29 | Sick Appa and Daddy

 

 

[Im Mansion]

 

 

Seohyun was staring into daze, outside the balcony, while arms are cross under her chest. It has been a while now since her son, Daniel, had fallen asleep. And as she can finally breath in relief, her heart is aching somehow. The reason, when she found out what happened.

 

She was in deep thoughts for a couple of minutes now, didn't notice Yoona had walk in to the room. The doe-eyed girl felt heavy inside when she can only see a shade of gray all over her girlfriend's back. This isn't the scene she wanted to see. Heck, she it made sense. Who would be celebrating after what happened? She guessed, only stupid people.

 

Tiptoeing to the balcony, she keep shut, as she eventually just stood next to the quiet girl.

 

"I don't know how to explain this but... you still look gorgeous if you're concerned Seohyun Omma." She said with a giggle.

 

Seohyun broke her thoughts, turning to the playful doe-eyed on her right with a poker face. "Are you insulting me?" her face are obvious stress now - what's so gorgeous about her?

 

Yoona wrap her one arm around Seohyun's shoulders, only to pull her closer and whisper, "For Yoong Daddy, everyday -- you're the most gorgeous girl I've ever met. I've ever fall in love~"

 

Seohyun blushed at Yoona's words, pushing the thoughts of her son at the back of her mind. That sick on her stomach once again strikes, even after they had been an official couple. She wrap one arm around the girl's slim waist and also whispered, "No. You can't be serious Yoong."

 

"Aigoo, she really doesn't believe me, eh?"

 

The couple looked at each other. Their faces are inches away, that they can feel their breaths. Their warm breaths that are causing them to feel so warm inside as well, despite the cold air brushing through their skin.

 

Yoona suddenly let out a quiet giggle.

 

"What?" Which made Seohyun's brows raised in confusions.

 

Unwrapping her arms, Yoona turned fully to her girlfriend, so she can have her both arms around her waist. Seohyun genuinely smiled back, wrapping her arms around Yoona. She pulled her gently over so their foreheads are now resting to one another. At times like this, they really need each other. 

 

"Thank You." Especially for Seohyun, who is more than stress with everything happening to her life. She missed the times when they were in the baseball park, it was less stress than today. 

 

"For what? I think it should be me."

 

"For taking care of my son. My twins. Most especially Daniel. You know he's such a fragile baby." Seohyun sighed, at the thought of her son again.

 

"Hyun... "

 

"Hmm?"

 

Yoona pout her lips. "I'm also a fragile baby. I need to be take care as well."

 

"Yah!" Seohyun literally slapped the doe-eyed's shoulder, earning her giggles and a peck on the lips. "I hate you." She whined slightly.

 

"Hahaha! I know, because you love me." Yoona winked charmingly.

 

"Ugh, Yoooong!!!"

 

"Hyuuun!!!!" As if both was posses, they whined like Paul and Daniel. But end up hugging again. Just loving they way they're giving warm to one another.

 

Yoona then took this another chance and place Seohyun's palms on her chest, the part where her heart is beating.

 

"What is it this time?"  The other girl pulled back and looked at her, quizzically.

 

"Can you feel the beats of my heart?" ask Yoona huskily.

 

"Y-Yeah... what's new?" Seohyun giggles, finding it so silly.

 

Yoona took a moment of silence before she proceeds, "This is the first the time it was beating like that. And you know the reason?

 

Seohyun bit her lower lip, suppressing that big smile forming in her lips. "Because of me?" As she guessed the answer.

 

"Nope."

 

"What?" Seohyun frowned, embarrassed and a bit surprise. "Why not me?" and it really disappoints her.

 

Giggling, Yoona kissed Seohyun's hands affectionately and answered lovingly, "Because of your heart, baby~ It's not because of you. Hehe... When your heart started to beat for me, my heart also started to beat unusually. Which means, I'm in love of you. We are in love of each other. I love You~"

 

Couldn't take the cheesiness, Seohyun literally grab Yoona's point finger and bite it so hard.

 

"AHHHH!!!! LET GOOOO!!!" which cause the doe-eyed to scream in pain. But that only to hear Daniel groaning inside the room.

 

Alertly, the couple went back to the room and check on the young boy. Daniel was seen opening his eyes slowly. Seohyun immediately climbed to the bed, cuddle with him and her son's back to sleep again. Like an instant, Daniel's eyes closes again. Yet, small arms wrap securely around his mother's waist. As his face is buried in her neck.

 

"Sorry~" Yoona whispered, pouting her lips.

