Jiyong sat on the couch in the corner of Hoku’s room, dressed back in his sweats, just staring at the woman asleep in the middle of the sheets in front of him. He heard her slightly mutter in her sleep causing him to smile. He stood from his seat, quietly walking over before pulling the sheet higher up and over her shoulder. Resting his hand on her cheek, he smiled leaning over and kissing her forehead before there was a knock at the door. He quickly ran over hoping it wouldn’t wake her, he opened it to see his mother standing.

“Oh there you are Jiyongie.” She announced smiling as he put a finger to his lips to quiet her down before gesturing over his shoulder.

“Omo, she’s asleep.” She mentioned as he nodded, shutting the door behind him before turning to his mom.

“We got everything ready for her party.” Omma mentioned as Jiyong sighed.

“When did she fall asleep?” She asked in a whisper as he looked down to his watch.

“20 minutes ago. Want me to wake her up?” Jiyong asked as she sighed, shaking her head.

“No, we can do it in the morning. She needs her rest.” Omma pointed out before Jiyong nodded.

Jiyong followed his mother downstairs to where Dami was waiting in the living room.

“Omo, where is she?! We got a ton of things for the baby.” Dami cheered pointing to all the various bags that now littered the room. Jiyong shook his head, knowing that it was evident that his mother and sister would have gone overboard shopping for everything.

“How do you expect me to take that back to the house tomorrow?” Jiyong asked walking over to count the dozens of boxes and bags that littered the floor.

“Why?! We can bring it down to you when you start setting up the nursery.” Omma mentioned sitting on the couch next to Dami. Jiyong nodded in defeat before sitting down.

“Where is she?” Dami asked confused as Omma smiled, patting her shoulder.

“We’ll give it to her in the morning, she’s asleep.” Omma mentioned as Dami nodded.

“So how is everything going between you two?” Omma asked changing the subject to Jiyong who looked up from his phone.

“It’s fine, she’s slowly growing comfortable with me.” Jiyong answered smiling in thought.

“Jiyongie you make sure you treat her right this time around. If you do anything behind her back again, I swear, you will lose in a custody battle because I’ll go against you.” Dami threatened causing him to sigh and look up.

“Noona.” He whined as Dami shrugged uncaring if he didn’t like her comment.

“I’m just saying, she’s been through enough without you, if you’re only going to hurt her again, while she is carrying your child, best you just let her go.” Dami mentioned seriously as Jiyong’s smile disappeared into a scowl.

“As much as I hate to admit Jiyongie, your sister is right. She’s been through enough, you need to decide what you want to do.” Omma broke the tension.

“I want to be with her, I want to be a family with her.” Jiyong whispered looking down to his lap.

“Are you sure? You won’t do a replay of what happened a few months ago?” Omma asked hesitantly while Jiyong sat quietly.

“I’m asking as your mother, I don’t want to see you throw something so good away so quickly like last time.” Omma pointed out as Jiyong shook his head immediately.

“I won’t ever hurt her, I won’t ever let her leave me.” Jiyong whispered letting the tears fall at the memories of the months he had to live without her.

“What about your fans? The media? What will happen when you announce to them about the baby?” Dami asked worried as Jiyong sighed, wiping his cheeks onto his arm.

“Not sure, but I won’t let them harm my family.” Jiyong threatened through his teeth, clenching his hands together in his lap.

“What’s your plan then?” Omma asked as Jiyong sighed looking up to the other 2 women in his life.

“Hoku doesn’t want anyone to know till after she gives birth, I don’t either. I’m not sure she could handle the extra stress.” Jiyong explained as they nodded in agreement.

“She can always come up here and stay with us if you ever have to leave town.” Dami offered as he nodded.

“That would be the safe way unless she refuses, you know her.” Jiyong answered as they chuckled and nodded.

“I’ll be working late for a few nights this week, so I have her staying with hyung.” Jiyong said not wanting to tell them about the secret he had planned for her birthday.

“Are you sure? She can come up here.” Omma answered before Jiyong shook his head.

“No, she’ll be fine, she wanted to bond with hyung’s new girl.” Jiyong wriggled his eyebrows teasingly causing the two girls to laugh.

“How is the new one?” Dami asked interested as Jiyong leaned back smiling.

“She’s different from Tyra-noona.” Jiyong explained as the two nodded.

“She’s very shy, shyer than we are used to. She’s innocent looking and quiet.” Jiyong explained as their eyes shot open.

“Wow, doesn’t sound like the type of girl he usually associates with.” Dami whispered to herself before Omma reached over to slap her arm.

“Aish Omma!” Dami whined rubbing her arm as Jiyong chuckled.

“When is she due again?” Omma asked

“Sometime in October, the beginning.” Jiyong answered as Omma nodded.

“So she’s about 7 months now.” Dami added as Jiyong nodded.

“What about her family? Are they going to come down when she goes into labor?” Omma asked pulling her legs up and under her on the couch.

“Hoku-ah said her mom is going to fly in with Jolie the week before she’s due.” Jiyong explained as the two nodded.

“What about your car Jiyongie? That’s not a car for a child.” Dami whined as Jiyong scoffed looking over to her outraged.

“Her father shipped her car over, it came in a few days ago.” Jiyong explained irritated.

“What kind of car?” Dami asked suspicious as Jiyong hissed in her direction.

“She had an SUV in the states, don’t worry. She’s more prepared for everything than you know.” Jiyong spoke jokingly. Everything was prepared, now it was just the waiting game.
