It was about 4 days till the surprise birthday party Hoku was throwing for Jiyong. From what Youngbae had texted Hoku this morning, all those that he had invited on behalf of Jiyong had all said they were going to come, so naturally she was excited to see them.

Today, she was meeting with YG and Teddy to ask for their help in her small but large birthday present she had planned for Jiyong. She was extremely nervous as she pulled up alone into the parking lot of YG. Naturally climbing out, she grabbed Elle in her car seat before she locked the doors to her SUV before swiftly walking over to the door at the side. Today, YG had started Big Bang’s schedules again in Korea, so Hoku was stuck with Elle, not like she cared. She was sure YG and Teddy would love to see her. Why was it always on point that she would feel paranoid? She froze when she placed her thumb on the reader before quickly turning, almost thinking that she had saw someone pull away around the corner of the wall right outside the security gate. Someone was watching, following her. She quickly ducked in the door and to the stairs at the right, where it led her downstairs to the studios where she had asked them to meet her. Going all the way towards the end of the hallway, she stopped outside the door, suddenly nervous as she saw YG sitting at the table with Teddy, speaking about something she couldn’t comprehend through the glass door. Sighing once more, she adjusted her outfit before finally knocking, getting their attention as YG smiled and stood up, waving her in. She smiled opening the door before Teddy basically ripped the car seat out of her hands and to the spot on the couch where he sat next.

“Omo! I haven’t seen you a while baby girl, you’re growing as gorgeous as your mama.” Teddy cooed as he pulled the blanket off to see her wide awake and cooing.

“Can I hold her?” Teddy then asked looking up to Hoku who just simply nodded.

“Of course.” She answered sitting down on one of the free seats while the two men discussed how to hold her properly. Hoku wasn’t  nervous though, YG was a father himself, he knew what was right.

“How are you doing Hoku-ah?” YG asked turning his chair to face her across the table. She sighed and nodded, smiling gently.

“So what’s with the sudden call? I never get a call from you.” Teddy teased causing Hoku to chuckle and look down to her fingers embarrassed.

“I actually have a favor I want to ask of you two, if that’s alright?” Hoku asked sheepishly getting the two older men attentions.

“Is everything alright?” Teddy now asked worried, unsure as how to take the unexpected offer. Hoku just smiled and nodded.

“I have an idea of the kind of gift that I want to give Jiyong on Saturday, but I need your help.” Hoku explained looking at the two men seriously.

“Well, what can we help with? You know by now that we would both do anything for you.” YG offered as Hoku smiled and nodded.

“I wrote him a song.” She quickly added as their eyes shot open.

“YOU WHAT?!” Teddy shouted the same way the girls had when she had first told them. Elle immediately began screaming in terror by suddenly being scared out of her diaper.

“Aish, I’m sorry.” Teddy apologized, standing up and patting her, hoping to calm her down. When she didn’t, Hoku stood and took her from him before going over to the bag she had brought with her necessities. Grabbing a full bottle, she walked back to her seat and put the bottle into before looking up to their still surprised expressions.
“Hoku-ah, you wrote him a song?” YG asked obviously unsure if he heard what he did, or was his age catching up with him? She just sighed and nodded.

“It might not be much, but I did it, and I wanted to know if you could help me with it.” Hoku explained as the two men looked to each other before looking to her.

“Do you have the lyrics or music sheet?” Teddy asked unsure as what to ask for. She just nodded and gestured over to her bag which teddy grabbed before putting on the table in front of her. Using one hand, she dug in the outside pocket before pulling out stapled pieces of paper before handing it over to the two men. Teddy quickly took it, adjusting his hat before skimming through the pages with YG. It was quiet for a long time as Hoku just simply stared down Elle eating quietly. Hoku would take glances at the men every once in a while, watching their expressions before she pulled the bottle out of . Burping Elle, she stood and walked over, putting the sleeping child back into her car seat before covering her with the blanket again.

