Yoona almost dropped her pen when she suddenly dozed off. She blinks a couple of times before she realized her date is already sleeping across her. She let out a huge yawn and stretched her arms above her head before she tried to wake Bora up. "Hey, Bora-ssi. It's almost midnight. Wake up." she shake her through her shoulder. "Bora-ssi?" and tried more shake until the latter started moving.

 

"Omo, did I fall asleep?" Bora shot up with a stunned face upon realizing she slept during their date/tutorial.

 

"Yes. You did." Yoona chuckled softly. She helped her gather her stuffs and smile. "You should get going now before your parents gets worry about you."

 

"Thanks, Yoona." Bora got up and bowed a little. "See you the soonest." she told her before she hastily left the cafe without waiting for Yoona's response.

 

Not minding it, Yoona also gathered her stuffs on the table and put them into her backpack. But before she could leave, she checks the table where she has last seen the young vampire and she was glad she's no longer there. She proceeds to leave the cafe and got startle when she saw who's standing next to her scooter. "You haven't left?"

 

"I'm waiting." Seohyun smiled, happy to hear the doe-eyed talked to her. She had been standing outside next to her scooter since she noticed the two aren't talking with each other anymore as they started dozing off.

 

Yoona brushed it off and approached her scooter but the younger girl stood before her. "C-can... you move aside?" she asks her as she stammers, couldn't look at the vampire on her eyes.

 

"You heard me earlier, right?" Seohyun raises her eyebrows.

 

"What should I hear?" Yoona denied. She decided to take on the other side so she could mount on her scooter.

 

"You don't hear my thoughts anymore?" Seohyun curiously ask. She holds the handle of the scooter and leaned into the doe-eyed's face which made her leaned out. 'You don't or just pretending?'

 

Yoona blinked a couple of times and turned her head on the right side. "It's been a while since I started not... he-hearing thoughts." her cheeks are slowly blushing as it's suddenly hard to breath with how close Seohyun's face is.

 

"Liar." Seohyun mutters and the deer looked at her like an instant. Her lips curved into a sweet smile as she admires Yoona's features. They don't look innocent anymore but she still looks so young. But she sure doesn't look happy to see her back. "Fine." she leaned out as she gives up. "But hey, I'll see you tomorrow again."

 

"Wait." Yoona stopped the younger girl from leaving. "Do you have a ride?"

 

Seohyun thought for a second and nodded. "I have my car."

 

"Good for you." Yoona smiled briefly as she put on her helmet. "Good night." she loudly told her before turning on the engine and drives off carefully without looking at her.

 

It took at least a minute before Seohyun realized the deer offers her a ride. "Aish, I should have lied. Why am I too slow?" She smacks her own forehead and gradually stepped into the car. "It was my chance and I just slipped it away. Babo. Babo." she keeps scolding herself but immediately drives off and once again follow the scooter. But before she can even continue following her, her phone rings. "Appa." Which she answered immediately through her earpiece.

 

[Where are you? It's almost midnight.]

 

"I know. Uh, I just drive around, so I will get used to the new road. I mean, earlier, I had a lot of times losing my destination."

 

[Aigoo, should have drive you.]

 

"It's okay. I'm learning. No need to worry. I'll see you later." She said and ended the call right away just on time the scooter turned to the left intersection. She hastily followed her close. It took a couple of minutes only and Yoona entered an apartment building. She just pulled her car across it and never mind leaving as she only take note the new address the young nephilim is apparently residing.

 

Meanwhile, Yoona arrived on her apartment and was greeted by a noise coming from Yuri and TV. She was screaming and cheering for her favorite football team. She just passed by the living room but stop halfway when Roxy came up to her. She smiled and give him some rub on his back and head. "Did Yuri already feed you?"

 

"Already did!" Yuri shouted from the sofa.

 

"Yah, you don't need to shout." Yoona chuckled as she scolded the older girl. She smiled back to wolf again and was about to head to her room when she suddenly thought of Seohyun and Roxy, she looked back at him and the latter sits down. "Nothing. Good night Roxy." She decided not to share about his friend and headed straight to her room. She just lazily throws her backpack on the sofa nearby and jumped to her bed with a long sigh. Truth is, her mind had been occupied of Seohyun since that close proximate of their faces. The effect of her was still strong and she can't deny how she really miss her. But her mind changed when she felt the pain on her right leg which lead her to the day who caused it.

