The idea of a letter from a celebrity seems very suicide-ish, from my point of view. Maybe it is, maybe it is not. When I say suicide-ish, I don’t mean that I’m going to die. I’m talking about my career. So at the end of the letter, that is if you actually finish reading it, you will tell me if this is suicide-ish or not, okay?

I am not going to beat about the bush. I’m going straight to the point. You know, the Joker doesn’t like to talk in circles. Oh, maybe he do. I don’t know. I just know I’m going in circles now. Okay. Here it is. I’m getting married.

I’m sorry, but it isn’t to Yoseob or Hyunseung or Doojoon or Kikwang or Dongwoon or Seungho hyung. I’m getting married to the girl who gave me life. Not my mom, if you’re gasping now. When I say life, I mean, the real life. The one you live, the one that lets you experience pain and happiness.

If you’re still straining your mind to wonder who she is, don’t. We’ll show ourselves to you all soon. If you’re planning on hunting her down to hurt her, please don’t. Because that would make me really upset.

Don’t crush this letter up yet please. Hear me out, would you? *ppuing ppuing* I’m trying my best at aegyo, but it’s really just Seungho hyung’s standard.

I come from an ‘okay’ family, you know, mother, father and one sibling, but I grew up pretty lonely. I only had my brother as a playmate. As the older brother, I am automatically the 'role model’ for him to follow *and it , really*. Anything that goes wrong, it’s pretty much my fault anyway. I wasn’t close with my parents, therefore if I turn the tables with my brother, I have no one. 

After becoming a celebrity, I felt more love than ever. The love B2utys gave to us was overwhelming, so much to at some point I don’t exactly know how to handle it. It is like, out of a sudden, no one hates Yong Junhyung anymore. Doing something I love and being love for it, it’s paradise, really. And I owe it to all of you. We owe it to all of you. Without B2utys, none of this would have been possible. I would never be able to stand on stage and chant ‘saranghae’ like some fool and get cheers for it. The six of us would not be able to stand on stage and behave as thou we’re in some sort of playground and still get loved for it. Thank you.

But you see, things like this will come to an end some day. As much as the six of us wish that Beast will be everlasting, you and I both know that there will come a day Beast would be too old to even walk up the stage, I would be too breathless to even rap ‘saranghae saranghae saranghae’.

We all need someone in our life. I’m lonely, no doubt. Yes, even with all these going on, I’m lonely. But after she came into my life, it is like she filled the empty spot. I’m not trying to hurt anyone by saying this, I just want to be honest with my feelings. She filled the empty spot that no amount of cheers or love from fans can fill, not even my family or the boys can fill. It is just different. She is different. She completed me.

She is not a perfect girl. She has her traits and flaws like all of us do. She has a temper, she eats a lot of ice cream, she laughs loudly *sometimes too loudly plus a whole lot of hand gestures like slapping my arm*, she has that laser glare *almost as laser-ish as Seungho hyung's*, she is clumsy, she is forgetful, she vents her anger, she nags, she restricts me from having more than a can of Coke *I'm sad :(*, sometimes she behaves like my mother, but I think it's just in a woman to do so, she can be very caring and very unbothered at the same time. She's a mix breed of a lion and a rabbit. She is human. She is not perfect, but she's perfect for me. 

But this does not mean I cannot see B2utys. I can see each one of you *not literally thou. I have bad eyesight and sometimes the stage lights are too strong. Sorry ><*, and I thank you for the love you gave me that I do not deserve at all. I thank you. I solemnly thank you for everything; your time, your effort, your love.

There will come a day where B2utys would find a special someone who loves her and get married too. By then, Beast may or may not be around anymore. But one thing for sure, whether Beast still exist by the time B2utys get married, B2utys will always have Beast’s blessings and best wishes.

Likewise now, I hope B2utys would give my girl and me their best wishes. I hope that B2utys would understand from my lonely point of view and see the completed me, because of her. Thank you B2utys, for always sticking by the six of us through thick and thin. You do not know how those small gestures such as handing me a can of Coke and telling me ‘you’ve worked hard’ meant to me.

As I end this letter, I wish B2utys would also go out and find someone who she love and would love her back twice as much. However, as you have your fun with that special someone, please know that Beast would always be here singing for you in good times and bad times.

P.S. So is my decision suicide-ish? But honestly, even if it is, I’m going to do it anyway. I guess this is one of the crazy things people do for love. You will jump head first into concrete despite knowing you will end up in your own pool of blood. It is so scary and beautiful at the same time.

Junhyung wrote over twenty copies of the letter by hand and sent it to every Korean media as well as fan clubs in Korea and the international ones he know of. His letter was published together with the headlines:

Beast’s rapper Yong Junhyung getting married

Beast’s rapper Yong Junhyung would be getting married to his long-time girlfriend, now fiancée. In his hand-written letter, he explained his loneliness and how she completed him. Their wedding would be in three months.

The morning reception and ring exchange ceremony will be reserve for family and close friends. At night, there would be event for families, friends and ten-thousand fans to attend. Details of event have not been disclosed yet but interested fans can send in their name, address and contact number to CUBE Entertainment.

Yong Junhyung and his fiancée would randomly handpick the ten-thousand fans. The chosen fans would receive invitation cards with full details as to where and when the event is happening.  

We wish Yong Junhyung and his fiancée all the best in their new marriage.

Haneul’s POV

I shut the cover of the laptop and turn to Junhyung who had his grinning face stuck in my face.

“What?” I asked.

“How is that?” He asked.

“The way the media wrote it or your letter?” I asked.

“Both.” He said.

“The media is obviously in favour of you.” I smiled.

“And the letter?” He asked.

“Not bad.” I said.

“NOT BAD!? That’s all?” He asked.

“What do you want me to say? The letter is not for me, and you pointed out all my flaws. I didn't know I had so much. Thank you.” I said.

“Awww sorry~ But say something nice, at least. My hands hurt you know?” He pouted, showing me his palms.

Indeed, he had some blisters here and there on his fingers

“Very, very touching and sincere. I would have agreed and bless you if I were a B2uty.” I smiled, kissing his palms.

“Aren’t you a B2uty!?” He asked.

“No.” I laughed, walking off.

“Then what are you!?” He asked, running after me.

“I’m nothing!” I yelled back.

“No, no! You have to be something!” He caught me by my waist, not allowing me to move.

“I’m nothing!!” I laughed.

“Say!!” He demanded.

“I’m… I’m… I’m Haneul!!” I said.

“NO!!!” He pouted.

“Who are you to tell me I’m not Haneul!?” I laughed.

“You’re Haneul! But you’re… you’re… TSK!” He let me go, pouting.

“I’m Haneul. And…” I smiled at him.

“And what?” He asked.

“And…” I whispered into his ear.

He blushed and covered his face, fanning himself like a lunatic.

“One more thing, Junroro.” I said.

“What?” He giggled.

“Don’t ever try to pick up aegyo skills from Seungho. It is all wrong! He is just.. Stiff… He looks weird. Don’t learn like him. Go to Yoseob. Seungho is a very good example of ‘aegyo gone wrong’.”  I said.

He nodded, laughing still.

“Are you that happy!?” I asked.

He nodded.

All I said was ‘I’m a quarter-time B2uty, part-time Jester, and full-time Mrs Yong Junhyung.’