 

Seohyun sent the doe-eyed a quick glare before she signal her to climb to the bed as well. Like an excited kid, Yoona climbs to the bed, oppositely. She didn't missed it and kissed Daniel's cheeks. They're really so soft, that she ever wanted to kiss it again and again.

 

"Daniel's skin are really like a baby. I want to kiss them always." said Yoona with a big smile.

 

"Paul, he's outside. You should see him and take him here." Seohyun whispered carefully to Yoona.

 

"Later." The doe-eyed declined, as she kissed Seohyun's lips and lie down next to Daniel. "Omma, I'm going to sleep as well, me after Danny." she playfully stated.

 

Seohyun let out an audible sigh, as she decided to ignore her girlfriend first, while she make sure her son would be fully asleep.

 

Yoona keep shut and close her eyes as well. "Just wake me up later then." as she whispers.

 

The young aspiring nurse, sighed, yet, she smiled genuinely to the sight of her son and Yoona. Grateful and contented, she thought there's no more sha could ask for excpt Daniel, accepting her father.

 

A good fifteen minutes later, she can already see her son had fully went back to sleep. But before she could even check on Yoona too, she heard her voice.

 

"Where are you going?"

 

She got startle a little. "I-I thought you were sleeping?" which end her up stuttering. 

 

"I did - but just woke up now." grinned Yoona, as she sat up, checking on Daniel lying between them. "Look how deep is his sleep? I wonder how good is his dream as well?"

 

"Don't create any noise again. Or I will kick your ." Joke Seohyun in her low voice, as she carefully sat up, following the doe-eyed.

 

"I'm zipping my mouth Omma, Don't worry." Yoona really covered as she got off the bed, Which Seohyun is also doing.

 

Both seemed to have the same idea and they walked in to the bathroom together. Respectively, reaching their own couple tooth brushes and brush their teeth together. As if it's the first time, they are staring into each other's eyes through the mirror.

 

Seohyun then side bumped Yoona on her hips, the latter also did the same. They keep on doing it until they finished brushing.

 

As if they're really in a honeymoon, Yoona lowered her body slightly and Seohyun climb behind.

 

"Let's go see my other son!" Seohyun raised one hand, as if a super woman.

 

Yoona lowly chuckles before she immediately sprinted outside. But before they could leave entirely, they checked if Daniel was really in hid deep slumber.

 

Confirmed, they look for Paul outside.

Yul let out a sigh, after Narsha put on a ice pack on top of his head. He slightly flinched when the pain in his nose struck him. But he chuckled, lowly - reminding himself that his own son was the reason of it.

 

"You're happy?" ask Narsha, as she take her seat across the tan guy.

 

Yul shut his mouth, gazing back to the older girl. "Who would be happy? My son despise me. And I don't know how will I stop him from doing that to me."

"That was your fault."

 

"I know." Yul let out another quiet sigh, as he take a look of his own reflection, through his phone. "How bad is it?" He took the ice pack on top of his head and pressed it against his left cheek.

 

"I think your son posses like a real boxer. I can't even tell who are you now." Narsha joked, earning the tan guy's little smile.

 

"So I have a brave son."

 

"A tiger son." Narsha corrected.

 

Lightly, Yul shake his head, turning away from his reflection and face Narsha again. "What do you think of Yoona and Seohyun?" He ask softly.

 

"What do you mean?" Narsha's eyebrows creased, blankly. She didn't expect the latter would ask about his sister and her maid.

 

"I know, you know Narsha-ssi."

 

"What? I don't know what you're talking about." Narsha lied. Deep inside, she knew Yoona is dating Seohyun.

 

"You are not telling the truth."

 

Narsha shrugged her shoulders. "They're good - I mean as a couple. They fit for each other?"

 

"You thought so?" Yul sighed heavily. He switch the ice pack on the right side of his cheek this time. "What if... I and Seohyun? What can say about us?"

 

"Huh? Do you like Seohyun as well?" Narsha literally raised her voice.

 

"I am the father of Paul and Daniel, isn't that obvious? I and Seohyun were past lovers." Yul stated as a fact, quiet amuse with Narsha's reaction.

 

"Ahh yeah... I almost forgot. Hehe... " Narsha sheepishly rub the back of her head.

 

"So what? What can you say?" Yul however continued. He really wanted to know if other person except for Yoona would see him and Seohyun as a good item.

 

Narsha contemplated to answer. "I... guess not."

 

"What? Why not?" It's Yul's turn to raise his voice, which caused him to flinched again when his muscle moved. The pain in his chest hasn't faded yet.

