09 | Explosion

 

 

Seohyun's Apartment

17 days left

 

 

Groaning, Seohyun opened her eyes momentarily, letting out a huge yawn at the same time. She stretch on her limbs for quiet some time before deciding to sit up. She made some stretch again as her head turned to the window in her right. The day is so bright, she feels like going on a jogging. But before she can leave the bed, lied back and closed her eyes - for only a couple of minutes - she had a nap. Then, her eyes open again - she jumps off that instant and animatedly rushed to her shower - not missing from picking up her towel.

 

An hour later, after her usual jogging and lifting weights, she find herself having a cup of coffee, hot toasted bread while reading a newspaper. Likewise it's her daily routine, reading news articles on newspapers. There's no surprising anyhow in every news she's going to read. They're always about crime, drugs, and a lot more that against the law. Oops, it's not also about that - that she likes to read newspaper. The crossword puzzle is always her favorite. It's her habit to answer all the puzzles. And for a record, she will finish it only for just One minute.

 

*Beep*

 

Upon hearing her smartphone's tone, just next to her cup, She just casually checked it without picking up her phone.

 

Yoona:

[Good morning~ Seobabes~]

 

She can't help but smile despite her seriousness on her breakfast. The nickname is just so silly - but it gives her reason to smile. For sure, she's also smiling on the other side. 

 

Without hesitations, she answered,

 

to Yoona:

[Good morning :) Are you having a good... morning?]

 

She was able to have a sip on her coffee first before Yoona's answer arrives.

 

Yoona:

[Yes. It was because, there were no nightmares anymore unlike the other night.

But there are still few images that I can not understand >.<]

 

"Images? From the past?" Seohyun squint her eyes.

 

Another messages was sent by Yoona.

 

Yoona:

[I have no clue if it's from our High School, but most of them are in a locker.

It's like, I can see myself sneaking sticky notes to a certain locker. Do I like sticky notes in our High School?

I don't seem to remember. 

Then, just before I open my eyes, I've seen an image of a girl, shouting to another girl. They seemed to be fighting.

I think I'm really getting paranoid. No? But I guess, they're part of my past life. (sigh)]

 

Seohyun also sighed, feeling empathy for the doe-eyed. It must be hard for her to have experience it. 

 

to Yoona:

[Take your time. Don't think for it too much. 

Sooner or later - you'll get to understand it.

Believe me, if you don't think of it, it will just easily pass by.]

 

"How can I bring her to the Agency? I think she should really be in that room before the time is over." Mutters her, while she re-reads the messages coming from the girl.

 

Yoona:

[Can I see you today?

I want to ask you more about our trainee days.

I'm honestly alone now. Tiffany just left the house.]

 

"Oh yeah, Tiffany has her job now." She mumbles. 

 

Yoona:

[It's Okay, right? Please?]

 

She literally let out a sigh at Yoona's persistent. Thus, she's willing to help the girl. Plus, she has to make sure she's always safe. Luna is just around. She can not let something bad happen towards her. She's her friend and responsibility after all.

 

to Yoona:

[We're friends - How can I say no? ^^]

 

-

 

Yoona:

[Yay! ;) I'll see you later Seobabes~ ]

 

"Gosh, Can she stop calling me that? Ugh." Seohyun eventually groan, couldn't hold the giddiness inside her chest. It's as if, it will always beat weirdly if Yoona would do some flirt. She's really getting into her nerves - in a good way. "Aish." Getting up, she picked up her dishes and put it on the sink. There was only a couple of minutes as she finished washing it. Then, proceeds picking up her leather black jacket and casually wore it. She left the apartment afterwards - riding on her usual Romeo car.

 

 

Im Residency

9:50am

 

"Since when did you started using specs Agent Seo?" The Security in the gate did not missed and asks the regular visitor of the house. He knew her ever since then. And it surprised him that the young agent is wearing specs. She looks like a nerd hot agent on it. 

 

The addressed girl just flashed him a wide smile, as she stepped out from the car and opens her back seat. She picked up a box of cake and a box of donuts from the seat before she closes the car door using her heels. "Is Yoona around?" She asked to make sure the girl did not left the house.

