21 | Last Night

An hour and a half of drive to Nephilim's private camp, Yoona, Seohyun and Yuri stepped out of the car, as they read the 'No trespassing' before them. But behind those fence with the signage, inside the forests is the camp the Nephilim owned, where only their kind can enter. Seohyun who is an exception was allowed as they finally entered the forest.

Yoona and Seohyun, who are holding hands took a brief smile at one another as they keep walking and passing all the bushes, big stones, flowers, insects, and trees until they reached where the Nephilims are having their training, where they were greeted by flash moves, Nephillims dropping on the ground, powers being thrown around and showing their fighting skills.

4 days before the eclipse, everyone is training non-stop, day and night.

"What took you guys to come?" Taeyeon greeted them with a bright smile. 

"The place is far. Aren't we in the shadow world, Unnie?" ask Yoona in curiosity. 

"I was about to ask." said Seohyun briefly smiling at her girlfriend next to her.

"We're not. We're still in the human's world however, only Nephilim are allowed to see and access this place. And since you got the angelic now, Seohyun, you have no worries." explained Taeyeon simply. "Follow me, I'll take you guys to your tent." she turned and lead them, passing on every tent on the side.

"The river... it's beautiful." said Yoona softly as she smiled and shifted her gaze back to Seohyun she's holding. "You want to swim later?"

"I'm in!" Yuri suddenly exclaimed from behind them, earning a chuckle from Seohyun.

"I'm in too." said the young vampire, getting excited in an instant as her face beams.

"Don't think that's allowed." Suddenly Taeyeon stopped in her tracks, turning her body around to face them. "There are rules that the Nephilim have set, check it later."

"Aren't we here for the whole day only?" ask Seohyun in confused.

"Nope. We're here for two days then we'll return to the city to start the mission." explained Taeyeon. We're going to take breaks only for food that's why I doubt swimming is allowed."

"Wow. But at least it'll be easy." Yuri shared her thoughts.

"Yeah, easy for you guys." Taeyeon chuckled and she resumed her walk to their tent which is near the committee's tent. She parted the door for them and let them in. "You guys will be sharing this tent with other Nephilim. Most of them are from different countries. Just take whatever bed you like to use. Go out in thirty minutes as I will be leading the next training." she informed seriously and casually leaves.

"Taeyeon is sure part of the Nephilim now, eh?" chuckled Yuri lightly.

Yoona and Seohyun choose the middle two beds as they set they start unpacking a few of their stuff. Yuri followed them, taking the bed next to Yoona. They got quiet for a while until someone entered the tent.

"So... you're the vampire everyone is talking about." It's one of the new Nephilim. He looked at Seohyun from head to toe, observing her. "I see why you're special." he smirked at her but the vampire's eyes are glaring at him and he can see it's changing its color.

"Wae?" Yoona doesn't like what's going on. She stood up and block his view from her girlfriend.

Seohyun's eye colors returned to normal as she sighs in relief. She and Yuri just stayed sitting on their beds as they paid attention to the two Nephilim.

"Yoona right? I'm Johny, Nephilim from North Korea." Johny extended his hand as he introduced himself.

"What are others been saying that you have said those words?" However, Yoona is more interested to hear it. She hasn't seen or heard complaining about Seohyun joining the mission and being a vampire.

"She is the reason for all these messes. Without her being near you, the vampires won't be like this."

"What?" Yoona is stunned to hear it.

"And to think her sister is being detained in our headquarters. What's-"

Yoona didn't let him continue his words as she grabs his collar and pulled him close. "If you don't know what's going on. You ing just shut up." She angrily and firmly stated.

"Yoona no." Yuri and Seohyun instantly rushed to the doe-eyed's side and tried to pull her back but she's holding him strongly.

"You're just visiting here, don't feel comfortable right away." said Yoona as he let go of him. However, Johny suddenly throws a hard punch straight to her face, throwing her off of the tent and dropped on the ground just almost reaching the river. Before she can get up, Johny surprised her by grabbing her collar this time, staring at her furiously.

Seohyun and Yuri rushed outside and was about to help Yoona when Johny suddenly throws a hard punch again on her face.

"Yoona!" Seohyun shouted and got block by Yuri before she can rush to her side. "Yah, he's hurting her, Yuri!"

"Don't. Let Yoona take care of him." said Yuri, shaking her head gently wearing a serious face.

Just then, they heard a loud thud and their attention turned to the two, apparently now fighting. Yoona is  Everyone around is slowly catching the attention of the two Nephilim, trying to get into each other's throat. Especially that it's Yoona, fighting furiously in a different way.

"We should stop them." Seohyun is getting worried. Watching the doe-eyed getting hurt every time she missed a blow from Johny hurts her as well.

"This is a good fight, Seohyun, don't stop them." Yuri is different. She hasn't seen her friend looking stronger than the previous one. It's exciting to see for her, especially that Yoona's hitting Johny more than missing him. Yoona's fast movement is indeed better than a normal Nephilim. 

