Author’s POV…

“Oh hold on, I’m getting a call.” Eden said as she was speaking to Youngbae over the phone about some wedding updates. She looked to the caller ID and almost choked on the cup of coffee that was at .

“Babe, I have to call you back.” Eden quickly said hanging up the phone before answering the other line.

“H-hello?” She stuttered slightly, unusually nervous to answer this phone call.

“Geez, It’s not like I hate you or something.” The familiar voice spoke outraged on the line causing Eden to smile largely.

“Hoku?” She asked in disbelief, quickly grabbing her coffee off the table before making her exit out of the café, just in case her tears began to overflow.

“Heyyy~” Hoku’s voice rang embarrassed causing Eden to sigh in relief.

“It’s really so good to hear from you, finally.” Eden teased causing Hoku to chuckle.

“I’m sorry for not keeping in touch all these months.” Hoku apologized before Eden looked down to her coffee in thought.

“It’s alright, the others are pretty upset but I knew you must have a logically reason for kicking us out of your lives.” Eden spoke sarcastically causing Hoku to sigh. She knew her friends were beyond upset with her, never answering any of their calls, or texts, not even writing back to the dozens of letters they had sent her.

“I really am sorry.” Hoku pointed out again, knowing that it was close to impossible for any of them to forgive her so easily.

“You called, I forgive you.” Eden teased causing Hoku to chuckle.

“So what’s with the sudden call?” Eden asked wriggling her eyebrows, hoping to get the answer she was waiting to get.

“Oh that’s right! Congrats!” She quickly said as Eden let go of the breath she had been holding in.

“Awh, thanks. I have you to thank for getting us together in the first place though.” She pointed out causing Hoku to chuckle at the memories.

“Well……um…the actual reason why I called was….um…I’m going to come for the wedding.” She said as Eden froze in the middle of the sidewalk.
“Wait? Can you say that again?” Eden asked in disbelief.

“I mean, if you don’t want me to come, I totally understand. I’ll send you and Bae a…….” Hoku started before Eden quickly interrupted.

“No, no, no, I didn’t mean it like that. I was just surprised that you were actually agreeing to come.” Eden spoke surprised and speechless, smiling like an idiot in the middle of the sidewalk.

“Well your one of my best friends, and I owe Youngbae a lot. I want to be there for your special day, like we always talked about in High School.” Hoku teased causing Eden to chuckle and continue on her way towards the YG Company Building.

“So you’ll be part of my wedding party also?” Eden asked expectedly causing Hoku to sigh.

“I gained a lot of weight from the last time you all saw me, I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing that.” She admitted causing Eden to nod in understanding. She honestly didn’t care that she had turned down her offer to be in the wedding party, at least she was agreeing to coming.

“That’s alright. I understand even though I’m sure you’re still gorgeous.” She teased over the line.

“Do you want me to make your plane and hotel reservations?” Eden asked knowing that they had made all the reservations for everyone to go to Jeju where the Wedding was being held.

“Um sure, but I need a favor on that.” Hoku spoke as Eden nodded confused.

“Sure, anything.” She answered as Hoku sighed into the phone.

“I’m bringing a date.” She spoke as Eden almost tripped, falling on her face before she caught herself.

“What?” Eden asked chuckling nervously.

“I’m bringing someone with me, so could I possibly bring a guest to the wedding?” Hoku asked hesitantly while Eden looked around in disbelief.

“Oh yah sure, I’ll put you down for two.” Eden spoke forcefully, clenching her fists annoyed with the news.

“And one more thing.” Hoku interrupted as Eden pulled out her YG badge to open the door into the building.

“What?” She asked hesitantly.

“Don’t tell anyone I’m coming.” Hoku begged as Eden stepped in and walked to the elevator.
“Why not? I’m sure everyone will be excited to hear you are.” Eden whined

“Just don’t ok? I’m not sure how everyone will take it, or how I will.” She whispered as Eden hung her head.

“Alright, I’ll get your reservations together and send it to your dad.” Eden spoke looking up to the open door to see Youngbae on the other side patiently waiting.

“Thank you girl. I guess I’ll see you in a few days.” Hoku mentioned as Eden nodded climbing out to be stopped by a confused Youngbae, just looking at her he knew something was up.

“Alright, I’ll see you then. Bye.” Eden quickly said before hanging up and looking to her concerned fiancé standing in front of her.

“What happened?” He immediately asked blocking her way.

“Nothing happened, why?” Eden asked innocently smiling before Youngbae narrowed his eyes.

“Honey, if you do that with your eyes any tighter, you’ll be worse than Daesung-ah.” Eden teased causing Youngbae to step back outraged before snorting.

“So why’d you hang up on me?” Youngbae asked throwing his previous worry out the window seeing that Eden wasn’t going to give in any time soon. Eden just chuckled before shrugging.

“Man, what’s up with all the secrecy?!” He yelled outraged only causing her to chuckle again.

“I’m not a Man! And don’t worry about it, it’s a secret and that’s how it should stay.” Eden pointed out walking away from him down the hall.

“Ya! I’m not done talking to you yet!” Youngbae yelled as Eden snapped her head around to him, catching him off guard.

“DID YOU JUST ‘YA’ AT ME?!” Eden snapped as Youngbae smiled, putting his hands up before shaking his head.

“No, no, no, I said ‘yah, I’ll stop asking’.” He quickly covered his mistake causing her to snort and walk away again. The wedding will surely be full of surprises.