 

Flashback...

 

Being a basketball player and one lf the best, Yoona couldn't rest at least a day to practice. That day it was ordinary day only for her, where she finds herself alone in their basketball gym.

 

But someone suddenly barge in and stopped her.

 

"How are you doing, Yoona-ssi?"

 

She doesn't recognize the voice but she turned and was surprised to see Tiffany, her girlfriend's sister. 'I thought she doesn't like to go visible? What is she doing here?'

 

"Oh yeah, haven't introduced myself. I'm Tiffany, sister of Seo Joohyun. Has my sister shared about me?" Tiffany introduced herself, smiling friendly. She crossed her arms and walk casually until she stopped at the logo of the basketball court. "It's finally good to see you although I have seen you for a while now. But it's nice to finally introduced myself."

 

"What... Can I help for you?" Yoona felt strange and started to feel nervous.

 

"You can help me big time." Tiffany smiled so big and just a mere second, she's already in front of Yoona, surprising the hell out of her. "The prophecy." She whispered.

 

Yoona stepped back a couple times as she got frightened. "You. Are you... Are you one of the werewolves?"

 

"Ah, so I don't need to explain it to you." Tiffany smiled playfully. "Come with me." She announced.

 

Yoona gasped. She automatically tried to throw her away with her eyes but she won't even move.

 

"That technique doesn't affect me, Yoona-ssi. You're too weak." Tiffany said as she uses her hand, she threw Yoona away and dropped to the bleachers, grunting in pain. She appeared in front of her again and was about to grabs her on her collar when the doe-yed grabs her shoulder and she push her off, causing her to be thrown back to the court.

 

Yoona was about to escape but the door was locked immediately by Tiffany. She was also thrown back to the center of the court, lying down there with Tiffany looking down at her. She is catching on her breath while glaring towards her.

 

"You can't have me." She told her as she tried to kick her off but Tiffany was fast from avoiding it. She got up and successfully hit her on her stomach with a strong kick, throwing her off against the wall. But as she advances, another force hits her and she was thrown back.

 

Getting up in difficulties, she widened her eyes when the basketball stand is falling. She tried to avoid it but she her one leg was caught and break her. "AAAAHHHHHHH!!" She screams on top of her lungs out of pain.

 

Tiffany was about to approach her when the door flown open and Taeyeon appeared. She hastily left before the witch could get her.

 

"Yoona. W-wait! Don't move!" Taeyeon automatically uses her power to get the basketball stand out of doe-eyed girl's leg. But as soon as it was lifted out, she was in horror to see the broken leg.

 

"I can't feel my leg. Taeyeon Unnie, help me." Yoona sniffles as she begs for the witch to fix her leg. It hurt so bad earlier but as as soon as it lifted up, she barely can feel her leg and she couldn't also move. She's afraid she completely breaks her leg.

 

"I-I know. Don't move. Let me concentrate." Taeyeon said as she closed her eyes and put both of her hands on the broken leg. She started chanting the spell, a spell that can help heal the deer's leg.

 

Yoona closes her eyes as she endured the pain. She can slowly feel warm around her leg which is comforting her. But before she knows it, she loses her consciousness.

 

End of Flashback...

 

Sitting up on the bed, she sighs as she put her hand on her lap where it usually hurts. It's the reason why she doesn't want to play basketball anymore. It always reminds her of the traumatic experience and it's hard to forget it.

 

"Yoona!" Yuri's voice can be heard outside her room. "Can I talk to you?"

 

"Come in." Yoona said casually as she got up and take off her jacket.

 

Yuri approached her in silence. "Can I ask for advice?" She softly asks her.

 

"What for?" The doe-eyed faced her back after putting her jacket to the laundry basket and she take her seat on her leather chair before her desk.

 

"I actually talked to Jessica earlier already."

 

Yoona looked up to her. "Really? What happened?" She teasingly smiled.

 

"I introduce myself and ask her if we can be friends. However, she just told me I'm familiar and then she walked away. Did I say something wrong?" Yuri raises her eyebrows. She didn't expect the cold treatment from the apple of her eyes that she got curious what happened.

 

"She probably has sensed you already."

 

"Sensed?"

