Haneul was now part of them and that they would not let anyone who tries to bully her off so easily. Despite that, there were still a small fraction of fans that were unhappy at the fact their Junhyung oppa was ‘taken’, but their hatred for those who landed him in this state was even bigger than their hatred towards Haneul.

Ever since Junhyung went into a coma, the boys were very protective of Haneul. Wherever she wanted to go, they would all volunteer to accompany her, but every time she would turn down their offer. She didn’t her presence to burden their life.

Fans crowd outside the hospital every day, in hope to receive first hand news when Junhyung finally wakes up. But when he never woke up after some time, the amount of fans decreased. The boys thought it was a good thing that they continued to live their life instead of hogging outside the hospital. 

Despite all the drama going on, Haneul couldn’t be bothered. Her only concern now was her Junhyung.

When Junhyung never woke up after a week, the doctor feared that he would never wake up again. The boys feared that Haneul would collapse when she heard about it, but she proved them wrong. She was all smiles and she lived her life as per normal. She never shed another tear after the promise she made to herself that day. It wasn’t that she wasn’t feeling upset over the whole incident, but she knew Junhyung would never want to see her cry.

 “Hi Love~” Haneul said in a sing-song tone as she walked into the hospital room.

She flicked Junhyung on his forehead before laughing and planting a kiss over it.

“Today marks the third month you’ve been asleep. You really can sleep, can you?” She said, putting her bag down.

“Are you sure you’re a Dragon? You are a pig! Dwaeji (pig) Junhyung~” She laughed as she massaged his fingers.

“I’m so bored~” She said, making the two soft toys dance on Junhyung’s stomach.

“Look at you!” She suddenly exclaimed.

“You’re even fairer than me now!! How can it be like this!?” She screamed, comparing her skin colour with his.

“Tsk tsk tsk~ Should we grill you?” She said, resting her head against his arm.

“Junnie ah~ I love you, you know?” She said, playing with his fingers.

“Yah~ Mr Dwaeji, the doctor says you’re well already you know. The moment you wake up you can even run a marathon, but I doubt that because you’re lazy hehehe~ But that’s not my point. My point is, when are you going to wake up? Are you really going to sleep forever? What if when you wake up you don’t recognize me anymore because I became too old?” She said as she washed his face.

“So smooth~” She mumbled as she touched his cheek.

“So jealous.” She made a face at him.

“Wake up already or I’ll leave your beard unshaved.” She said.

She washed his face, shaved him and applied moisturizer for him.

“Summer will be over in a few days. Thank God. It’s been so freaking hot. Good for you! Sleeping here all day long!” She said, sitting down on the chair beside him with her legs up across his thighs.

“Autumn is my favourite month, you know?” She said, clipping his nails.

“Do you remember Autumn? I remember it really well.” She continued.

“If it weren’t because of you, I doubt I would ever be happy here. Really! So you better wake up soon.” She said.

“The weather is so hot I’m getting a headache.” She said, massaging her temples.

“I miss your massages. Actually, I miss you.” She mumbled, drifting off into sleep on the chair.

While Haneul continued with her life, Beast continued with their promotions and all without Junhyung, but every day, they made it a point to come visit him. The MBLAQ boys came occasionally too. The two groups were like each other’s pillar of strength. It was a hard period of time, but no one gave up, because Junhyung is still fighting.
