Hoku’s POV…

I still had a small surprise up my sleeve that no one knew about, it was the finale to my song that I had planned to sing. I nervously watched as the employees helped move the keyboard at the back of the stage, easy enough for me to move when it was time.

“What’s with the piano?” A voice startled as I looked over to see Eden, Steph, Selena and Crystal now standing around me. I swallowed heavily before looking back to give a small nod to the employees.

“Just part of my gift to Jiyong.” I answered quickly walking away before they could ask anymore.

Omma and Dami left a few minutes ago, it was hard to be honest, but I wanted this night to be about Jiyong, no matter how much I knew I was going to miss Elle, like my life depended on it, I wanted to give Jiyong everything he wanted out of me tonight. My undivided attention also.

Author’s POV…

“Come on hyung.” Seungri whined as they pulled up at Jiyong and Hoku’s house.

“I don’t know.” Jiyong explained back hesitant to go out tonight for some reason. They walked into the house following Jiyong in.

“Baby?” Jiyong called hoping to hear her voice, only getting the echo.

“Ji, I told you she was going out with the girls tonight.” Youngbae explained as Jiyong plopped down onto the couch, looking around in a daze.

“What about Elle?” Jiyong then asked as Youngbae sighed before sitting next to his friend.

“Ji, don’t worry about anything, it’s all taken care of, let’s just go out and have some fun.” TOP whined as Jiyong looked to his hyung before sighing.

“Fine, but can I at least call Hoku-ah to tell her I love her?” Jiyong asked pulling out his phone as Youngbae quickly ripped it out of his hand before throwing it to Daesung who barely caught it.

“Ya!” Jiyong snapped as Youngbae grabbed his arms to hold him down to the couch.

“Bro, chill out, let’s just go out and have some fun.” Youngbae explained causing Jiyong to sigh, sheepishly scratching the back of his neck.

“Fine.” He gave in as they all cheered.

They got ready for the night, looking dapper and ready to impress before climbing into the van.

“So where are we going?” Jiyong asked once they were comfortably sitting the back of the van. Youngbae whispered from the front seat to the Mr. Kim who in turn chuckled and nodded in understanding.

“Oh, let’s go to dinner.” Seungri whined from the very back as TOP snorted.

“No, let’s go have some fun.” TOP added looking down to his phone.

“Let’s go to Club Red.” Youngbae offered lighting Jiyong’s eyes up.

“Red?” Daesung asked unfazed as Youngbae nodded.

“Ji used to go to that club a lot before Hoku-ah came. “ Youngbae explained as Jiyong sat there in wonder.

“Oh that places got some great drinks.” TOP whispered in realization as Youngbae smirked.

“I like that place, let’s go, go, go!” Seungri cheered as Youngbae nodded to Mr. Kim who smirked and took a detour to said place.

We’re on our way. Just left your house.

Youngbae’s text went through as Hoku began welcoming those she knew from television, she was surprised to see some of them show up, she didn’t know Jiyong was friends with these people.

“Omo, you must be Hoku-ah.” A shrill voice said as Hoku turned from Teddy, looking over her shoulder to a tall slender man, dressed to impress. Her eyes shot open once the lights dimmed away from her face, she knew who it was.

“Oh my gosh, you’re Ji Kwon.” She whispered as he smiled, holding his hand out.

“Nice to meet you too.” He smiled as she shook his hand before shaking Teddy’s.

“I get to finally meet the woman behind the mask.” He teased as Hoku looked up to him confused. He chuckled at her reaction.

“Jiyong talks about you a lot, I was anxious to meet such a woman.” He teased as she laughed and nodded.

“It was so hard to keep this all a secret from him, but he’ll love it for sure.” He answered as she smiled and nodded, relieved. Suddenly her phone vibrated in the band around her abdomen. She pulled it out, opening the text before her eyes shot open.

“Omo, Oppa, it’s time.” She said frantic over to Teddy who nodded, chugging the rest of his cocktail before running off in the opposite direction.
“I would like to finish talking to you later tonight, but Jiyong’s on his way.” She mentioned to Ji Kwon who nodded, gesturing for her to go on her way as she bowed and did so. She pulled the mic down to , making her way through the crowds of people to the stage area where she was going to get set up at.

“The birthday boy is on his way, please contact when he is here.” She informed into the mic, finally making it to the side of the stage where Lydia was patiently waiting.

“Unnie!” She shouted as Lydia looked over from the sound board before smiling.

“Is he almost here?” She asked as Hoku nodded nervous causing Lydia to chuckle.

“You’ll do amazingly, we’ve practiced this a bunch of times, so don’t worry about anything.” Lydia reassured to the nervous woman who just simply nodded, holding her hands together.

