Junhyung’s POV

My phone alarm vibrated and I woke up reluctantly. I sat up and turned to Haneul who was still in dreamland. I poke her cheek lightly before going to wash up. After I was done, I checked the time. It was 6.30AM. I let her sleep a little while more before going to wake her up.

“Darling~ Wake up.” I whispered.

She didn’t respond.

“Darling~” I called again.

She moved a little, but didn’t seem to be awake.

“Darling~ Wake up please.” I said.

“Mmm?” She opened her eyes slightly.

“Good morning.” I smiled at her.

She covered her face and turned away.

“Wake up.” I said.

“Why? What time is it?” She asked.

“7AM.” I said.

“You’re crazy!” She whined.

I pulled her up, hugging her tight.

“Wake up already, sleepyhead.” I said.

“What is your problem?” She whined.

“I want to bring you to places. That’s my problem.” I said.

“Don’t you ever sleep!?” She shouted.

“Come on, wakey wakey.” I poked her.

“I’ll wake up at 7.30AM. Please. Let me sleep for awhile more.” She pleaded.

I sighed and let her lie back down. She mumbled something before falling asleep again. I guess I shouldn’t be pushing her so much. I sat on the couch and stared out at the mountains.

Haneul’s POV

I forced myself up despite feeling really sleepy. I looked at the time, it was 7.45AM. I saw Junhyung sitting on the couch, staring outside.

“Jun.” I called him, but he didn’t respond.

I got off bed and walked to the couch. I looked over to find him asleep.

“You’re tired too, aren’t you?” I covered the blanket over him and let him lean against the pillow so he wouldn’t get a sore neck when he wakes up.

“What is your problem lately?” I whispered.

I went to wash up and when I was done, he was still asleep. I sat down beside him, putting my arm over his shoulders to let him lean against me. He opened his eyes slightly and looked at me.

“Opps~ Did I wake you?” I asked.

He shook his head and sat up.

“You’re tired, but why aren’t you sleeping?” I asked him.

“Because I want to spend more time with you.” He said.

“But we have a lot of time together.” I said.

He shrugged his shoulders and smiled.

“Where are you taking me?” I asked, looking out of the window.

“To somewhere.” He said.

“Quit being so mysterious!” I said.

“It’s call surprise. Have you never heard of it before?” He asked.

“No, I've never.” I said.

“Good. You’re not only going to hear about it now, you’re going to experience it as well.” He said.

The ride was a pretty long one. He kept yawning throughout the drive but didn’t want to let me take over.

“Why not we stop for awhile?” I suggested.

“Why? We’re reaching soon.” He said.

“Are you out to kill yourself?” I asked.

“Huh? No.” He laughed.

“We’re here.” He said, after half an hour or so.

“Where is this place?” I asked, getting out of the car.

“It’s a park.” He said.

“Park!? You drove so long just to take us to a park!?” I asked.

“It’s not just a normal park! It’s a really nice park!” He said.

I looked at him in disbelieve.

“You’ll see.” He said, grabbing my hand as well as a really huge bag.

“What’s inside? A corpse?” I asked sarcastically.

“Shhh~ It’sKikwang.” He whispered.

“Huh? But why Kikwang?” I whispered back.

“He’s too dumb. I got pissed off and accidently you know~” He whispered.

“Oh~” I smiled.

“Ya. Shhh~” He laughed.

“This isn’t a park! It’s a freaking hiking course!” I panted as we climbed higher.

“I told you its special.” He winked at me.

“Let me carry the bag.” I said, taking it from him.

“It’s fine.” He said, pulling it back.

“We should take turns, or carry it together.” I said.

“We shouldn’t.” He smiled.

“Why are you so stubborn?” I pouted.

“Don’t know. Why?” He asked.

“Tsk!” I rolled my eyes at him and walked ahead.

“YAH! Stay close to me! I don’t want you to go missing!” He grabbed my hand and held me really close to him.

“How do we walk like this!?” I shouted.

“Just walk!” He covered my mouth and pulled me along.

“What is this place again?” I asked while we walked.

“A park?” He said.

“Ya, but it does have a name, doesn’t it?” I said.

“Odaesan.” He said

I repeated the name a few times as I looked around.

The air got colder as we headed up and our surroundings were covered in snow.

“Is that a waterfall!?” I asked excitedly.

“Yeap.” He said.

“Wah! We can go and play in there!” I said.

He looked at me with a frown.

“We can’t?” I asked.

“We can, but not in Winter.” He said.

“But why!? It’s like showering! We shower in Winter too.” I said.

“Ya, but we don’t shower in the open, right?” He said.

“Right~ Fine.” I pouted.

We continued to hike up.

“Oh my gosh! Are we there yet!?” I grumbled.

