"Aish, why does she sleeps easily?"

 

Seohyun feels like she's a fool, discussing the final equation to her roommate, but just to see her now sleeping next to her, with her head on top of her arms, as she's leaning to her desk. Her lips somehow curved into a small smile, as she watches her sleep. Unconsciously, she mirrors her, not leaving her sight. 'Nephilims seems to have human's aura, aren't they?' For unknown reason, she loves watching her sleep. Especially that the shape of her eyes are like from a deer. Then her cute she finds her lips cute.

 

She raise her hand and was about to touch her hair when she stopped it midway because she was reminded by what happened last nigth. She sighs and retracts her hand back.

 

'Now I know why she doesn't like math, she just sleep on it during class, isn't she? Tsk,tsk.'

 

Getting up, she headed to her bed and grabs her extra blanket, putting it on the nephilim's shoulders, making sure she wouldn't touch her skin accidentally. She fixed her desk first then returned to her bed, only to grab her headset and listen to her music again, while are her eyes are close, back is against thr wall and arms and legs are crossed.

 

"Good night nephilim." she never missed and whispers it to herself, although she isn't sleeping at all.

*Thud*

 

Grunting in pain after falling from a chair, Yoona tried to get up while holding her waist, but it caused for another sharp pain in her back. "Ah!" That eventually gives her a reason to let out a short cry. It was due to the fall that she can feel it.

 

"Ugh, did I sleep on the chair?" She finally realized, as her eyes spotted the chair. And for the second time, it's not in her room. "Oh yeah, I ask her to tutor me." Trying to get up again, she is careful this time.

 

As she finally gets on her feet, she deeply sighed and noticed her notebook and book on the young vampire's desk. Her eyes traveled from it to a digital clock nearby, "Sh*t! I'm late!" She widened them and she hurriedly gathers her stuffs and rushed outside, heading to her room and just entered her bathroom after throwing her stuffs to her bed.

 

Just approximately 10 minutes of shower, she's climbing downstairs in a fast manner. But as she passed the living room, she stopped halfway when she realizes Seohyun is sitting in the couch, watching some TV shows. She turned and frowned. "Aren't you going to school yet? We're already late!"

 

"I don't go to school without you... Whether I'm late or not." Seohyun said and casually put her eyes back to the TV screen.

 

Yoona mentally reminded herself that her new roommate is apparently the president's daughter. And it is her job to look after her always. "Y-Yeah... right. As I was saying." she put on a brief small smile before she resumes to the kitchen. She only took two apples and blends another vegetable for the younger. She groaned when she saw the clock that tells her that she's already 30 minutes late. She can already assumes what's going to happen to her later if it she still attends her first class. There's no chance can even make it. But for the second, she has all the time.

 

After pouring the smoothie to a thermos, Yoona put it in her back together with her two apples and hastily leaves the kitchen.

 

She turned off the TV by herself and ushered the young vampire to go out with her already.

 

While they walk to the lift side by side, in silence, they heard a familiar voice calling from behind. They both stopped and turned. Daniel came running into them happily.

 

"Daniel-ah." Seohyun gladly lowered herself, as the latter eventually wraps his arms around her neck.

 

"Noona, Good morning." Daniel brightly greeted the older one. He kissed her cheek and pulled back gently away from her. "Noona is so pretty today." He praised as his eyes formed into a crescent moon.

 

"You. We are still going to school. It's not time to chitchat yet. Especially with a kid." Yoona chuckled, earning a brief glare from Daniel. "You're not going to school yet, kiddo? It's almost noon."

 

"I don't have a class today." Daniel informed.

 

Seohyun gives Daniel another hug before she stands up. "It's not yet time for chitchat indeed, Daniel. But we'll see you around again, Araso? And let’s play again."

 

"Chincha? I'd love to, Noona! If it's always about you!"

 

"What about me, kiddo?" Yoona can't believe what she heard and mock her friend. "I'm your friend for years already!"

 

"I don't like you, Yoona Noona!"

 

Yoona grabs Seohyun's hand "Fine! We're over Daniel" and drags her with her. But she decided to run, which made the young vampire to run as well with her.

 

"Yah! Seohyun Noona and I haven't talk for goodbyes yet!" Daniel chases them.

 

"You're just wasting our time!" Yoona shouted back as she briefly glanced behind them.

 

Daniel scoffs. "Seriously, Noona?" But he decided to stop chasing them. "I hate you, Yoona Noona! I hate YOUUUU!!!"

 

"Just go away!" Yoona shouted for the last time before they got inside the lift.

 

*Ding*

 

Yoona waves to Daniel while smiling devilishly to the little boy who was panting foe air. "Just go back and drink a lot of milk!" She yelled before the door of the lift have close.

 

'These two are so silly.' Seohyun quietly giggles.

 

"I sometimes see that kid as an adult." Yoona chuckled and gives Seohyun a glance. "Do you know why he wants to talk to you more?"

 

"Yes? For what?"

 

"Because as time passes, he will ask for money to buy ice cream just outside this building. He does that to everyone here."

 

"He's just a kid though." Seohyun smiled.

 

"I know right? But that's actually annoying for everyone here."

 

"Hmm, I find it adorable."

 

"Lucky for him, then."

 

"I think you just don't understand the kid."

 

"Oh, I totally understand him. He just wants to pick money from each one of us."

 

"A kid is a kid."

