“I’m sorry.’ Jiyong said once more as they drove home from her surprise baby shower. Ever since the incident in the hallway, Hoku had been surprisingly chatty with everyone at the company, aside from him. Every time he would start up a conversation, she would change it quickly with someone else and walk away. Now, that no one else was around, she was dead quiet just staring out the windshield.

“Keep your eyes on the road.” Was the only thing she said before looking out her window to the night life.

“Hoku.” He whined as she rested her chin on her hand before tilting her head enough to look at him.

“What?” She asked uncaring as he sighed, shaking his head.

“We’ll talk at home.” He gave in, stepping on the gas a bit more to get home quicker.

Hoku wasn’t upset about what had happened, it just made her realize all the things that ‘could’ happen now that she was back with Jiyong. She knew he had no intention to do what had happened, but the fact that it did happen, shook her up a bit. She never thought she would actually hit someone when she was so vulnerable, but when she saw the kiss, all she saw was red. She was just glad that she didn’t do what her mind was telling her to do to the young girl, strangle her. Clenching her fists as they drove home, she had to constantly bite her lips to hold in the whimpers that were begging to be released. Even knowing the kiss meant nothing to him, it hurt her deep inside to see it with her own eyes.

“Alright, now spill.” Selena scolded taking a seat on the bench as they cleaned up the party. Everyone quieted down before looking to her confused.

“Spill what?” Seungri asked confused as she snorted pushing his face.

“You! You know something.” She snapped pointing an accusing finger directly at TOP who just blinked in surprise.

“Why would hyung know anything?” Daesung asked as Selena smirked.

“Because I saw the reaction he gave when that midget walked in the room earlier.” Selena spoke proudly.

“Do you know something oppa?” Eden asked unsure as Top sighed.

“She’s been hitting on Ji for a few weeks now.” He answered quickly as Selena sighed.

“What the hell is wrong with her?” Steph whispered leaning on Daesung’s shoulder.

“I’m surprised Hoku-ah hit her.” Youngbae interrupted as the girls laughed and nodded.

The couple finally pulled up to their dimly lit house, Hoku wasted no time waiting for Jiyong to help her, instead she climbed out on her own., shutting the door quickly before briskly walking towards the house door.

“Hoku.” He whined running after her as she pushed past the unlocked door and into the dark house.

“Come on.” He whined stepping in and shutting the door only to find her laid out on the couch. He sighed seeing that she was still dressed in her coat and slippers, curled up in the fetal position as she stared blankly into space. He pulled his own coat off, hanging it in the entryway closet before he kicked off his shoes and walked slowly towards her.

“Come to bed, you’ll hurt your back if you lay here tonight.” He mentioned caringly while staring at her face, not seeing any changes in expression. Hoku just sighed, continuing to stare into space as the nights events replayed through her head.

“Do you like her?” She finally spat out as Jiyong looked to her surprise.

“What?” He asked walking around the couch to kneel in front of her, finally seeing her eye to eye.

“Do you……..like her?” She asked softly never ripping her eyes away from his.

“Of course, not, what would make you ask that?” He asked seriously, reaching a hand out to wipe the loose tear that had fallen from her eyes.

“Because….” She whispered shutting her eyes tightly before opening them to see him staring at her expectantly.

“Because what?” He asked once he knew he had her full attention.

“I saw the way you were pulled out of the room, you didn’t fight back.” She whispered as he sighed, leaning closer so that he could rest his chin on the couch in front of her.

“Don’t you say that, you know I’m not like that.” He whispered as she continued to stare at him in thought.

“I told you baby, only you and the baby, that’s all I need in life. If you want me to give up my music right now, give me the word and I will. I’ll do anything to prove to you how much I love you two.” He whispered snaking his other arm up the couch to rest on her stomach.

“Don’t ever think anything like that, alright?” He whispered as she sighed loudly before nodding in understanding.

“I love you.” He whispered smiling at her as she smiled through tears.

“I love you.” She answered as he leaned forward connecting his lips with her warm ones. The moment their lips touched, a fire lit in her chest sending the child lie in wait tumbling.

“Woah.” Jiyong pulled away overly surprised as he looked to his hand on her stomach.

“Ya! What are you doing in there?!” Hoku shouted annoyed holding her stomach while Jiyong scooted over to lie his ear on it.

“Ya, you leave your mom alone.” He teased feeling a slight kick to his face through her dress. Hoku just chuckled, now lying on her back to watch Jiyong.

“You better listen to your Appa or else.” He threatened rubbing her stomach as he listened to the small movements under him.

“I can’t wait till you come out.” He admitted smiling up at Hoku who just watched intently.

“Hurry, arasso?” He whispered kissing her stomach before sitting up.

“Come on now, let’s get you into bed.” He offered, standing off the ground before holding a hand out to her. He helped her carefully off the ground and down the hallway to their bedroom.

“Are you still ok with going to my parents this weekend?” He asked while she brushed her teeth.

“Yes, I want to go, so stop asking.” She whined with the toothpaste foam hanging out of .

“We’ll head up on Friday alright?” He added as she nodded from the mirror. This weekend, they would spill the largest secret to Jiyong’s family for the first time.