“Just one more flight of stairs.” He pointed.

“One more!?” I pouted at him.

“I’ll piggy back you up.” He sat, getting down on his knees.

“No no. I’ll walk.” I pulled him up.

We walked held hands and forced ourselves up. When we arrived at the peak, we both collapsed onto the snow.

“AHHHHHH WE’RE FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I yelled.

“YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He laughed.

“IT’S SO PRETTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I shouted, running to the edge.

“Be careful!” He shouted.

He came over and hugged me from behind, resting his chin on my shoulder.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” He asked.

“Very. Although the hike was a killer, but it’s worth it.” I said.

“I’ll piggy back you down.” He said.

“What’s with you and piggy backing these days?” I asked, leaning against him.

“Don’t know.” He kissed my cheek.

“Let’s stay like this for awhile.” He whispered.

We stood at our spot, admiring the scenery. After awhile, we went back to where he left our bag. He opened the bag and pulled out stuff like a portable stove, foldable stool, water, bowls, spoons, chopsticks, kimchi, ramen and other food.

“What happened to Kikwang?!” I asked.

“He became food for a better cause.” He laughed.

“Oh my god. We’re going to eat him?” I asked.

“Yea. I guess so. Hopefully we don’t become stupid.” He said.

“You’re so mean! Kikwang is cute!” I said.

“Isn’t Yong Junhyung cuter?” He asked, handing me a cup of hot tea.

“Junhyung is the cutest.” I said, pinching his cheek.

“That’s of course.” He said.

I sat at the side watching him cook the ramen.

“Let me help you. Then you wouldn’t have to be out in the cold for so long.” I said, taking the packet of noodles from him.

“It’s amazing how you even pack kimchi.” I said.

“Of course.” He smiled.

We squatted over the pot, watching the noodle cook.

“Sit down.” I said, shoving the stool under his .

“Omo! Yah~ You scared me. And this stool is for you.” He said.

“Just sit and shut up.” I said.

“But it’s for you.” He said.

“I’ll sit on the ground. You know I like it better.” I said.

“I know, but it’s cold.” He said.

“Just listen to me.” I shove a piece of kimchi into his mouth.

When the noodles were ready, he scooped them out into two respective bowls and handed one to me.

“Becareful, it’s hot.” He said.

“You know, I really never thought I would get to experience something like this in my life.” I said, slurping my noodles.

“It’s pretty cool, isn’t it?” He said.

“We should do this more often.” I said.

He looked at me without saying anything.

“Why? You don’t like the idea?” I asked.

“I love the idea.” He said softly.

“Eat up.” He said before I could say anything.

After food, we just lazed around and played with snow.

“Oh look there!” He pointed behind.

“What?” I turned back.

“What is it?” I asked, turning back to him.

“This.” He said, throwing a snowball at my chest.

“Yong Junhyung!” I ran after him.

We threw snow at each other for quite awhile until we were both tired.

“Okay okay stop!” He grabbed me, pulling me down together with him.

I grabbed a handful of snow and dropped it on his face.

“SNOW MASK!” I yelled.

He laughed and wiped it off his face.

We lie in the snow, me on top of him, his arms holding me tightly. We were so close I could hear his heartbeat.

“Darling~” He called out.

“Mmm?” I said, feeling sleepy.

The sound of his heartbeat was like a lullaby; calm and peaceful.

“What am I to you?” He asked.

“Huh?” I looked at him.

“What am I to you?” He asked again.

“Why the sudden question?” I asked.

“Just asking.” He mumbled.

“You’re….. I don’t know. My boyfriend?” I said.

He nodded slightly and closed his eyes.

“Is everything okay? Like, really okay?” I asked him.

“It has never been better.” He said.

I decorated his face with snow while he drifted off into sleep. I entertained myself by taking photos of him with my decoration and sending it to the other Beasts’ members.

He woke up awhile later and looked blankly at me.

“Why are you laughing?” He asked.

“Nothing.” I said.

“Let’s go down.” He said.

“Okay.” I said, trying to suppress my laughter.

The snow I put on his eyebrow didn’t seem to melt or drop off. Throughout the whole journey down, people were giggling at him but he didn’t seem to realize what was wrong. I guess his face was numbed from the cold that’s why he couldn’t feel anything.

“What is so funny?” He asked finally.

I showed him his reflection using the front camera. He gasped and wiped the snow off quickly.

“Yah! How could you!” He pouted, but was unable to hide his laughter.

“I expected it to drop off or something.” I laughed.

“You’re so mean you know!” He laughed.

“You’re cute.” I said, wiping the snow off his face.

We got back downhill and I insisted to drive.

“You can’t even read the road signs!” He pulled the keys from me.

“You can’t even open your eyes!” I argued, snatching the keys back.

