It’s been two weeks since the wedding, Hoku and Michael were still working for their father’s company, naturally Hoku had needed to head back home tomorrow but with the way her father was receiving calls from Korea in hopes of being funded, she had been asked to stay another week and take care of things.

“Ugh, I feel like I’m dying.” Stephanie moaned coming out of the bathroom before plopping down on her bed.

“Baby, are you sure you don’t want me to stay home with you?” Daesung asked worried, watching as she crawled under the comforters.

“Just go, I’ll be fine. Selena’s coming over.” Stephanie mentioned waving her hand over the comforter as he hesitantly stood from the bed. He walked over to her side of the bed, gently kissing her on her temple before walking out of the apartment they were renting while in town. The moment the door shut, Stephanie pulled the comforter down and sighed. She had never been this sick before in her life, the only other time being the one chance she had caught the flu from someone in class. She groaned holding her aching head before sighing. What a time to get sick?!

“I’m here!” Selena announced using the spare key Daesung had given her in case of an emergency.

“In here!” Stephanie shouted back as Selena kicked her shoes off and walked over to where her voice was coming from.

“Geez, you’re still in bed?” Selena asked pushing open the bedroom door to see Stephanie sprawled out on the bed. Stephanie groaned in reaction before rolling away from her.

“I feel like crap.” Stephanie seethed from under the comforter as Selena walked in and took a seat on that side of the room.

“Still sick? How long as it been?” Selena asked slightly concerned for her friend.

“I don’t know, a few days.” Stephanie mentioned as Selena nodded.

“Any other symptoms except for the excessive vomit?” Selena asked shivering a bit before Stephanie sat up to sip water from the cup next to her bed.

“Except for not being able to keep food down, I have a constant headache and heat flashes.” Stephanie whispered before Selena chuckled as Steph looked to her confused.

“Me suffering amuse you?” Stephanie asked annoyed before Selena shook her head.

“I was just thinking how much you remind me of some pregnant woman right now.” Selena teased before Stephanie’s eyes shot open in horror.

“Oh no.” She whispered quickly climbing out of bed before running towards the bathroom, digging through her toiletries bag.

“What’s up?” Selena asked from the doorway as Stephanie sat on the bathroom floor, her bag open in front of her.

“I’m late.” She whispered as Selena stepped further in.
“What?” She asked not hearing what she had said.

“How long has it been since the wedding?” Stephanie asked looking up to Selena with glassy eyes.

“Um, 14 days, why?” Selena asked as Stephanie hung her head, pulling her knees up to her chest before loudly sighing.

“Can you just tell me what’s up?” Selena asked annoyed before Stephanie looked up to her.

“My period, its late.” Stephanie whispered as Selena’s breath stuck in .

“Wait? What?!” Selena practically shouted down at her before she nodded.

“I was so busy with helping Daesung with his promotional activities that I haven’t even realized that it never came.” She whispered looking down to the brand new box of tampons sitting in her bag.

“Aish.” Selena hissed plopping onto the toilet seat in front of Stephanie.

“This can’t be happening right now.” She whispered massaging her temples.

“Alright, what we need to do first is see if you are really pregnant. You could be sick for a ton of other reasons.” Selena mentioned as Stephanie nodded, slightly relieved.

“I’ll go get some tests and be right back, alright?” Selena quickly stood before she nodded. Stephanie sat on the bathroom floor just staring from her hands to her stomach to the box of tampons sitting in between her. What happens if she’s pregnant? Daesung is in the middle of his promotional activities, his solo career is finally taking off, and here she is, high potential of being pregnant.

“You know, now that you mention it, you’re starting to glow.” Selena broke her thoughts walking back into the bathroom with about a dozen different tests.

“Did you get enough?” Steph asked sarcastically as Selena dropped the two bags to the floor.

“Well you want to make sure right? Plus they say sometimes they can be faulty.” Selena explained as Stephanie nodded and stood up.

“Just do one of each box, then we need to wait 3 minutes.” Selena instructed as Stephanie did as told, doing one of each, placing them into the bath tub before leaving the room, unable to go in there and see what the verdict was.

“Hello~!” A voice cheered into the apartment startling the two girls sitting on the bed.

“Oh god.” Stephanie whispered surprised as Selena stood up and walked over to lock the bedroom door.

“Girls?!” he called as Selena turned to Steph, putting a finger to her lips.

“Girls, you in there?!” Seungri shouted through the door knocking as the girls patiently waited before Selena’s phone began blaring.

“Damn him.” She hissed shutting her phone off before turning to the door. She unlocked in and glared at Seungri on the other side.

“Oh, hey baby.” He said smiling, leaning forward for a kiss before she pushed his chest.

“What are you doing here?” She seethed as he blinked in confusion looking to Selena and then to Stephanie still sitting on the edge of the bed.

“Omo, noona, you don’t look too good.” He pointed out as Stephanie chuckled before nodding.

“Is she alright?” Seungri whispered before Selena nodded, waving off his comment.

“Wait? Is she still sick?” He asked concerned before Selena nodded.

“Omo, noona, you should go see a doctor, soon.” He spoke worried as Selena grabbed his face, turning his attention back to her before a beeping noise emitted from the room. Selena and Steph’s ears perked up before they looked at each other.

“It’s time.” Selena mentioned uncaring that Seungri was still standing in the doorway before Steph and Selena walked into the bathroom, looking into the tub.

“Omo.” Steph whispered holding a hand to as she looked down, letting the tears fall.
