YG finally made an official statement the next morning after they were finally let into Hoku’s room. He took to his twitter account to let the fans and media know the update.

“@ygofficial Hoku’s condition update: She’s gonna be fine! Doctor said she’s been put into an induced coma to prolong her healing period. Keep your prayers with her and the rest of the family, as we stay at her side to comfort and support her!”

No one ever left her room since they had been let in. YG had her moved to a private suite wing in the hospital where they could all comfortably wait for any news or for her to wake up. YG canceled all of Big Bang’s schedules for the next few weeks, the first time in history. The moment they had first walked into the room, TOP and Daesung had to basically catch Jiyong from falling. The sight in front of them, all made them weak. The doctor said she was fine, but with the bandages, tubes and needles hooked up to her, she looked like she was barely breathing. There was the sound of two heartbeats that filled the room, two separate machines that were explained to be, one for her and one hooked up to her stomach to monitor the child. Her leg had a cast that covered from the ankle to just above her knee, her head was wrapped due to her injuries, she had bandages on her chest and arms to cover the scrapes, either than that, she looked healthy, fine. Jiyong didn’t leave her side at all since the moment they arrived, only to use the bathroom, either than that, he sat at her side, his hand holding her bandage covered one and just stared at her.

“Jiyong, you have to eat.” Youngbae commanded as Jiyong ignored them as always, just keeping his eyes on the woman lying motionless in the bed. There was no use fighting with him, he wasn’t going to listen to anyone till she awoke.

2 weeks later:

Hoku’s Family had arrived after Selena sent news over to them. So along with the Big Bang members, the girls now her family along with her brothers, were all present in the room.

“Jiyong, go rest. It’ll be ok.” Paula, Hoku’s mother urged seeing the dark circles around his eyes growing darker and darker as the days went on. He just smiled, patting Hoku’s hand in his before shaking his head.

“I’m fine Mrs. Fernandez.” He answered as she sighed, patting his shoulder. She had cried the moment she had seen her daughter in that hospital bed, but what broke her heart even more was the look on Jiyong’s face when they walked in. He looked a mess; he looked like the empty shell of the person he used to be. YG had explained to them that he knew about the child, and ever since then he hadn’t left her side. She felt saddened that she had agreed with her daughter to hide such a secret from such a person, but her daughter was persistent.

It started off like any other day, the only time Jiyong ever got any sleep was during the night, but he slept by her side. The doctor came in to do his usual routine checkup but this time was different, he stayed longer just staring at the machine measuring her brain scans.

“Is there something wrong?” YG asked as everyone woke up from their various places around the room. He leaned closer, adjusting his reading glasses before writing it down on his clipboard.

“What’s going on doctor?” Jiyong asked looking over to him as he turned to the room.

“Her brain scans are showing activity.” He mentioned as their eyes shot open. The girls made sure to translate everything to the family that didn’t know Japanese.

“Well, well what does that mean?” Youngbae asked anxiously standing next to Jiyong as the doctor smiled.

“It’s only a matter of time before she wakes up.” He answered as they began smiling. The family then smiled when the girls told them what the doctor has said.

“Oh thank you so much.” Ben, Hoku’s father thanked as the doctor nodded and left the room.

“Just a little bit longer Hyung.” Seungri mentioned over to Jiyong who now had a smile plastered on his face. A few hours later, Jiyong was awakening from his nap feeling something clutch his hand. He groaned, stretching a bit from his place before looking over to see her hand holding his back. His eyes widened as he shot off the seat causing it to squeak and wake the others.

“What’s wrong Ji?” Top asked stretching from his spot on the couch.

“What’s going on?” Youngbae asked walking over as Jiyong turned to him, holding the hand up to see that it was still holding his.

“She’s holding it.” He whispered smiling as the guys all ran over excited.

“Hoku-ah! Hoku-ah! Can you hear us?!” Daesung began asking standing on the other side of the bed, holding her free hand.

“Someone go get the doctor.” Jiyong urged as Seungri nodded and ran out, coming back a few minutes later with the doctor and a few nurses.

“She is coming through.” The doctor noted as he took notice of the brain wave scan.

“She can understand Japanese, yes?” the doctor asked as the guys nodded. Jiyong took an eager seat next to her, holding her hand up to his lips.

“Ms. Fernandez, can you hear me?” He asked out loud as the family began piling in.

“What’s going on?” Kona asked out as the guys turned to them.

“She’s waking up.” Youngbae explained as they all gasped running over. Her eyes fluttered a bit while her head slowly began moving.

“Let’s remove the tube.” The doctor offered as Daesung and TOP got out of the way so the doctors could pull out the tube, not bothering Hoku.

Hoku’s POV…

My body felt tired, exhausted and more than ever heavy. I tried to open my eyes but they wouldn’t cooperate with me. Something warm, something familiar was holding my hand, I could hear voices yelling at me. After forcing my eyes open to a bright light, I groaned when I felt the dryness and raspy feeling in my throat building.

“HOKU! HOKU! Can you hear us?!” A voice kept shouting as I blinked my eyes, letting it slowly adjust to the brightness. Finally the fogginess in front of my eyes dropped, the hold on my hand grew tighter as I looked over to the faces around me.

“Hoku! I’m Doctor Cho, can you hear me? Do you understand me?” The elder man asked as I turned to him with heavy eyes before nodding.

“Hoku! Are you ok?” A voice asked as I turned to the other faces that just looked at me confused after a while.

“Hoku-ah?” The man next to me asked as I squinted my eyes.

“Who….are…..you?” I whispered through a dry voice, not recognizing anyone in the room. I had to admit, the face the man holding my hand gave me, was like a stab to the heart, but why?