 

"I mean, I guess there shouldn't be any question of that. Seohyun had loved you, that means... she felt like you and him are a good together. With that, I have no right to judge you and Seohyun." Narsha explained further. "Hey, do you still love her?"

 

Yul didn't answer, but quietly nodded. 

 

"All this time?"

 

"I know. It's like 5 years... my heart still beats for her. Look how fate is actually playing with us? She fell for Yoona as well. I guess YoonYul's genes are really one of a kind, No? I didn't expect she would fall for my sister. It's like, she can also see me through Yoong?" Yul chuckled, couldn't believe he is talking like that. But he felt great knowing it's just his sister. If it wasn't her, it would probably be a big problem. 

 

Narsha doesn't know if Yul is praising his sister or he's being full of himself?

 

"But anyway, I hope I can find the time and moved on from this. I know it takes time. 5 years had already passed, I still love her? I don't know if my heart would stop from loving her like that easily. I wish with a snap of a finger only. But too bad, my heart was stubborn for that."

 

"By the way, you're engage right? Why don't you just take-"

 

"My engagement ceremony is happening next week - Yoona's birthday. Do you want to come?" Yul invited, yet with a fake smile.

 

"Aigoo, you didn't let me finish my sentence. Tsk,tsk. But if I will come? No thanks. I know that's going to be only you and Suzy's family. I have no interest in Business, Yul." Narsha hopped off her seat and give Yul a pat on his bare shoulder, before she left the kitchen.

 

Yul once again let out a sigh, as he remind himself about his engagement. He hasn't told his father about his plan of ditching it - but why would he told him? It would only stop his plan. Speaking of his father, he put his ice pack down as he fished his phone out and reviewed the last message he got from him.

 

from Appa:

[Your son, my grandchild, right?

I think I'm more than interested with him now.]

 

He gritted his teeth, and gripped on his smartphone - thinking that his father's next target is his son. One of the reasons why he decided to bring Seohyun and their twins to the Im Mansion, rather than to let them stay in an apartment.

 

Can no longer take it, He replied to his message.

 

to Appa:

[Just a slight touch to my son, I'm going to kill you]

 

"Appa?"

 

Yul's tracks stop momentarily. "Paul?" which he hurriedly put his phone back to his pocket.

 

The innocent kid, flashed a sweet smile to his father. "What are you doing?"

 

"Uh, N-Nothing. You. What are you doing here? I thought you are sleeping now?" ask Yul back.

 

Paul pout his lips, realizing the bruises on his father's cheeks. And that red spot in his father's nose, it breaks his heart. "Daniel did that, Appa?" He casually approached him.

 

Yul stand on his feet and picked up his son, placing him on top of the table. "Yeah, but you know the reason, right?" He softly added, facing the latter.

 

"I'm sorry Appa."

 

"Why are you saying sorry?"

 

Paul cupped his father's face gently. "Because you were hurt. Daniel didn't mean it Appa. Don't hate him, Okay?"

 

Yul's heart just melted. He leaned in forward to buried his face to the latter's small stomach. "I don't hate him, Paul. Instead, I hate myself. I am the reason why He is like that to me." He closed his eyes and savor this moment with his son.

 

"Don't worry, Buddy don't hate you too. I think He is just surprise." Paul put his small hands to the tan guy's hair, giving it some massage.

 

"I hope so, Paul. I hope so. Because Appa loves Daniel. I don't hate him. You and Daniel are my life." Yul is shivering, loving the way his son is massaging his hair. It's definitely making him heal - from the pain he is experiencing physically.

 

Paul is smiling from ear to ear, as he continues to comfort his father.

 

Meanwhile, Seohyun who followed her son, stops half way when she caught the sight of Paul, sitting on the table while Yul's face is resting on top of his lap. The sight made her smile, warmly. Paul was comforting his father, how cute to see it. However, she felt bad for Yul. After what her son did to him, she feels like it will take time for them to see like Paul is doing to him. 

 

"I'm sorry, Yul." she muttered, softly.

 

She didn't notice, Yoona had arrive as well. The doe-eyed took this opportunity and wrap her arms around her waist. She slightly jerked, yet quickly relaxed when she realized it's just her girlfriend.

 

"Aigoo, I thought Daniel will really kill his father. Look how those bruises are on my brother's arms as well. If He should have ask me to stop his son, but he give it to Daniel. Until your son voluntarily stopped and runs to me. That was the time I should have decline his request." Yoona softly uttered, res
