Intro | Yoona's Character

"... Lately, theyve been series of reports about people being killed in a brutal way. Witnesses says they're being choke through the plastic until they die... "

The distinct faint voices coming from a certain television woke a very lazy girl up from her slumber. Her eyes traveled from her phone to her TV screen.

"... But some says, it might be just the police's excuse. Because according to an investigation conducted personally by the team, witnesses says, they saw two small wounds from the victim's neck. It's quiet funny that they're saying a vampire bite is the reason of their death. But so far no one from the police have confirmed such theories by the witnesses..."

The mention of vampire caused the lazy girl from her couch to slowly pull herself up and grabs her remote control fom the coffee table. She did not mind if the next door will hear it as she turned the volume up, listening very immensely to the report, that honestly caused for her heart to beat faster than usual.

Suddenly, her phone rings from the side, she got startled but quickly took it. She rolled her eyes back a she finds out it came from one of her friends. She just toss it back and continue listening to the report, like it was a new thing for her.

Another ring have startled her, she hesitantly picked it up and hastily answered, "Hey." After confirming it's her father.

[Are you listening to the news right now?]

"Is this live or not?" She sarcastically answered back.

[I will not call if its not. You got a job to do.]

"But the reports aren't stating any suspects. How can I have my lead?" She turned off her television and stands on her feet and walks to her messy desk.

[Ugh, shut up and just do it.]

She chuckled. "Alright. Give me 24 hours." She opened her laptop and immediately, her desktop wallpaper shows, which is her and her parents.

[Let me know right away if you have finished it.]

"Mother is sleeping already?"

[She's downstairs, washing the dishes. Listen, be careful. No mission is easy.]

"Buy me a bucket of fried chicken and French fries after this." She just coyly replied. "Oh, and cookies and cream. Would love to spend nights in my dorm lazily again."

[Yeah, yeah... I'm hanging up now.]

After hearing the end call, she turned her attention to the creen of her laptop. And just like normally do, she hacks all the CCTV cameras in the places that was mentioned by the report. While her hands are busy, she would constantly grabs her can of beer in the side and drink for few gulps then she would comeback to her work again.

It took long hours until she finally caught the 'suspect'. And through the images coming from different cameras, she was able to form his face. She did not waste her time and she put the picture through another software that will identify the profile of the said image. She's like in an Agency like CIA or FBI. But the difference is, she's identifying if she's indeed a vampire or some sort of shadow devils. 

While she waites for the process to complete, she turned to her side, only to groan, as she remembered her assignments she hasn't finished. Tomorrow is another day in school and she needs to finished it, otherwise, she's on detention again.

Knowing it will take some time, she pushed the laptop a little on the left side and grabs her unfinished papers to start finishing it. Looking for her pen, she realizes she has out of it in her dorm. She stood up and grabs her backpack from the couch and returned to her leather chair.

Unfortunately, as she opens her backpack, she was greeted by love letters she got from her admirers in her school.

One by one, she picked it up while reading the different kinds of nickname she has from her admirers.

"To my Deer Yoong."

"To my darling."

"My my Sweetheart Yoongie."

"To my little prince."

"To my baby love."

"To my prince charming."

"To my Knight and shining armor."

"To my cutie pie."

"To my MVP."

Blah... Blah... Blah...

Until she had the last love letter on hand, she pause and couldn't help but wonder where did she last heard it. The love letter says 'to my pumpkin'.

"Ah!" Thus, it only took less than a minute when it hits her, "...Munchkin Seo Joohyun." And that made her smile unconsciously. But she doubts it came from the real Munchkin she knows. It had been years since she last saw her after their break up, so it's not possible she would also be her admirer. To think, that was from high school. She's now a second year in Sone University and that girl is in Harvard.

Tossing it also to the side, joining the other love letters, she finally saw her pen, that was being covered by those cards. She took it and had a brief glance to her laptop's screen before she resumes finishing her assignments.

"Ji Chang Wook." Yoona said over the phone and let out a huge yawn.

[Ji Chang Wook, who?] Replied her father over the next line.

"Vampire - lower class. He's living in the human world for almost 2 years alone. 30 years of age, working as an Accountant and only lives through the animals blood. But what made him started drinking the human's blood? This is definitely alarming."

[That's for you to find out. Finish this in 24 hours hours, just like you told me earlier.]

"I have a class to attend tomorrow, father. Can you do this instead?" Yoona complained.
