14 | Something

 

 

It's the last day of his stay in Jeju Island. Yul expected to see this Daniel Kim he recently bond with. But to his dismay, it seems that the kid and his Dad had left the Island without visiting him. He was a bit sad, yet, happy at the same time - that he's finally coming back. He can finally take a break from the managing some business his father give to him. Much more like it, he is coming back to Seoul, alone. Meaning, without Suzy and his parents on the side. His family and the girl herself decided not to go back yet, hence, there are still things to finish. While him, he finished his collaboration with them. It was pure business, including the engagement honestly.

 

And speaking of engagement, he was now doubtful. He was now thinking of cancelling his engagement with Suzy, after he had spent his day and night with this Daniel Kim. Like he was posses with some spirit, Daniel Kim's appearance really change his mind. He can see himself to him, who wouldn't change his prior decisions? All thanks to the kid - he would surely missed him.

 

Hopefully, once he arrived in Seoul, his mind won't change. Thinking about his father and all of his rules, he must take extra precautions in regards to his plans.

 

Once the plane had take off and devices are allowed to access the wifi, He opened his laptop and entered a site. He specifically searched on his sister's name on the search engine. There wasn't even a couple of seconds, he can see a lot of related articles about Yoona. Mostly were her, spotted on a mall with a kid. Opening one particular article and read it for a while before he went through the capture photos. Some are blur but others are really good. And to his dismay, the kid was so cute to his eyes. A seemingly genuine smile formed in her lips, as she browse all the photos of the kid. He had this biting of lips, while he enjoyed every photos. "Aigoo, he's cute. No wonder Yoona is recently happy." He stopped suddenly to one picture, he doesn't know why but his heart suddenly beat unusually, as if... the kid resembles someone? Especially the way he is smiling, and those cheeks and lips. His pointy nose - eyebrows and eyes - he felt so strange, staring into his features. 

 

"Why am I suddenly thinking he's my son?" Yul chuckled, scolding himself mentally. He decided to save the images in the end. And when he saw Yoona's pictures, he had this big smile again, seeing how happy is Yoona filming with the kid. He has been so bright, he knows. But with a kid? It was surely surprising. Yoona must have eaten something that made her like kids now. But he was sure he's going to investigate this. 

 

Saving also his sister's photos, he closes the article and browse some more. He ended up opening a new article, which talks about his sister's recent audition for a lead role. "Nice. She's getting popular." He was now convinced, Yoona is putting an effort for her career.

 

Suddenly a flight attendant approached him asking if he wants some drinks.

 

"Tea please." He just simply uttered, and the flight attendant left with his order.

 

Right then, he opened an article with a video of the kid. Still, he was smiling, looking into his cute and adorable actions around the mall. He was running and shouting all around in the video, he wouldn't smile? Plus, Yoona is freaking cute playing with him. He suddenly thought of Daniel Kim that he met, he was convinced both are different in terms of personality. Daniel Kim is so shy while this unknown kid is so naughty and really messy. But despite the kid's personality, he find him adorable.

 

"I can't wait to see this kid." Which made him look forward to see the adorable kid - the reason for Yoona's happiness recently.

[Im Mansion]

 

 

"Oh Gosh. Oh! Goooosh!!! WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UUUUP???!!!" 

 

Minho literally close his eyes tight as soon as Yoona woke up and was frantically running around the room - as if she had forgotten something? But damn, he couldn't ask her anymore when Yoona pushed him outside and slam the door close to his face. He rolled back his eyes and check on his wrist watch. "10:30am. We have Four hours of free time before fetching Daniel. What's her plan?" 

 

Yoona, inside the shower room only took 10 minutes of cleaning herself and quickly stepped out. She hurriedly runs to her closet and randomly picked her outfits.

 

Another 5 minutes that passed, she walked out and proceeds to the vanity. She fixed her hair into a bun and put some light make-up, since it's a little sunny today. She also picked up her sunglasses and check on her suit and pants for the last time. Satisfied, she took her backpack and left the room. Just then, she was greeted by Minho, blocking her way.

 

"What are you doing?" Ask Yoona, as she keeps on moving from left, to right. But Minho would also go to where she wants to go.

 

"Should I ask you that as well?"

 

"I'm going out."

 

"Where?"

 

"It's non of your business!"

 

"But you have another filming schedule with Daniel later!" Minho got concerned.

"I know. But that's four hours later. I have an appointment, So back OFF!" Yoona firmly stated with a voice rising on the last part.  Minho who stopped from blocking her, froze on his place. He was taken aback, surely. "I'll let you know later, hmm?" She pat his shoulders and quickly left the latter.

It wasn't that long enough and she's in the road, driving carefully. But not totally in a comfortable ride. Her mind is pretty much occupied about Seohyun, going on a date with Kim Taeyeon. Yes, the moment she woke up earlier, her mind just went directly to the young mother of Daniel Hyunoo Seo. That mother who basically left her night so meaningful.

 

Flashback....

