Jiyong’s POV…

I ran past TOP hyung who was patiently waiting outside a pair of doors which I figured to be where they were holding her. I did notice the large amount of blood covering his shirt, it just set my heart on fire, barging in those doors, uncaring if I was allowed back there. I NEEDED to be back there. The moment I pushed the doors open, everyone in the room flinched. The nurses ran over to hold me as I looked horrified to see Hoku laid out on a metal bed, oxygen mask to her face, her bottom half of her body drenched in blood. My heart stopped before I began screaming for her, trying to reach out for her. It looked like she was dead on the table before she tilted her head to look at me. I watched closely as she reached out for me, looking frail in my eyes.

“LET ME GO! I NEED TO BE WITH HER!” I shouted angrily pushing the nurses aside before running over to hold her hand between mine. Obviously the doctor had okayed me being there since after pushing those women aside, they had stepped aside to help him instead. I sniffled, letting the tears fall as I looked into her pain ridden eyes, hurt.

“Baby.” I whispered as she smiled, using her hand in mine to reach up and caress my cheek.

“You…….made…..it.” She whispered barely audible as I nodded. My heart was breaking piece by piece as I stared at her, smiling at me. I hesitantly looked down her body to where the doctors were just now slicing her stomach open. I bit the inside of my lip before quickly turning to her.

“Everything’s gonna be ok, alright?” I smiled through tears as she sighed before smiling, shutting her eyes momentarily before opening them to look at me.

“It will.” She whispered before I nodded to her comment, quickly grabbing her hands again.

“The baby will be fine, and we’ll go home so I can show you my surprise.” I admitted smiling quickly, kissing her knuckles.

“The placenta separated!” The doctor shouted as I quickly looked over confused.

“What?” I asked through a whimper as one of the nurses looked up from the doctors side.

“The placenta separated from the baby.” She mentioned as my eyes shot open.

“What does that mean?” I asked hesitantly as she passed a tool to the doctor.

“The baby is suffocating.” She answered as my heart dropped along with another set of tears.

“What’s going on?” Hoku whispered as I quickly looked over smiling.

“Nothing, it’s alright. They said baby has a lot of hair.” I lied seeing her smile again, her smiles were and will always be warm to me no matter the situation.

Author’s POV…

“What happened?” Youngbae asked panicked the moment they saw TOP covered in blood, standing alone in the hallway.

“She was bleeding…..alot.” He whispered never looking up from his shirt as the guys sighed. They had all been incredibly nervous and worried from the moment Jiyong had told them what he knew.

“Did they say anything?” Seungri asked as TOP looked up, tear stained cheeks, before shaking his head.

“They wouldn’t let me in.” TOP whimpered before Daesung walked over, holding him around his shoulder comforting.

“You did what you could hyung, she’ll pull through. She always does.” Daesung comforted, biting his own lip to hold in the tears.

Hoku’s POV…

WAHHHHHHH ~ WAHHHHHHHH

The sweet sound of a baby crying filled the room, causing me to chuckle. I tilted my head to the side looking at Jiyong whose face was brighter than ever.

“My baby.” I whispered as he laughed turning to me before nodding.

“Baby’s alright.” He answered leaning over and kissing my forehead causing me to sigh in relief.

I was happy that everything was alright, after all the trouble and tribulations we went through, everything turned out alright.

“Baby is healthy.” The nurses announced lifting a large weight off my shoulder being that I was almost 2 months early. Jiyong soon stood as I carefully watched him accept the wrapped child in his arms, carefully, worried he may do something wrong. I chuckled at the sight, still feeling a bit light headed and drained as he sat next to me, making faces at his baby.

“Hi sweetie.” He chirped laughing when it stopped crying to look to him.

“Look, it’s mama.” He then announced turning his arm so I could see it. I smiled once before……….

Jiyong’s POV…

I was the happiest person in the world the moment I heard those fateful cries fill the room. My eyes shot open and over to the doctor who pulled my child out of her and into the nearest waiting nurse. I watched closely as they cleaned, prepped and wrapped it before turning to me. My heart was thumping loudly in my ears as I stood, accepting the small bundle of joy I had been blessed with. With small hesitation, I held it carefully in my arms smiling, my child was perfect. I turned to Hoku who was watching me closely, knowing she wanted to see it just as badly as I had. I took a seat smiling at the two blessings in my life before turning the child to Hoku. I watched happily as Hoku smiled, lifting her arm to hold our childs. I laughed at the scene before a blaring loud beeping entered the room. I flinched in surprise, pulling the child to my chest, looking around confused as everyone began racing around.

“What’s going on?” I asked standing as a nurse began trying to grab me.

“SHE’S GOING INTO CARDIAC ARREST!”  The doctor shouted as someone ran over to Hoku, placing their hands on her chest before pumping. That’s when I noticed the blank expression on Hoku’s face. I was shaking standing against the wall with my child screaming in my arms. A nurse pulled the child away from me carefully, I didn’t even move or fight. I was frozen with uncontrollable tears falling down my cheeks onto my shirt. My eyes stayed on Hoku’s unresponsive ones as they did everything to try and get her back.

“No….no……no…….you can’t.” I whispered in denial shaking my head, slowly sliding down to the ground on my backside. This was worse than in those horror movies.

“Mark it.” The doctor then said as the room grew quiet. My eyes shot open and around the room to the hesitant faces, trying to avoid my eye sight. This couldn’t be happening, after everything that happened, this would be our last chapter together. I shot off the ground and ran over to her side, pulling her oxygen mask off her face as her head rolled to the side unresponsive.

“No.” I whispered in horror, holding her face between my hands as I cried.

“You can’t.”  I whispered shaking my head horrified by the face I was staring at. She was gone.

Author’s POV….

The members outside the door heard the commotion along with screaming coming from inside the door and barged in to see an unresponsive Hoku lying lifeless on the bed with a hysterical Jiyong crying.

“Noona….” Seungri whispered covering his mouth to hide the hysterics that were barging out of him. The members all just stood there, unsure as what to do with the situation in front of the them.

“She’s gone.” Jiyong whispered in agony as TOP fell against the wall to sturdy himself, Youngbae fell to the ground on his knees while Seungri ran over to comfort his Hyung. She’s gone.
