Junhyung's POV

“Hello, Darling.” I said as I entered the bookstore.

“Darling? Where are you?” I called out as I looked around.

The bookstore was empty but the lights were on and it was open. Where did Haneul go to?

“Haneul Dear.” I called out.

“Where did she go to?” I mumbled to myself.

I felt a tug on my sleeve and I turned around.

“AHHHHHHH!!” She shouted.

“AHHHHHHH!!” I yelled back in shock.

I was about to say something when she covered my mouth.

She the music and the instrumental for “Thanks To” came on.

“The one thing that I want to tell you the most. Always, we always singing just for you. Thank you, the one who’s always been protecting us by our side” She started singing.

I smiled like an idiot and played along with her.

“You,” She pointed at me.

“You,” I pointed back

“You.” She poked my chest.

“It’s you,” I pinched her cheeks.

“Thank you,” She smiled.

“Thank you,” I bowed a little.

“For you.” She opened her palms in front of me.

“Just thank you everybody, thanks to ma fans. What can I say, I don’t know if I’ll be able express my feelings but I’ll write one word at a time, and keep on writing, and try to fit it into this short track to try to communicate myself to you.” I rapped, grabbing a bunch of pens from the side to use as a mic.

“The love and care that we have received from you, to the point that it’s even flooding us as of now, I won’t be able to return all 100% of it but, Still, I hope that you will be able to feel a part of it.” I continued.

She waved the Donald Duck in her hand like a fan girl.

“Yeah, the ones who let the unworthy, six fools stand on stage. The ones who placed the utmost precious microphone into our hands, was you, and so Today, I’m still rocking’ this stage, I’m flying like a G6. It feels just like I’m flying in the sky. Like I’ve fallen into a happy dream, like a child, flying through the air with our hands clasped you and me together.” I rapped, trying to be as serious as possible.

She imitated an airplane and started ‘flying’ all around the bookstore, climbing onto the tables and chairs. I held onto her hand as I rapped to prevent her from falling.

“The one thing that I want to tell you the most Always, we always singing just for you. Thank you, the one who’s always been protecting us by our side.” She sang, standing on the table and looking into my eyes. I never knew she could sing. Her voice is… Wow.

“You.” She poked my forehead.

“You.” I poked the tip of her nose

“You.” She put her finger at my lips.

“It’s you.” I kissed her hand.

“Thank you,” She looked away blushing.

“Thank you,” I sang.

“For you.” She bit her bottom lip, smiling widely.

“Even if I find myself exhausted, as long as I’m with you.” I rapped.

“It’s alright, it’s alright.” She sat down on the table as she sang.

“Even if we’re being separated far away, if we can feel each other.” I lean in closer to her.

“It’s all good, it’s all good.” She wrapped her arms over my neck.

“So fly, so fly.” She flapped her hands like a bird.

“If your heart in front of me right now is true.” I poked her chest where the heart is.

“Thank you, thank you.” She smiled, rubbing the Duckie into my face.

“Like a paper and pen and beat and mic.” She took one of my pens.

“Even if we’re being separated far away, we will feel each other in our hearts,” I cupped her cheeks.

“Your so unconditional love.” She whispered into my ear.

“During this one year which has been so long and short, it seems like we’ve become pretty close.” I smiled.

“Sometimes, you’re like a blanket that envelopes me.” She wrapped her legs around my waist as she sang.

“You’re like home, you’re like a friend, sometimes you’re like family.” I rested my head against her chest.

“Please stay forever by my side.” I sang, stealing her phrase.

“Together, together,” I rapped.

“Just two of us,” She sang.

“Let’s create a hidden road,” I rapped.

“Like Columbus.” She said with a smile.

“If I’m with you, is there anything I can’t do? Even if I fall 100 times, I’ll be able to get up again.” I rapped.

“Always I sing the song for ya, if you want it,” She sang, pinching my cheeks.

“I’ll sing for you like an iPod.” I smiled.

“I always thank you everybody, let’s go.” She turned my head, pointing to the door.

“You,” She poked the Duckie.

“You.” I poked her chest.

“You.” She poked the Duckie again.