"So in other words, if you tolerate what he likes, he would be so hyper. He would do more of it, since you liked it. He will think that it's only okay because you actually liked it as well."

"That's just simple. But really, I liked it as well." Yoona grinned, before taking a sip of her tea. They're in the balcony of her room, sitting next to each other, while talking about random things. Daniel is not an exemption, as always.

"I know. So don't think really too much out there. Don't put a lot of pressure." Seohyun said softly, glancing over Yoona's side profile. The deer looked into her way as well and shared the same smile. "If you keep doing the things really correctly, it's easy to get his attention. It's easy to get his heart." She added, sincerely. Eyes couldn't take off to the pair of doe-eyes before her.

"You're really the mother. You know everything about him."

"For four years? I would be so shame for myself if I am not like this to him."

"Tell me. When you... when you give birth to him. How was the pain?" Yoona couldn't held back and wanna know. She grow up without her mother in her side, she was so clueless about it.

Seohyun sighed and turned to the city before them. "Not easy. I mean, I have to endure the pain for almost 3 hours just to push him all the way out. It was really painful. But when I heard him crying as I woke up... I don't know... as if everything was so fine - the happiness was real. I can't describe how happy I was that time. And I find myself tearing up because I've seen him there, telling me that... Great job Omma, Daniel is so proud. And I thought to myself, It was a great decision for keeping him inside my stomach until his due." She sighed and took a sip of her tea a little.

Yoona fell into a complete silence - watching Seohyun's side profile again. It's really getting more obvious to her, that she's feeling so weird just by being with her. And her admiration doubles upon listening to her - her struggle for her life, most especially.

"And you know what? I really didn't regret for having Daniel with me. Though he's naughty... that soft side of him always wins. Always making me feel like... I was a great mother to him. I wish for him to grow up - kind, loving, caring and honest."

"Um... don't get me wrong... but... Where's his father? I don't really care about this, But you got me curious out of a sudden."

Seohyun looked into Yoona and put a small smile. "It's a sensitive topic but... I tell you... He's not a good guy. He's the guy I realized life is basically okay without him. Daniel and I are always Okay without him. I don't know where is He right now, and not even planning to see him back." Her words sounded so bitter. But she keep her calm, doesn't want to get the atmosphere heavy. The question about Daniel's father just made her mood a little swing. Good thing and she knows how to keep herself calm.

 

"Sorry to hear that."

 

"It's Okay."

 

Yoona felt bad for bringing the topic of Daniel's father. So she scooted closer and was about to take her jacket off when Seohyun looked at her confusedly. She grinned and ask, "Um it's getting cold out here. Do you need some warm from my jacket or... my warmest hug?" She ask, sweetly.

 

Seohyun flushed and looked away. She couldn't answer, out of a sudden. The topic of Daniel's father and the sudden change of the topic just too random. But she liked it somehow. 

 

"Okay. I take your silence as an answer for a hug." Yoona opened her arms, almost want to hug Seohyun already when she heard her answer.

 

"Um, Jacket. I think I'll take the jacket."

 

She stopped for a while. But then again, she didn't stop her plan. She pulled her chair a little closer and wrapped her arms around Seohyun's shoulders. She even pulled her much closer so she can give her more warmth. Seohyun who smiled secretly, reluctantly but comfortably rested her head to Yoona's shoulders. Yoona rubs on her back, comforting her instantly. She closed her eyes and wanted to have some nap, yet opens it again - reminded by Narsha's reminder. She just keep her eyes open, while she remains immobile in Yoona's embrace.

 

"Don't think about him anymore, Okay? Just think of Daniel and me, instead." Yoona said, causing for her to smile with her own words. Couldn't believe she's saying it to her. Heck, she liked it. She feels so right somehow.

 

"I'm thinking about how many times will you my back." Seohyun joked, earning a quiet giggle from the doe-eyed. "But... yes... I would do that. I've been doing that ever since then." She added, and she felt a gentle kiss over the side of her head. Again, she was fluttered. Those famous butterflies all over her stomach again. She felt so sick, yet, a great feeling.

 

Yoona, she finally stopped , as she pulled back and cupped Seohyun's face. Their eyes are drown towards each other again. Seohyun is biting her lower lip, as she closes her eyes when Yoona is starting to caressed her cheeks. She liked it when she her this delicately.

 

"Hyun, I don't know what I am feeling right now - admiration, or something else? I really couldn't figure this out." Yoona softly whispered, as she keep her thumbs, her soft skin.

 

"Me too. I don't know this. It's like, I'm always so comfortable around you. And I feel like I don't want to end this too soon. But I know there was something in this. Let's not rush things... let's figure this out first... Okay?" Seohyun said. Honestly, she hated herself. Because apparently, she exactly knows her closeness to Yoona is getting into something she's afraid of.

 

"Hyun... I like you."

 

"..." Seohyun couldn't say back.