 

"She's in the kitchen, Agent Seo." Informed the Security. Heck, can't help it and looked at the young agent from head to toe. She's wearing her usual Agent in black Aura again. It made her really look so fashionable.

 

"Thank You." Seohyun ignored the Security's obvious jaw dropping, and headed to the house almost immediately. She skipped the big living room and headed straight to the kitchen. "Wow. What are you doing, Yoong?" Yet, she did not expect and see the amnesia girl doing some stuff. Or more like, she can see how she's helping their chef. She knows Yoona is fond of cooking but she doubts if she still remembers it.

 

"You got some cake?" Yoona asks the moment she saw Seohyun by the door. She blink for a couple of times, as she did not expect to have seen her wearing an all black outfit. Not to mention, her specs.

 

"Yes. For you. And some donuts." Seohyun enthusiastically says, putting the cake down to the table. "You like donuts a lot Yoong. You don't remember?"

 

"Do I?" Yoona's eyebrows innocently raised.

 

"Ahh, yeah." Seohyun mentally smack her head. She remembers, Yoona had been into it only during there trainee days. Yoona's memory capacity is so far from childhood until High School. "It was in our trainee days when you started to like this. For four years, you've been eating this with me during break time. Or sometimes, we go to the cafe." She corrected herself. "And have our favorite drinks as well."

 

"Chincha? What do we usually drink?" Yoona was curious. She left what was she's doing and sat down with Seohyun.

 

"Wait, I thought you are cooking? Why don't you finish it?"

 

"Hmm? Oh, that was only some cookies we're doing. It's going to finish later." Yoona said, opening the box of donuts. It made her gulped once she saw the colorful donuts inside. "These looks so tasty." She picked up one and  didn't hesitate to open so big - having a big bite in the process.

 

Seohyun giggles. "You never changed. Your mouth still opens like that. Um, we always like to drink tea every after sweets."

 

"Hmm?" Yoona couldn't answer. She was munching while smiling so bright towards the girl.

 

"Babo." Seohyun also picked up one donut and casually bite on it.

 

"By the way, I have good news." Yoona finally can answer, after she swallowed her food.

 

"You already told me through text." Seohyun has no idea at all. "Is this the same?

 

"Nope. The one I sent is not the same."

 

"Just tell me." Seohyun rolled her eyes back, annoyed a little.

 

"Appa." Yoona grinned.

 

Seohyun chuckles. "What about your father?"

 

"I ask him if I can go with you in the Agency. And he said yes." Yoona's bright face just got even brighter, as she felt so excited.

 

Seohyun's eyes doubled. "No kidding?" did not expect to her the information coming from Yoona.

 

"Why? You don't like it?"

 

"No. I-I mean... Your father really granted your request?"

 

"Yep. Just earlier before he left to the Agency. He said we'll see each other there." Yoona happily and excitedly shared. "And I guess he will introduce me back to the Agency."

 

"I never thought he could actually allow you. I thought he wasn't planning either in bringing you there." Seohyun was sure surprised with this sudden decision from Director Im. But there was a part of her that was happy. She could tell the old man to bring Yoona to that machine.

 

"Well, I requested. Hehe." Yoona sheepishly answered.

 

"So we are really spending so much time for each other now?"

 

The doe-eyed nodded her head vigorously. Seohyun chuckles softly. She picked up another donut, but Yoona got it so fast. She looked at her in disbelief.

 

"The chocalate donut - they're so delicious." Yoona smiled and did not hesitate to eat it in one time.

 

"Whoa. That was so big." Seohyun frowned. "How could you?"

 

Unable to say anything, the doe-eyed girl could only show two thumbs up. Seohyun couldn't react anymore. She feed herself while staring back to the adorable face of her friend - who was having a hard time munching on her whole donut. Her face is like a blow-fish. She couldn't hold back and really laugh.  Yoona also wants to laugh. But the fact that she has to swallow the food first is preventing her. She take her time instead while watching the girl before her eyes couldn't stop from laughing. She felt like thousands of butterflies flying in her stomach - just by watching the girl. It's silly but she can't deny it. After a while, she had finish it and Seohyun is really so red, cupping her cheeks.

 

"Do you really laugh like that?" Yoona asked, amusingly.

