10 | A Request

 

SMART - Headquarters

5 hours later

 

"20 costumers, 15 restaurant staffs and 10 outside the road, including a six year old girl. They're all dead. A total of 15 injured people on the other hand. This happens 12:50pm. Exactly 20 minutes later when I and my sister arrived at Western Restaurant. Now, the government is on high alert. People around Seoul are now scared. The President have also tasked SMART to locate the bomber as soon as possible. But the problem is, we have no lead. The bomber was sure so wise to put the bomb in a non secured place. Meaning, no CCTV camera -unsecured road - the restaurant doesn't either have a  security guard that time. Good thing is, the Western Restaurant has their CCTV. Hyo is now looking on it if they have captured the bomber. Manager and owner of Eastern Restaurant was apparently out of the place - he's on the way to release a statement about the explosion." Onew ended his report with a sigh, in front of the other Agents - including the Agency's board of Directors. Turning on his back, he turned the monitor to the next slide, showing the devastated site of the restaurant. He returned to the Agents and took a deep breath before uttering, "Let's take a moment of silence first for the victims." he looked down, leading them all in praying the souls of the victims. With that, everyone in the Agency bowed their heads in silence.

 

Meanwhile, Yoona who just woke up from her deep slumber almost did not know where is she. But when she realized she's still in SMART, she let out a sigh of relief. She put her feet on the floor and stand on it, casually heading to the bathroom. She looked at herself in front of the mirror, couldn't believe what just happened. 

 

Screaming of people - the horrible scene on the road - they're still so fresh in her mind and ears. That must be not the first time she encountered it, but in her fresh memory, it's the first time. And it feels a bit uncomfortable for her. It's bothering her for instance.

 

Shaking her head in attempt of shaking the thoughts off of her mind, she opens the faucet and began washing her face. She did it for the next 3 minutes, until she was satisfied - she stood straight again, fiercely looking straight to her reflection. "If I was once of the Agents, I shouldn't be bother anymore. I should just ignore what I saw. Yeah, that's it Im Yoona. Go for it." She sheepishly cheered herself up, holding up a fist in the process.

 

She walked out her room and picked up her hair tie. She tied her hair in a ponytail and finally walked out the room. There was a long hallway that greets her. As she casually started walking, heading to the main office of the Agency, she saw Minhyuk walking out his room.

 

"Oh, Minhyuk right?" She did not hesitate and rushed to him.

 

Minhyuk bowed immediately in respect to the older girl and basically a former Agent.

 

"Um, You-You don't have to actually do it. But, where are you going? I mean, what is happening now?" Yoona can't help it and think of what she just missed during her nap.

 

"The Agency is busy investigating the explosion. You can see it for yourself if we proceed now to the main office." Minhyuk informed, giving Yoona a way.

 

Speechless, Yoona simply put a simple smile and walk with Minhyuk side by side, as they made their way to the office.

 

"Where's Agent Seo?" Asked Yoona aloud, as she and Minhyuk find themselves, in front of a busy office. They keep on scanning the surroundings until it was the younger Agent that saw Seohyun not far from where they're standing.

 

"Oh, there. She's with Hyo and other Agents." Minhyuk pointed.

 

"Thanks." Yoona did not hesitate and jogs her way to Seohyun and the others. Minhyuk couldn't missed a single details and also followed right after. They both stood just in the corner, as they listen to Hyo's report. Since they arrived a bit late, they could not understand what was happening. When finally the report was done, Yoona quickly grab Seohyun's hand and drag her in the corner. Minhyuk on the other hand asks the other Agents to explain it to him.

 

"Yoona, you just woke up, were you?" Seohyun raised her brows.

 

"What did Hyo said earlier? I couldn't understand."

 

Seohyun made a little sigh before she drag Yoona on her desk. She let her sit another leather chair and opens the her monitor - wherein - she's showing the possible members of a terrorist group.

 

"Who are they?" Yoona squint her eyes to the monitor.

 

"They're the possible members of Greenlight Group. Hyo is suspecting they're the One responsible for it."

 

"Who is Luna there?" Yoona innocently wanted to know.