“Hoku-ah.” A voice startled her as she turned to see YG and Teddy turned and now looking at her seriously.

“You wrote this?” YG asked sounding slightly surprised and shocked. Hoku just bit her lip and nodded, nervous.

“All of it? About Jiyong-ah?” Teddy then asked as she blushed before nodding.

“It’s incredible.” YG finally spoke as her eyes shot open in relief.

“Really?” She asked expectantly as Teddy nodded and walked over to the controls with the music sheet in his hands.

“Hoku-ah, you have some incredible composing skills.” YG praised as Hoku snorted smiling before shaking her head.

“No, no, no, Jiyong-ie and Teddy Oppa do, I just wrote what I was feeling about him.” Hoku quickly explained embarrassed.

“Baby girl, that’s usually what is used to write a song.” Teddy pointed out never turning back to her from the computer he was working at.

“So you want Teddy-ah to compose the instrumentals? Are you planning on singing this for him?” YG asked interested causing Hoku to blush again.

“I wanted to try and see what you both thought about it. I’m not that good but I still wanted to try.” Hoku explained as YG smiled before nodding.

“I put together a slide show that I wanted to play during this song also.” She added in an unsure whisper before looking over to Teddy.

“This song was so good, I easily put together an instrumental for it. Want to hear it?” Teddy pointed out causing her eyes to shoot open.
“Already?” She asked as he smiled and nodded, turning back to the computer to push the space bar to start it. Hoku stood there in surprise, hearing the beat play softly through the studio. Hoku played the lyrics she had worked so hard on through her mind with the beat of the music. It was perfect.

“You want to try it?” Teddy asked once he cut the beat causing her to blush.
“You won’t laugh at me right?” She scolded causing the two to chuckle.

“I won’t, but he might.’ Teddy pointed out gesturing over to YG who just smiled.

“I don’t laugh at such a thing, I give advice is all.” YG explained as Hoku sighed.

“Suddenly I feel nervous to try.” She muttered as Teddy chuckled, patting her arm which was closest to him.

“Jiyong will love it though.” He added as she looked down before smiling.

“Let’s try baby girl.” Teddy announced as Hoku nodded, taking those few steps it took to walk into the studio before she looked around in amazement.

“You know, through all the months I’ve been here, I don’t think I’ve ever been in one of these.” Hoku explained unsure if they could hear her through the sound proof studio box. Teddy chuckled before reaching forward and pressing a button.

“That’s because YG never lets anyone in them unless they are under his label.” Teddy pointed out causing her eyes to shoot open and step away from the mic she was standing by. YG chuckled and nodded, pressing the button also located on his table.

“This is a special event.” He added smiling at her reassuring.

“Well since you’ve never been in there, I’m assuming you don’t know how to work anything.” Teddy spoke causing her to chuckle and continue to look around.

“Oppa, have you ever seen that American Movie, Star Trek?” She spoke still in awe.

“Uh-huh, I think I have.” He added confused as she chuckled.

“Well this looks like some foreign spaceship, just like that show.” She teased causing him to laugh.

“Don’t worry, I’ll help. Put the earphones on first.” Teddy explained as she walked over, carefully pulling them from the stand before putting them over her head and on her head.

“Woah.” She whispered in surprise causing the guys outside to chuckle.
“I do have one favor.” She spoke into the microphone before turning to Teddy.

“What is that baby girl?” Teddy asked.

“I want to add the making process to the slideshow I’m making, so if one of you wouldn’t mind taking photos of me in here, I would appreciate it.” Before she could even finish the sentence, YG had already taken a photo of her surprising her.

“I’ll do it.” He smiled as she chuckled and nodded.

“Alright baby girl, let’s get started. The music will start, I say maybe after the 2^nd beat length at the beginning then start singing, alright?” Teddy mentioned as Hoku took a deep breath before nodding.

“You ready?” Teddy asked smiling as she sighed loudly and then nodded.

“I think so.” She whispered pulling the music sheet up onto the stand in front of her. All this for the man she loved.