“Everything set up for the slideshow?” Hoku whispered into the mic at her chin, looking out the curtain of the backstage to see Teddy Oppa speaking to the man where the projector was.

“Yes Hoku-ssi, everything is set up.” The employee answered back as a light shot out from the projector to the slideshow screen on the wall, showing Jiyong’s name and stage name bouncing around it in a design.

“Hoku-ssi, they are pulling up.” A voice mentioned into her ear as Lydia quickly handed her the mic smiling. Hoku took one deep breath before nodding, turning on her mic as she peeked out the curtain.

“1, 2, 3 check.” She spoke into the mic, nodding to Lydia who turned down the music to a dim beat getting everyone’s attention.
“I want to thank you all for coming during your busy schedules. The birthday boy has just pulled up in front of the club, so if you wouldn’t mind shouting surprise when I give the cue, I would really appreciate it.” Hoku spoke as she walked on stage into view of everyone. Lydia and Teddy walked onstage behind Hoku as she placed the mic into the stand in front of her. It was so nerve wrecking standing there on stage in the middle of the spotlight while we patiently waited. I looked up to the doors where he would enter to see the girls all patiently waiting for their other halves to come in. This would be hilarious nonetheless since only Youngbae knew from the band. I smiled at everyone, my eyes landing on a few familiar faces, 2NE1, Gummy, Psy, Tablo, Seven, YG dancers, stylists, YG, along with many, many designers and various singers that Jiyong was close to. Finally my phone rung getting everyone attention since my mic was still on. I smiled at them pulling my phone out before waving it to get their attention. It was Youngbae.

“YA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Jiyong shouted annoyed finding it confusing why he was suddenly jumped by Youngbae who insisted he wear some sort of blindfold around his eyes.

“Hyung, what are we doing?” Seungri asked panicked in the backseat where he was holding Jiyong with an equally confused Daesung.

“Just help me, you’ll know soon enough.” Youngbae said through his teeth as he tied it around his head.
“Come on Ji, get out of the van, before we torture you some more.” Youngbae whined once they were out of the van, now waiting for the moping idol sitting in the van.
“I’m not getting out. There is no way in hell I’m climbing out there like this.” He retorted causing s to snort.

“Ya! It’s just a blindfold, stop acting like a pissy teenager.” TOP spoke annoyed with having to wait out in the open with crazed fans everywhere.

“For the love of god, get out Hyung.” Daesung whined as they finally pulled him out causing the fans watching to scream and take photos. They dragged him into the entryway before pulling off the blindfold.

“Was that really necessary?” Jiyong asked annoyed, fixing his hair as Youngbae chuckled and shrugged.

“Not really, I just like messing with you.” Youngbae teased as Jiyong growled reaching over before whacking him on his shoulder.

“But we do have a surprise for you.” Youngbae mentioned as everyone turned to him confused.

“We do?” TOP asked confused as Youngbae rolled his eyes before turning to his friend and nodded.

“Fine, I have a surprise.” He answered as Jiyong hesitantly looked around to only see two large men with security shirts standing in front of the usual doors to the club.
“This is Red right?” Jiyong asked unsure as Youngbae nodded from his phone before looking up with a smile.

“Yup.” He answered as TOP stretched his neck.
“When was Red this quiet?” TOP asked confused as Seungri blinked in confusion walking over to the door before placing his ear on it.

“It’s dead quiet in there.” Seungri mentioned gesturing to the door as Youngbae chuckled.

“Go on Birthday Boy.” Youngbae teased as Jiyong hesitantly took the few steps towards the door, pushing one up slowly to see that the room was pitch black with the few floors lights on.

“It’s so dark in here.” Seungri whispered from over Jiyong’s shoulder as they stood on the top stair to the club, trying to strain their eyes. Before any of them could register what was going on, the lights shot on showing the dozens of people shouting SURPRISE at a flabbergasted Jiyong.

“Omo.” Seungri squealed jumping against the closet thing he could grab. Surprisingly for him, it was soft, warm and smelt good.

“Oh, hyung, what kind of perfume do you use?” He asked turning to see the annoyed face of Selena looking at him.

“Oh baby!” He cheered as Jiyong looked over still in shock to all the familiar faces.

“What is all of this?” He asked to Youngbae who walked over, wrapping an arm around his shoulder before smiling.

“A surprise birthday party, what else?” Youngbae asked as the 3 others stood behind them, equally surprised.

“You set this all up?” He asked Youngbae chuckled before shaking his head.

“Not me. Her.” He answered gesturing to the stage area as a beat began to play through the club getting everyone’s attention. It was a beat that wasn’t known for club life, but catchy nonetheless. Hoku stepped up into the spotlight, smiling as she held the mic to her lips.