 

Seohyun clicked Luna's picture and it zooms in, allowing for them to have a closer look of the girl. "She's expert both in combat and bomb. As you can see, the picture came from the Agency. She really fooled the Agency for personal interests only. Not for protecting the city."

 

"Such a bad girl, Isn't she?" Yoona felt bad for both Seohyun and the rest of the Agency.

 

"Yes. And I regretted why I trusted her. But at least, I didn't trust her well."

 

"You... Do you love her?" Yoona can't help it and ask the young Agent.

 

Seohyun smiled amusingly at Yoona's question. "You. Are you really courting? Coz I feel like you are interviewing me only."

 

"I was just curious." Yoona purse her lips cutely.

 

"I was just kidding as well. Hehe." Seohyun snickers. "Anyway, to answer your question -- No. I never really loved her."

 

"Chincha? Then why did you dated her?" Yoona's mood just lightened the moment she heard 'No', from the girl's mouth.

 

'Aigoo, if only I can actually tell you honestly.' In Seohyun's thoughts before she decided to answer, "Just you know - to hang out and anything. And She actually courted me as well." She glanced behind Yoona after she said it. She still can see the agents are monitoring the news over their monitors.

 

"Then you agreed to date her without any feelings involve?" Yoona was clueless what is Seohyun staring behind her.

 

"Yes. She made me think she's a good girl - So I did." Seohyun answered casually, staring back to Yoona's gazes softly. 

 

"But turns out not." Yoona sighed. She took Seohyun's hands and held it in place. "Don't worry, I'm not like her." She smiled charmingly. "I will take care of you, Seobabes."

 

Looking down to their hands, Seohyun had some few butterflies inside her stomach again. Despite the pressure she's currently holding because of the explosion, she can still able to do this with Yoona. Looking back to the doe-eyed, she held her back and answers. "I know. You're my best friend after all." She softly utters, smiling back.

 

"Best friend... that sounds-"

 

"Agent Seo? Can I have a word with you?"

 

Seohyun and Yoona's attention averted to Onew right away.

 

"Y-Yeah, Oppa. Um, Excuse me Yoong. Be back later." Seohyun mutters, as she got up, releasing her hold with with Yoona right away. Yet, it took only 5 steps away from her when she decided to turn on her back and says, "Don't go anywhere. Let's go home together - Araso?" She felt so protective already, after the incident.

 

"Yes. I'm waiting here in your desk only." Yoona reassuringly stated, winking in the process. If only she can join them, she would gladly do. But her father forbid her to get on the other Agents' work.

 

"That's good. Just approach me whenever you want."

 

"Yes, Ma'am." Yoona saluted playfully, earning a chuckle from the younger girl. Then, she completely left with her brother. With that, her attention averted to the monitor. Luna's face is still showed in the monitor. She couldn't help it and looked at her with eyebrows rising. Fortunately, she can feel familiarity over the girl. She wasn't sure if because she already know her from the past or, she recently encountered with her? She keeps on staring at her, as she move deeply into her memory. Until when it hits her - "Aha! Back in LA. I've seen her." Yes, a week before she was discharged from the hospital she really can remember it was this girl. "Or did I even talk to her?"

 

Flashback...

 

Yoona had been in her ward for the past 2 hours since Tiffany have left to go home - to bring her new clothes. She can no longer take it. So she kicked herself out of the hospital bed and drags the dextrose's stand with her, as she made her way out.

 

Turning on her right and on her left, the hallway is quiet with only few patients walking. She decided to go out instead, so she can have some fresh air. It had been 3 days since she woke up from a coma - and she had never gone outside. She missed to see the outside.

 

While walking, she felt a bit uncomfortable. Not only because of the foreigner patients walking pass at her, but also to nurses and doctors. She felt a bit scared every time they'll see them.

 

Sigh. However, she was able to go out despite have a little fear.

 

She proceeds to a swing she saw in the Hospital's garden. She closes her eyes and smiled from ear to ear the moment she felt that wind, brushing smoothly her bare arms. It feels so fresh - and yet, cold at the same time. Thus, she liked it. She loved it.

 

Opening her eyes after a while, she looked up into the sky and just in time, a plane is passing by. After a while, she can see birds. That made her brighter.

 

"Are you alone?"