 

"You know, you've been watching her right? She probably has noticed you and guess what? She doesn't seem interested with you."

 

Yuri pouted. "Really?"

 

"But I advice to keep watching her. When you have the chance, prove to her you're a good person."

 

"I don't understand."

 

"You will see later. Just keep stalking." Yoona giggles and brushed her off a she opened her laptop.

 

"What a good advice." Yuri rolled her eyes and casually leaves the room.

 

Yoona smiled briefly then opened their school's server. She had hacked it since she started studying there and can easily access any information about a student. This time, she typed Seohyun's name and her profile appeared. But much to her surprise, there wasn't any address. "Hmm, this is interesting." Knowing the shadow hunter had been trying to contact with the Seo, it's not surprising Seohyun didn't even bother to put her address.

Mrs. Seo walk down stairs, expecting to see no one because it's still so early until she reached the kitchen, she almost didn't recognize who is wearing a black apron while busy chopping some onions. "What the heck are you doing?"

 

Seohyun shifted her eyes to the source of the voice and smile under the face mask she's wearing. "Good morning, Omma."

 

"Yah! You're not going to commit suicide, are you?" Mrs Seo is in disbelief, her daughter seems cooking which humans eat.

 

"Of course not. Why would I?" Seohyun chuckled in amusement to see her mother's reaction. "This is honestly for a friend." And she confessed without any hesitation.

 

"Friend? You made friends already in school?"

 

She nodded as her eyes formed into a crescent moon. "I read in the internet that cooking for someone is good."

 

"Yah! You don't like this friend, do you?" Mrs. Seo suspiciously looked at her daughter and the latter chuckled as she shakes her head. "Better be. You know it's forbidden for us to be with a human. Not to mention, nephilims."

 

Seohyun couldn't help and cough. Thankfully she has a face mask on and her mother did not scold her.

 

"Hurry up there. The sun is rising. You might miss your first class." Mrs. Seo said as she casually left the kitchen.

 

"Yes." Said Seohyun before putting the onions to the hot pan, joining the other ingredients in the process. Her eyes are twinkling while she thinks of Yoona and her reaction later when she gives her the lunch box. Hopefully it will be a success.

It wasn't early nor she's late as the doe-yed girl arrived in the school. She's walking in not so crowded hallway while she's heading to her locker. Everyone is busy on their own while she's just calm and chill, listening to a song through her wireless earphones. It wasn't long enough and she stopped in front of her locker just to be startled when Jennie suddenly jumped behind her, holding her shoulders.

 

"Good morning, Im Yoona." Greeted Jennie as she looked at her face. "How's your morning so far?" She grinned.

 

"Ugh, not a good morning." Yoona rolled her eyes. "What do you want?" And quickly she asked her with a nonchalant stare.

 

Jennie giggles. "Just a little. Will that be okay for you?"

 

"If that's-"

 

"Seulgi told me it's you that can only help me. So please? Pretty please?"

 

Yoona sighs in defeat. "What is it?"

 

"I'll tell you later at lunch break. Let's meet at the cafeteria." Jennie wink and poke the deer's cheek before she left, skipping like a rabbit.

 

Yoona pouted her lips but quickly dropped it when she saw who was standing not too far, looking at her with glares. She gulped nervously and quickly closed her locker before she hastily proceeds to her first class. She immediately takes her seat, opened her notes and started scribbling to avoid having eye contact with Seohyun, who is now entering the classroom making her heart beats faster.

 

The moment Seohyun took her seat behind her, she dropped her pen which she automatically bends down to picked it up but the younger one behind her was faster to pick it for her. She turned to her and opened her right palm. "Give me that." Asking her immediately.

 

"No." Seohyun stuck her tongue out.

 

"We're not in high school anymore, Seo Joohyun." Yoona scolded unconsciously.

 

"I will not give this if you don't talk to me calmly." Seohyun smirked.

 

"I'm calm earlier but-"

 

"I could hear your heart beats right now. It sounds not good. You hate me, don't you?" She cut her sentence midway causing for Yoona to panic.

 

"I-I'm not. I don't hate you. My-my heart. It's only like this because I'm excited."

 

"That sounds not excited for me. I know if someone-"

 

"Fine. Aish!" Yoona couldn't be caught on the spot that she decided to give up. "I'll talk to you later when I'm calm."

 

Seohyun smiled