“I can!” He forced his eyes open with his fingers.

“Just listen to me okay!” I said, pushing him into the passenger’s seat.

I pushed the seat back so he could lie down.

“Sleep well.” I said, kissing him on his cheek.

He grumbled awhile about me not allowing him to drive and then fell asleep. He was tired, it was written all over his face. I drove at a really slow speed to let him sleep as well as to admire the scenery. He slept throughout the whole journey. Even when we arrived, he was still snoring. I didn’t want to wake him up, I left him a note asking me to give me a call when he wakes up while I go walk around.

Junhyung’s POV

When I woke up, I was alone in the car. It was already dark outside. There was a note stuck on the dashboard.

‘Sleepyhead! Call me when you wake up. I’m just around the place.’

I sighed and rubbed my face. Did I just wasted the whole afternoon to sleep? I was about to pick up my phone to call her when the door opened.

“Oh! You’re awake. I got worried when you didn’t call. I thought you fainted.” She smiled.

“Sorry.” I said.

“For what? You’re tired, I know.” She said, wiping my face with a hot towel.

“Feels good?” She asked.

I nodded.

“Hungry?” She asked.

“Yes. You?” I asked her.

“Quite. Let’s go eat. I saw a hot spring here! Shall we go there later?” She asked.

“Sure.” I said.

We headed for dinner and then went to walk around. There were some shows going on so we just watched a few of them until we got bored.

“Hot spring?” I asked her.

“YES!!” She smiled.

We arrived at the hot spring and got changed respectively. I asked for a private one so we could spend time together.

“Omo it’s so hot!” She pouted.

“It’s called a hot spring for a reason. Don’t stand out there. Come in, it’s really comfortable.” I said.

“No no no! I’ll just stand here.” She said.

“You’re going to catch a cold. Trust me, it’s really comfortable once you get use to it.” I said.

“By then, I’ll be cooked!” She said.

“You wouldn’t.” I grab her hand.

“Don’t pull me down!!!” She yelled.

“I’m not going to do that! I just want to help you down so you wouldn’t slip. Come on, stop struggling. Your towel is dropping off.” I said.

She pouted and adjusted her towel.

“You were the one who wanted to come here, and now I am the one in the water.” I said.

“Okay fine!” She pouted.

She took a really long time to fully soak herself into the water.

“It’s better now, right?” I asked her.

She smiled and nodded.

We spent time in the water, talking about a lot of stuff.

“Let’s go. I’m feeling dizzy.” I said.

“Eh? You okay?” She asked worriedly, touching my forehead.

“Are you having a fever? Why are you so hot?” She asked.

“Silly~ it’s the hot spring. It’ll be weird if my skin is cold. I’m not a vampire.” I laughed.

“I’m just concerned!” She pouted.

“Alright. I’m fine. Just that with all the blood rushing to my head, it’s making me dizzy.” I said.

“Okay then let’s go.” She said.

We went to shower before heading back to our room.

“Two more days left! What a pity.” She said, throwing herself onto the bed.

“I’m sorry I slept half the day away.” I said.

“Don’t be silly.” She threw a pillow at me.

I joined her on the bed, pinning her down.

“What?” She asked.

I held onto her hands so she wouldn’t move. I lean in closer to kiss her. Our tongues fought for dominance. I won in the end. She wrapped her legs around my hip, yanking me closer to her.

“Darling, can we?” I whispered when we broke apart for air.

“What?” She teased.

I looked her in the eye. She is really beautiful.

“What do you want?” She asked.

“You.” I said.

She kicked my knee, causing me to lose balance. She took the chance to flip me over. She pinned me down, her hair tickling my face.

“Okay.” She smiled.

I put her hair to the side and pulled her closer to me. We kissed again, but this time no one fought to dominate. We enjoyed the deep, passionate kiss until we were out of breath.

We looked at each other, panting deeply. My hands slipped up to her shirt, feeling her bare skin. She tensed a little but relaxed after awhile. While my hands worked on her body, she planted soft kisses all over my face.

“I love you.” She whispered.

“Me too. No matter what happens, I’ll love and stand by you.” I said.

She smiled and leaned against my chest, hand my stomach.

“Even if I am not around, you cannot stop living.” I blabbered out.

“What?” She looked up.

“I mean, with or without me, you have to be happy.” I said.

“Why would I be without you?” She asked.

“Well, you know my job requires me to go overseas now and then.” I said hurriedly.

“But you’ll come back, so it’s okay.” She smiled.

She my ear lobe and bit my neck lightly. Her hand slipped into my jeans, causing me to freeze at the sudden action.

“Hee~” She bit her lower lip as she slipped her hand into my boxer.

“Omo omo~” She teased as she my member.

When did she become so daring?