 

Yoona has a wide smile forming in her lips. She stopped from her and leaned forward to kissed her lips. Seohyun sighed, against their lips. Yet, only took a few seconds, as Yoona pulled back. She opened her eyes, Yoona kissed her lips again. But this time, she made sure to deepen it. To part her lips and kissed her passionately. She was reluctant for a moment but she gladly parted her lips and kissed the deer back - in the same rythm. Both moan at the tension between their lips.

 

"Yah! Yoong!"

 

But all the kisses just faded right away when she felt a soft touch on her cheeks. Flustered, Yoona keeps blinks for a couple of time, couldn't answer back. She just daydreamed?

 

"Are you Okay?" Seohyun confusedly ask. She find it so adorable, watching the doe-eyed's eyes blinking, but cheeks are so red. Did she think of something? She wondered.

 

"Uh... I... I... " Yoona couldn't finish her words, as she end up sighing. Yet, cheeks are heating up. She purse her lips sadly and looked away from the other girl. She was really embarrass, for herself at least. Thinking of them kissing seemed surreal. However, there was a part of disappointment. 

 

"Are you sleepy now?" snickered Seohyun.

 

"Ne? Y-Yeah, I guess." Yoona helplessly dropped her shoulders. She got up and Seohyun did so. As they went back to the room. "Wait, can you - Um... stay for a while?" Yoona quickly stole the young brunette girl's hand, before she could think of leaving. 

 

"Stay? What do you mean stay?" 

 

Yoona smiled. She dragged her gently to the bed and they both sat down at the edge of it. "You leave only, once I was already sleeping. Is that okay with you?"

 

"Are you taking advantage of my job?" Seohyun softly chuckled jokingly.

 

"Quiet. But... I don't think you would decline. So just stay there. Hehe... " Lying back, Yoona patted the empty space next to her. 

 

"Fine." Indeed, she can't decline, Seohyun lied next to Yoona. She was staring in daze to the ceiling, quiet uncomfortable for a couple of seconds. However, she instinctively turned to Yoona, who also turned in time to her. 

 

"We have the same mind." giggles Yoona. She closes her eyes so she can finally have her sleep. And as soon as her eyes were close, her imaginations of her and Seohyun kissing appeared. She bit her lower lip, suppressing that big smile seemingly forming in her lips. Seohyun who was staring at her quietly giggle. Yoona is so cute, to be honest. Especially when she looked like she's feeling giddy inside. And those cute dimples, they're just too irresistible not to stare. She reached for her hair and stuck it behind, but only to be held by the girl through her wrist. 

 

"You know, you remind me of Omma sometimes... " whispered Yoona, as she intertwined their hands and give it a soft squeeze. Seohyun sighed simply. "Please stay... until I have fallen asleep."

 

"Of course, Yoong." Seohyun also whispered, holding the doe-eyed girl back.

 

Yoona shut , as she finally can able to feel the drowsiness is getting into her. She was so relax - peaceful and contented. She has never felt this way towards someone. Except for her mother, of course. But she knows, she's not seeing her as her mother. That would be so awkward if she does. Heck, in different way. She just couldn't tell it yet. In time, she'll get to realize this. Just like Seohyun told her, they won't rush things. It's just getting better and better, there's no doubt she won't rush it. 

 

Seohyun couldn't hold back and also smiled - staring into Yoona sleeping for the first time - for her first night.

 

End of Flashback...

 

 

Pulling over the car just in front of Sunny's cafe, Yoona quickly take her sunglasses off and slightly rolled over the car window so she can have a peek outside. Her mission didn't failed. Seohyun was apparently inside the cafe, talking to this little midget. Obviously the Taeyeon she was mentioning. "Hehe, So I'm taller." she snickered to herself. Glad that the girl is smaller than her. 

 

Fishing out her phone, she was about to scroll down her contacts when she cursed to see her brother's caller id appeared on the screen - calling her. She hesitantly cancel the call and quickly scroll down her contacts. When once again Yul's caller id appeared, she instantly cancel it and was fast enough to stopped into Seohyun's number. But before she could press the call button, Yul's caller id once again appeared. She groaned frustratingly, answering it in the end.

 

"Yah! Why are you calling?" She couldn't help it and shared her frustrations.

 

[What? Now I don't have the right to call for my sister? Ugh, I guess I need to stop doing this... No?]

 

Mentally smacking her head, Yoona sighed and answered back. "Okay, I'm sorry. It's just that... I'm quiet busy. Aigoo... " She fanned herself through her hand, trying to release the tension building inside her.

 

[Tsk,tsk... so it's a wrong timing?]

 

"Yes. Oh, I mean - quiet. Hehe... " Yoona pursed her lips and puffed.

 

[Well, this is only quick. I'm back in Seoul. We should meet today.]

 

"Omo! Omo! Chincha? Just when?"

 

[Babo! Just today! I'm on my way to my condo. But planning to visit you at night. Are you available?]

 

"Tonight?"

 

[Ugh! Yoong! Stop It!!!]

 

Snickering, Yoona answered back. "Tonight is a perfect time. I have my filming schedule during the day. SO it's okay."
