Planning continued for the guys Debut Anniversary in a few weeks before Hoku finally left.

“Ah Hoku-ah! It’s a good thing I caught you!” A voice called from behind her as she waited for the elevator to come up. She looked over her shoulder surprised to see YG walking towards her quickly.

“Oh sir, problem?” She asked as the elevator door opened. He smiled gesturing for her to climb in as she did before turning to him.

“So I wanted to talk more about Jiyong’s Birthday party, do you have time?” He asked as she smiled and nodded.

“How about some lunch then?” He asked pressing the button to head down to the cafeteria.

“Sure, I’d like that.” She answered as it opened to the underground floor. They both made their plates before sitting at the nearest table.

“So tell me, what did you have planned?” He asked once they sat down. She grabbed the water bottle she had chosen before opening it.

“Well it’s just as I said sir, I just want him to enjoy the night, without having to worry about scandals or fans. So only his friends and family.” Hoku immediately added as he nodded.

“That’s understandable.” He answered.

“It’s also for the guys just to hang loose and enjoy the night.” She added as he nodded pulling out his phone before turning it on and placing it down next to him.

“Well from knowledge, Jiyong used to frequently visit before you came into his life was a huge club in the middle of town called Red.” He mentioned as Hoku nodded pulling out her I Pad from her bag before putting her research to work.

“I know the owner so I’m sure I could pull some strings.” YG muttered looking down to his phone.

“Don’t worry about food sir, or décor, I’ll take care of it.” Hoku immediately spoke causing YG to look up and smile.

“I’m expecting great food.” He teased causing her to chuckle and nod.

“Only the best of my cooking.” She answered as he smiled and nodded going back to his phone.

“As for friends, that may be a bit hard on my part.” He sighed massaging his chin.

“Hoku-ah!” A voice sang from the hallway as they both looked over to see Youngbae, alone.

“Ah, perfect!” YG shouted in relief, gesturing for Youngbae to join them.

“Um hey, what’s going on?” He whispered hesitantly as he took a seat next to Hoku. She just simply smiled before turning her attention towards YG.

“You need to keep this a secret from everyone, even the other members, understand?” YG pointed over to Youngbae who nodded, unconsciously moving closer to Hoku.

“I’m throwing a surprise party for Jiyong.” Hoku spoke causing Youngbae’s eyes to shoot open.

“Really?!” He asked excitedly as she chuckled and nodded.

“That’s great, he’ll love it!” He added looking to YG who smiled and nodded.

“So what’s up? You guys need help?” Youngbae asked as both YG and Hoku nodded.

“I’m not sure of his friends, but I want him to have those he’s closest too, ones that he likes to come.” Hoku explained as Youngbae rested his chin on his palm before nodding.

“I’m sure I can get a hold of them.” He answered sending a wave of relief over the two.

“If you need it Youngbae-ah, I can contact some of them, just give me names.” YG informed as Youngbae nodded.

“YG suggested a club called Red, is that alright? Jiyong will like it?” Hoku asked unsure as Youngbae chuckled and nodded.

“He used to love that place.” Youngbae added as Hoku nodded.

“I’ll contact everyone, so when is it?” Youngbae asked as Hoku looked down to her I Pad.

“Saturday the 14^th, maybe around 7ish I’ll need help distracting him so I can set up and cook. Then have everyone there before 8.” Hoku explained as Youngbae nodded already pulling out his phone.

“I’ll set up some interviews that day to keep him busy.” YG offered as she nodded.

Hoku finally emerged from YG later that afternoon, walking over to her car before freezing when she felt a chill run up her spine. She almost about dropped her keys when she felt it. She quickly turned around expecting to see someone behind her, no one. Turning slowly towards her car, she begin to walk, very slowly, unsure where the nervous feeling was coming from. Once she made it to her car, she quickly unlocked it, hopped in before shutting it and locking it. Something wasn’t right. She started the car, pulling out of the stall before driving through the open security gate and towards hers and Jiyong’s house.

Getting stuck in traffic was as irritating as losing her cellphone. Speaking of which, after waiting for 10 minutes her phone began vibrating in her bag. She looked to the unmoving traffic then quickly reached in her bag, pulling out the Bluetooth hands free earpiece before slipping it in her ear. She barely answered on the last ring.

“Hello?” She answered looking to see that the car in front of her still had not moved.

“Heyyy.” A familiar voice rang in her ear causing her to smile.

“Oh hey Steph, the very person I wanted to talk to.” Hoku spoke as Steph chuckled.

“Oh really?” She asked amused.

“Ya, I’m going to throw a surprise birthday party for Jiyong this coming weekend.” Hoku announced quickly changing lanes.

“Oh! I totally forgot his birthday was coming up.” Steph spoke.

“Well I needed some help with it. We’re not telling the guys, only Youngbae knows. The other’s can’t keep a secret to save their lives.” Hoku teased as Steph laughed.

“Yah, I know what you mean. So what do you need help with?” Steph asked.

“Well I need some help setting up and cooking.” Hoku admitted.

“I’ll be more than happy to help. I actually understand now, YG just called a few minutes ago saying that Big Bang had to be back in Korea this weekend for some schedules.” Steph muttered causing Hoku to chuckle.

“Yah, that’s probably why. He’s supposed to be keeping the guys busy, but if you can help me, I’d really appreciate it.” Hoku added.

“Of course, I’ll help. I’ll let Eden and Selena know. We’ll come in earlier than the guys so we can get started.”