 

But just as she wants to enjoy the view up in the sky, she heard a voice just next to her. She compose herself back - only to see a girl, wearing a white furry jacket and skinny jeans. "Hmm?" She really doesn't recognize the girl.

 

The girl smiled at her and took the empty swing next to her. "I'm Jenna by the way." She extended her hand towards her.

 

"Jenna? Um, Do I know you? Do you know me?" Yoona has no intentions being rude, but she has no idea who the girl was. She couldn't trust immediately.

 

"That's why I'm introducing myself right? Um, I don't really know you as well, but I was quiet bored - would you mind accompanying me?" The girl said, smiling so friendly towards her.

 

"Um... O-Okay." Yoona could not decline somehow. "I'm Im Yoona." So she introduce herself as well.

 

There was a moment of silence from the stranger, just staring at her for quiet a moment before she took Yoona's hand and shake it. "Nice to meet you. Are you new here? I mean... I think I just saw you here... around the hospital. I honestly have a friend inside and she'd been here for two months now." 

 

"Oh, I'm not new. I think 2 months too." Yoona answered, not sure with it.

 

"I see. What happened to you?"

 

Yoona sighed. "According to my fiance, We encountered an accident. I was in a coma for few months... and then when I woke up, I didn't know either my name. Just recently, I find out my name is Im Yoona and I'm engage with the girl named Tiffany Hwang."

 

"So you had an amnesia?" The girl frowned.

 

"Yes. That was they call it." Yoona looked down to her lap, suddenly feeling sad. It made her heart tightened, knowing that she has no memories either from her childhood. And who was her parents. Does she even have a brother? Sister?

 

"Hey, what's wrong?" The girl poke at her shoulder.

 

"I'm just sad. I feel so incomplete having no memories inside my brain. And I can only remember some new events. The worse, they're all in the hospital. Aigoo, I'm sorry for sharing this." Yoona felt a bit weird for herself that she immediately shared what is she feeling inside.

 

"No, it's o... kay. If I were in your position, I think I would feel the same." The girl flashed Yoona a smile once again.

 

Yoona smiled back. "Yeah... " as she could not say anything anymore.

 

"What are your plans?"

 

"Hmm?"

 

"I mean... aren't you curious of your family? Your past?"

 

"I don't know yet. I'm still recovering from my accident. I would sure to think that again after I'll be discharged." Yoona answered with no doubts.

 

"That girl Tiffany. How was she when you first saw her after your coma?" The girl suddenly asked about her so called 'fiance'.

 

"She's... she's good. But my first impression was a bit... she's like a bad person? But later on, I was wrong. She's good to me. Why?" Yoona innocently raised her brows.

 

"Of course, she's your fiance after all, hehe silly me. Anyway, it was nice talking with you." The girl got up and patted her shoulder. Yoona's attention somehow shifted to a man who just approach them. But instead of greeting her, the girl named 'Jenna', walked out with him. That stranger Jenna did not say something anymore, as they left the hospital that instant. Having no clue who were them, Yoona just shrug and continue enjoying the sky.

 

End of Flashback...

 

"Oh God." Yoona gasped when it wasn't Luna only that she recognized. The man that left with her is also part of Greenlight. "Jung Jinwoon?" He recognized him well, even though he seemed like he only fetch Luna in the hospital. Jinwoon, is an IT Professional, according to the profile she's reading.

 

Yoona couldn't help it and held her head, as she keeps on staring back to Luna and the Jinwoon guy. She has no idea why they approached her in the hospital, but she felt really curious, why? They did not put any bomb in the hospital right? Because if they have, the hospital must have already exploded. And for sure, she's not in Seoul now.

 

Looking around, she stops half way when she caught the sight of Seohyun, seriously reporting in front of the other Agents. Next to the latter, a monitor, showing Jinwoon.

 

"Seriously, why did they approach me back in LA? Why?" She's totally getting more curious and puzzled now at the same time. 

 

Looking back to the monitor, she can see two more members with their profile and, "Unknown two members?" two black figure of a person was marked as unknown. "How did they know about these members? This is so cool." Heck, she wonders how did SMART was able to know the members of Greenlight and even have a pictures of them. "SMART is indeed, smart." mutters her, impressed.