"Aish." hissed Seohyun biting her lower lip. Everyone is now shouting on their bets, which feels like they wanted the fight to happen.

As time goes by, the Nephilim got exhausted and they moved away farther from each other, catching on their breath and letting their selves to heal on their own, as their wounds from what they get from each other are unbearable to take. Their eyes are intense and hands are formed into fists as they couldn't look away.

"Yoona, just end it." One of the Nephilim said after minutes of silence.

"Hell yeah! End it Johny!" and another one shouted, obviously liked to see the guy wins.

A smirk formed in Johny's lips as he slowly takes his knife from his back, one of the weapons he loves to used back in his country. "It will end here." muttered him as he dashes and swings the knife and tried to stab Yoona when the latter got his arms. "You dieeeeee!!!" he roared, pushing it more forward with more strength yet Yoona won't badge as she fights back with his strength, not letting him win, even though it's now so near on her face.

Without a warning, Yoona reflexively kicks on his stomach and he dropped the knife automatically. But before she can move, Johny quickly kicks on her face, throwing her nearby. She was about to get up when he got , straddling above her.

"John... " Yoona tried to kick him and punch his arm but he's not budging and she felt like he has gone stronger. Breathing is now uneven as seconds pass. And her face is turning pale. Got no choice, she held her forearm and uses her other power, as her eyes turn blue and her hands are slowly showing fire.

"What the are you?" Johny cursed so loud as he can feel himself burning. "AHHHH!!!"

Seohyun can no longer take what's happening and she rushed to give Johny and hard kick, throwing him off of her girlfriend. She hastily checks on her as the latter cough so hard, massaging her neck. "You, your neck... it must be hurting."

"That... idiot. I don't think... he's a... Nephilim. The only downworlder.... burns if I use my powers on them." said Yoona while she's catching her breath and slowly sitting up, eyes on Johny slowly getting on his feet nearby. Everyone's attention is now on him.

"Who are you?" ask Taeyeon as she steps in. 

"I'm a Nephilim... but a slight wizard." Johny chuckled softly as he reveals the true color of her hair, which is silver. "That was a good fight, Yoona-ssi. You really get stronger if you reveal your power too." he took a couple of steps forward, smirking at the doe-eyed. "Those hands are special huh? Stronger than I have imagined. Wizards can be strong too but not like that. Our spells don't even last. But I assure you I am here to fight against those downworlder over the mundane's world." he ended it with a bow, stunning everyone.

"Happy to hear that." said Yoona as she smiled briefly, holding Seohyun's hand who squeezes it. 

Behind, Mr. and Mrs.Seo are impressed by how it ended.

Yuri finds herself on the ground, catching her breath and enduring the pain all over her body after she received a kick and a punch. She struggles to get up but the moment she stood straight in front of another female Nephilim, she saw a kick coming which made her dodge it and hastily she countered with a kick as well but the smaller Nehilim lowered herself and she meets the air then she received an uppercut. She stumbles and before the latter can advance, she stopped her by putting her hand forward and freezes her. Her eyes are tightly close when she did it. Opening her eyes when she didn't feel anything, she's stunned to see her opponent freezes indeed. However only for a minute as the latter move forward hastily. She instinctively runs away.

Yoona who just got out of the tent steps backward when Yuri passes on her and a female Nephilim is chasing her. A soft chuckle escaped her lips while watching her friend. She however frowned to noticed Seohyun had been fighting with five Nephilim at the same time and she doesn't even flinch every time she was hit behind or she missed an attack. As if she doesn't feel anything at all.

"I told her to don't show her new identity but she doesn't know how to hide it as it seems to be now in her blood. Your father however warned her to control her strength which she can now after I put a spell on her that will only last until the sunsets. Yoona, she's really dangerous if she can't handle it. Look she can't feel any pain anymore." Taeyeon sighs and shakes her head. "If only I still have time to research, but it's nearing. We'll just have to trust she won't be a monster later."

"That won't happen, I promise." Said Yoona confidently. She's afraid inside but there's no point in it if she shows it. "The Vampires, they already learned about us preparing by the way. But don't worry, not all of them will join their clan. We have managed to convince a hundred vampires to join us rather in order to stop them. I want to talk with other  downworlder but that means going to the shadow world and you forbid me to go there not until the war."

"What your father has shared is true indeed." Taeyeon isn't surprised at all.

"How did my father knows?" Ask Yoona as she got surprised to learn rather.

"A friend vampire called him and he shared it to the org." Taeyeon simply replied.

"I wanted to talk about that with Appa but it seems it's not necessary anymore."

"By the way, how does it feels earlier that a Nephilim has almost the same strength as you?"

"It was great actually but..." Yoona pause when she and Taeyeon heard a sc
