Haneul’s POV

I watch as Junhyung made his way to her. I never knew this could hurt so much.

“Oppa! Did you miss me?” She asked, clinging herself onto Junhyung.

“Of course.” He smiled.

“Oppa! I brought her here! We can end this today and be together forever!” She said excitedly.

Junhyung looked at me. His eyes had no expression whatsoever. Then he looked back at her with a smile.

“Oppa, why aren’t you saying anything?” She asked.

“Oh. I was just thinking of what to do with her and how to thank you for this.” He said.

“We’ll just kill her! And, you don’t have to thank me! I did this for us.” She smiled, kissing Junhyung on his cheek.

The door flew opened and we all turn to see who it was. Jace.

“What is… going on?” Jace asked, still oblivious to the situation.

Jace and Junhyung glared hard at each other, but said nothing.

She let go of Junhyung and walked towards me.

“Remember I said I have something to reveal? Now that everyone is here, including your little lover boy, shall we talk about it?” She asked, grabbing my chin.

“Let go.” I hissed.

“Of course!” She smiled, pushing me backwards. I would have fell if not for the wall behind.

“Oppa,” She called out to Junhyung.

“Oppa!?” Jace yelled, looking at Junhyung and her.

“Junhyung, what the is…” Before Jace could grab hold of Junhyung, the girl pointed a knife at his throat.

“No one touches my Junhyung oppa.” She hissed.

Jace froze, turning to look at me, and then at Junhyung, who still did not have any expression on his face.

“Oppa, look at these.” She said, taking out a stack of photos and handing them to Junhyung.

Junhyung looked through the photos before looking up with anger in his eyes.

“Oppa, you hid me all along because you were afraid she would get upset. But see what she has done behind your back!” She yelled, knife still at Jace’s throat.

“I know. All along, I knew.” Junhyung said, glaring at me.

What did he know? What did I do?

“Son of a .” He hissed, staring hard at Jace.

“You take me for a fool?” He grabbed Jace’s collar, yanking him closer to him.

“You think I don’t know whatever you and Haneul have been doing behind my back? You think I am a fool!?” He yelled, punching Jace hard.

“Even if you wanted to cheat behind my back, at least do a proper job and don’t get caught! Stupid!” He yelled, punching Jace again.

He shoved Jace hard against the wall. As they fought, I was left to stare at my friend. She smirked at me, mouthing ‘I win.’

“ you!” I heard Junhyung yell as he kick Jace to where Tae Hyun and Ji Eun lie.

Jace fell to the floor, coughing and bloody all over. We exchanged glances. He smiled weakly, as thou trying to tell me something.

“And you!” Junhyung shouted as he grabbed my hair roughly.

“Why did you cheat on me!? I love you!” He yelled.

“I… I did not. You know Jace is not…” I mumbled.

“STOP LYING!!!” He screamed into my face.

“I… I am sorry…” I said, although I did not know why I apologized. Maybe I was too scared.

“You’re sorry? NO! I am sorry!” He said.

“Maybe I shouldn’t hope for your love after everything! Maybe I shouldn’t have believed in trust! You never loved me, have you!?” He continued.

As he said all these, although his voice sounded angry, his eyes told a different story. I looked at him, confused. I looked over his back to her who was still smirking, twirling the knife in her hand.

Junhyung grabbed my shoulders hard, shaking me to get my attention. When I stared back at him, he leaned in closer, glaring harder, but his gaze was soft.

“I should have let you go. If you hated me so much, you shouldn’t have come back to me even when I pleaded you. You should have RUN!!” I flinched at his voice. Before I could react to anything, I was yanked up and shoved towards the door.

When did he untie me? How come I knew nothing about it? Jace was suddenly behind me with Tae Hyun and Ji Eun in his arms.

“What….” I looked at him.

“Don’t ask, just go.” He hissed.

“Lionny, get out!!” Junhyung yelled as he tried to wrestle the knife from her.

“No one is going out!!” She yelled, kicking Junhyung in his stomach. She wore heels.

Jace tried to push open the door, but there as no door knob. The door opens from the outside.

“.” I heard Junhyung mumble under his breath.

“I said, no one is going out.” She smiled as she walked closer to us.

Jace had Tae Hyun and Ji Eun protectively in his arms while Junhyung stood in front of me, blocking me with his arms whenever I tried to step in front of him.

“Oppa, why are you making things so difficult?” She asked.

“Don’t Oppa me. I don’t even know you.” He said dangerously.

“YOU DON’T KNOW ME!? How could you not know me!?” She screamed.

Junhyung said nothing but just stared at her.

“I love you so much, Oppa! You said you love me too! Why did you betray me!?” She yelled.

She pulled out a life size human shaped plushie with Junhyung’s face plastered to it. She jabbed the knife into the plushie, tearing it into shreds as she yelled. All of us froze at the sight.

“YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME!!! YOU SAID WE WOULD BE TOGETHER!! YOU GAVE ME FLOWERS!! YOU LEFT ME SWEET MESSAGES!! WHY ARE YOU BEHAVING LIKE SOMEONE ELSE NOW!?” She yelled, crying and punching the plushie.

“IS IT BECAUSE OF HER!? SHE ASKED YOU TO DO THIS, DIDN’T SHE!?” She shouted, walking towards us with knife pointed out.

Junhyung stood protectively in front of me, trying to yank the knife away from her. This was when I saw his bloody palms, but when did he get hurt? I looked around and saw a razor blade on the floor. Has he been using that to cut the ropes off me while yelling at me so I would be distracted?

“I DON’T KNOW YOU!!!” He shouted, snapping me out of my thoughts.

“YOU KNOW ME!!! WE WERE TOGETHER!! WE WERE SO HAPPY!!! WHY!?” She screamed.

“If she dies, you would be with me.” I heard her mumble.

She pushed Junhyung away, and charged towards me. For some reason, I stood my ground, looking at her.

“HANEUL MOV…” Before Junhyung could finish, she whipped out a handgun, pointing it at me.

“No one moves, or else I’ll blow her up.” She smirked.

“Delusional .” I said.

“What?” She asked.

“I said, delusional . EVERY SINGLE THING THAT HAPPENED HERE IS JUST YOUR ILLUSION!” I agitated her on purpose.

“IT’S NOT!!!” She yelled.

“IT IS!!! No matter how many photos you photoshop yourself with Junhyung, no matter how many bouquets of flowers you buy for yourself and pretend it is Junhyung who gave it to you, no matter what you do to make yourself believe that Junhyung is yours, he’ll still be MINE!!” I yelled.

“NO!!” She yelled.

“YES!! He’ll always be mine! His heart is with me, and NEVER with you! No matter what you do behind his back, all those stalking and whatnot, he’ll NEVER see you, he’ll NEVER feel you. Even if he did, he’ll NEVER be with you because he’ll NEVER love you!” I shouted back.

“IT’S NOT LIKE THIS!! YOU CURSED HIM!! YOU FORCED HIM TO LOVE YOU!! HE LOVES ME AND ME ONLY!!” She yelled back.

I took a brief glance at Junhyung who looked at me with worried eyes. While I continued the pointless argument with her as to who Junhyung loves more, Jace and Junhyung took the chance to look for another exit apart from the useless door.

As I yelled at her, I took note of their progress. I was soon out of words to argue back. I did not feel good hurling at her like that honestly. She was my friend, no matter what. I ended up yelling ‘yes’ at whatever ‘no’ she said.

“HE LOVES ME!! HE LOVES ME!! YOU’RE THE DELUSIONAL !!! IT’S YOU!!!” She screamed.

“He’ll never love! He’ll…” I froze when she pressed down the hammer, so did everyone else in the room.

“For us to be real, you need to be gone.” She smirked.

“No.” Junhyung said.

“Why not, Junhyung oppa? You said we’d kill her and live happily ever after! You’re a celebrity. I cannot let you risk your reputation. I’ll do it! It’s okay! I’ll do it for us! We’ll be happy after that, right?” She said.

Why am I starting to pity her?

“No. Please. Just. No.” Junhyung said, trying to calm her down.

“WHY NOT!?” She yelled.

“I… I…” Junhyung mumbled, looking at me.

“Junhyung oppa! You don’t have to be afraid! We’ll be fine! We’ll be happy! We can get rid of this and her lover boy! We can run away and live forever with our children!” She said.

“What children?” Junhyung asked, confused.

“Tae Hyun and Ji Eun are our children!!” She said excitedly.

“Huh?!” Jace and Junhyung said together, both turning to look at me.

I could only shrug my shoulders. I don’t even know what is true and what is not now.

“Junhyung, you…” Jace mumbled.

“I did not! I really did not!!” Junhyung defended himself.

“YOU DID!!! WE DID IT!!! IT MUST BE THIS WHO CURSED YOU SO THAT YOU’LL FORGET OUR HAPPY MEMORIES!! SHE MUST DIE!!!” She yelled.

“NO NO!!” Junhyung stopped her.

“Let’s talk huh? Let’s talk. Why not you tell me about it? Why not you…” He stopped talking when we heard the police siren.

“You betrayed me, Junhyung oppa? You called the police?” She asked.

“I did. I…” He bit his lower lips.

“SHE ASKED YOU TO DO IT, RIGHT!? SHE ASKED YOU TO PHONE THE POLICE!! IT MUST BE HER!!” She said angrily, pulling the trigger at the same time.

I shut my eyes, waiting for the bullet to hit me.

I felt a weight crash onto me, pushing me backwards onto the floor.

I opened my eyes to see Junhyung on top of me.

“Are.. you okay?” He panted.

I felt liquid wet my chest, but I did not feel any pain.