 

"It's just too funny, you're like a blow-fish." Seohyun was embarrass. She shake her head lightly and sighed heavily. "Was it bad?"

 

"Nope. You're cute and adorable." Yoona praised, directly.

 

Seohyun got even redder, earning a chuckle from the doe-eyed. She pouted and looked down to her lap. Yoona couldn't hold back and pinch her cheeks.

 

"I'm just going to change my clothes - and we'll go to the Agency." Yoona says and excitedly left the kitchen.

 

Seohyun's eyes averted to the chef, who also looks at her. "Did I mention the Amnesia Yoona version is different from the one I've known?"

 

"We have the same thoughts Agent Seo." The chef chuckled lightly.

 

"Though it's refreshing to see her like this - so adorable... I still missed the girl I've known for so long. The Yoona I have been with for a decade is sweet, kind, caring, charming, lovable and sometimes, playful." Seohyun couldn't stop herself but reminisce those times in their trainee days. "The Yoona I am seeing right now is so innocent - almost like she's a child - she doesn't know some few stuffs. Well, it's understandable. She has no past in her brain as of the moment. But later, I know she would be whole again. And I want to see the old Yoona I knew back then."

 

The chef could only put a smile on his face, as he returned his attention to the oven. Seohyun, she looked at the remaining donuts - reminded by the past.

 

Flashback...

 

"Omo. Omo. DONUUUTS!!!"

 

Seohyun almost fall on her bed the moment Yoona barge in to her room. She was at the middle of combing her hair when Yoona just made her surprise appearance. She glared at her - showing that she doesn't like her sudden barge. But the other girl isn't either paying attention. She climbed to her bed and put the box of donuts. Then, she took two of it - putting it on her eyes like a spec.

 

"I knew it. The name Seo Joohyun is only for a beautiful gorgeous girl - staring at me with those beautiful eyes despite her intense glare. My magic spec surely doesn't lie. The girl is the best girl I've ever seen in my whole life." Yoona said with no doubts, wearing idiotic smiles.

 

Snapping the two donuts, Seohyun also strikes back, "I can see a future stupid Agent. She's always boring - making fun of donuts. Tsk,tsk."

 

Yoona stole the two donuts again and wore it on her eyes, "My magic specs sees that you're lying. Instead, I can see you are telling me - My friend is handsome, kind, sweet, and most of all... the best partner ever in the whole Universe."

 

"Yah!" Seohyun couldn't take it and stole the one donut, only to eat them vigorously. 

 

Yoona chuckles, but she eventually followed eating the other donuts. They end up finishing the rest of it - until they lied down, so full.

 

"My Magic Specs Donuts are the best, aren't they?" Yoona sneered, looking into the ceiling with a burp.

 

Seohyun let out a big burp before answering, "Magic Specs Donuts - they're the best if it comes from you."

 

"Really? So would you mind?" Yoona tap her cheeks with her finger, indicating that she wants a kiss.

 

Cheekily, Seohyun leaned in and did not hesitate - yet, as she got closer, Yoona turned, kissing her lips in the process. She literally freezes at the moment, cheeks turned so red, heartbeats are racing so fast.

 

"Hehe. Peace." Yoona showed a peace sign, giggling.

 

Seohyun grabs Yoona on the neck with her arm, playfully trying to kill her.

 

"HELP! SOMEONE HELP MEEEEE!!! HAHAHA!!!" Yoona is laughing so hard. When she had her chance, she flipped them over - but she regretted it - finding herself breathless the moment she realized their faces. Just inches away. She can't take her eyes to those red and kissable lips. Without a single word, she slowly leaned down and kissed Seohyun on the lips.

 

Seohyun's hands formed into a fist, as she closes her eyes tightly, at the same time, holding her breath in. It's too much - too much to handle. But heck, did she like Yoona's lips against hers. They're so soft like a cotton candy. Oh, how much she wanted to squeal right now. Yet, Yoona is still pressing her lips withougt moving.

 

Until a beep was heard, Yoona's eyes opens, quickly leaning out from her friend. "Oh, What just happened?" She coyly asked, flashing a big grin towards the younger girl.

 

Seohyun was speechless - but she had manage to pinch Yoona's cheeks so hard.