“It’s you.” I poked the Duckie too.

“Thank you.” She smiled, making the Duckie nod its head.

“Thank you.” I pinched her nose lightly.

“For you.” She poked my sides, causing me to jump.

“Even if I find myself exhausted, as long as I’m with you,” I pushed her fringe out of her face.

“It’s alright, it’s alright,” She touched my cheeks lightly.

“Even if we’re being separated far away, if we can feel each other,” I pouted my lips, wanting a kiss from her.

“It’s all good, it’s all good.” She made the Duckie kiss me instead.

“Even if I find myself exhausted, as long as I’m with you,” I pouted.

“So fly, so fly” She flapped my arms this time.

“Thank you, thank you.” I stole her phrase again, ending the song.

We stared at each other and started laughing.

“You’re full of surprises.” I said, pulling her closer to me.

“Well, I was in the mood.” She said.

“HAPPY JUNSEOB DAY!” She suddenly shouted.

“Hahahaha! How did you know?” I asked, hugging her waist.

“Well, it’s all over the Internet. Besides, I like this song.” She said.

“You do? You like it because of me, right?” I said.

“No. Actually, my biases are Yoseob, Dongwoon, Kikwang, Hyunseung and Doojoon.” She said, jumping off the table.

“HOW ABOUT YONG JUNHYUNG!?” I pulled her back.

“Yong what? Who is that?” She said.

“You don’t know? I’ll make you know.” I pushed her onto the floor and started tickling her.

She laughed and kicked wildly. She tried to grab my hands but I was obviously stronger.

“Do you know Yong Junhyung!?” I asked.

“WHO IS THAT!?” She laughed.

“Seems like you don’t know yet.” I tickled her more.

“Do you know already!?” I asked again.

“Ah yes yes!! Junhyung! Junhyung!!” She laughed.

“Who is he!?” I asked.

“The naggy one!” She stuck out her tongue.

“WHAT!?” I continued tickling her.

“MY ULTIMATE BIAS!!!” She shouted.

“Again?” I stopped.

“The naggy one!” She laughed, pushing me away and rolling to the other side.

Before I could get her, she jumped onto my back and grabbed my neck.

“How dare you huh!” She said.

“Ahhh sorry!” I whined.

“Sorry only!?” She grabbed my neck harder.

I coughed and pretended to choke, but of course such tricks wouldn’t work on her.

I stood up with her on my back.

“Princess, shall we go eat Ddeokbokki ?” I asked.

“Sounds good. QUICK! GO!!” She slapped my arm.

I walked out of the bookstore, carrying her on my back.

“Darling~” I called out.

“Mmm?” She said, playing with my hair.

“Thank you for the surprise.” I said.

“Don’t think I’ll let you off so easily just because you said thank you.” She said.

“I wasn’t thinking of that. It’s sincere. OWW!!!” I whined when she pulled my hair.

“WALK FASTER!!!” She yelled.

“Okay okay!” I quicken my pace.

“RUN!!!” She shouted.

“YES!!!” I ran.

“AHHH stop stop!! It’s scary.” She hugged my neck.

“Ah? What? Scary? Stop? NO!” I teased as I ran faster.

“AHHHH!!! STOP!!!!” She pulled my ears.

“Okay okay. Don’t cry.” I laughed.

“Idiot!” She kicked my stomach.

“Oww.. Let’s enjoy the walk okay?” I said, walking slowly.

“Happy Junseob Day.” She said again suddenly.

“Thank you.” I said.

“Sounds weird. Junseob~” She said.

“Why? Are you jealous?” I asked.

“No. Why would I be?” She said.

“We could be Juneul or Hanung if you want.” I said.

“Eww..” She made a weird noise.

“What eww!?” I protested.

“Just shut up and walk. So noisy even the crickets are awoken by your voice.” She said.

“How do you know the crickets sleep?” I asked.

“I just know!” She covered my mouth, preventing me from talking.

The things she does are so surprising. I truly never expected her to do something like this. I am curious to know what other surprises is she capable of doing. And at the same time, I wonder what I can do for her to make her feel special like how she makes me feel.