 

Yoona chuckled, as she finds Seohyun's words correct. "You're right. But..." However, she has her own understanding too. "A kid with manners and behaving politely is more fun to have."

 

"Are you saying Daniel, isn't?" Seohyun raised her brows as she finds it a little off.

 

Yoona was about to answer Seohyun when her phone beeps and that made her tongue retracted. She took her device and mentally face-palmed. "I'm so screwed for tomorrow's first class." And mumbles to her own.

 

"Wae?"

 

"My friend told me that we will have a quiz about the lesson they had for today. Aish! I need to copy notes from Seulgi again." Yoona groaned helplessly.

 

Seohyun made a couple of blinks. "Oh, Sorry to hear that."

 

*Ding*

 

"Yeah, but let's hurry now. Before I could skip the second class." Without warning, Yoona once again drags the young vampire with her, as they headed to her scooter. They both stepped on it in no time and Yoona just had to over speed as they drive off.

 

'Why does she always use scooter when she can use a portal to go to school so quick and easy.' Seohyun wonders at the back of her head, which never missed the young nephilim's ears. But Yoona just decided to shrugs it. She's more than focus on her drive, than to still think of an answer about it. Besides, the young vampire doesn't know she can hear her thoughts, so there's no point of giving her a reaction.

After making sure Seohyun had entered her second class as well, the doe-eyed girl headed to her own second class as well. She was relieved their teacher hasn't arrived yet. But the moment she takes her seat, Seulgi and Chanyeol's gazes are on her almost instantly. The two are sitting in her right and left sides respectively.

 

"Alright... " she dropped her shoulders and sighs at the same time. "I sleep late last night again while working on our math homework."

 

"Chincha? You work on your math now?" Seulgi was a little surprise yet she's happy to hear it.

 

Yoona rolled her eyes. "Yeah, for the first time." but gives her friend an awkward smile.

 

"No wonder you wake up late. I'm a proud best friend." Chanyeol grabs Yoona by her neck through her arm and pulled her over close to him, so he can ruffle her hair playfully.

 

Yoona quickly pushed herself away from her friend. "Aish! You don't have to mess up with me hair." she fixed her hair while glaring to Chanyeol.

 

"Can I see your notebook, then Yoong?" Seulgi got excited and wanted to see if her friend did well on it. Yoona did not need to answer as she took her notebook from her backpack and handed it to her with a big and proud smile. "Hmm, let me see." she took it and checks her answers.

 

Chanyeol got up from his seat and went over Seulgi's, checking their friend's homework together. His eyes slightly widened as the young girl looked back at him. They have this surprised look in their faces, as they looked at Yoona together.

 

"You made all of these answers?" As if their friend has some serious problem in math, they questioned her intellectuality. "How did you made this?" But certainly can't imagine it's Yoona who did it.

 

"Aish! Give me that if you guys don't believe me now." Grabbing back her notebook, Yoona's brows raised as she checks her own answers. 'Wait... I don't remember I answer this way.' But to her surprised, it isn't as what she expects to be. She thought she answered it directly without giving any solutions, as the solutions only came from her roommate and she only wrote the answer right awa. But in her paper, it has solutions and there's even an explanation. 'Omo, Did Seohyun change this? Heol, I hope this wouldn't be suspicious.'

 

"Did you watch youtube videos about the equations?" Chanyeol returned to his seat, but couldn't help it and guess the reason why their friend seemed to got the right answers.

 

"Yeah, I think that way too." Seulgi agreed with Chanyeol. "You did, No?"

 

Yoona chuckled nervously. "Y-Yes. Do you guys do that too?"

 

"I do." Chanyeol raised his hand. "But I don't get that kind of answers. That's like come from a college student, Yoongie. Or don't tell me you ask anyone?"

 

"What?! Me? Of course not. You know I'm alone in my dorm." Yoona defensively says. "It's like I use a book and watch youtube about this so I get such long solutions that needs for our homework. It's only like that. It doesn't mean I honestly have another person with me, answering this.

 

"I'm still proud of my Yoongie, though." Seulgi giggles. "I hope you do this always."

 

"Yeah, thank you Seulgi." Yoona flash a simple smile to her friend.

 

"Well, I'm also proud. But I hope the answers are indeed correct... because I have different answers Yoong."

 

"Oh, mine too honestly."

 

"Eh? So we don't have the same answers. So only one of us will have the correct answers."

 

"Or I hope we will have high grades. I'm tired of having below 75 grades." Chanyeol sadly pout his lips.

 

"As if we don't always have that together?" Yoona chuckled, earning a smile from her best friend. Just then, students are hurriedly taking their seats, which cause for Chanyeol, Seulgi and the doe-eyed girl to turn their body, facing the board with an attentive face. Just a couple of seconds later, their teacher entered the room and the room got quiet.

 

"Before anything else, kindly pass your homework so I can check on it before the class ends." The teacher announces and the students including Yoona pass their notebook to the front. As soon as all notebooks are on her table, she began the class.

 

Yoona who hates math always finds herself listening attentively. Maybe of the reason that Seohyun have helped her last night. And to be honest, it was easier for her to understand when it came from the young vampire. As if she has thihs spell on her that she couldn't help herself and got interested listening to their new lesson.

Mouth are opening, Yoona couldn't believe her ears when their teacher told her or the class that the top student for their homework is none other than, herself. Everyone seemed to look surprised too, but their teacher didn't even made a surprise look. Instead, she sounded proud.

 

"This is what I am talking about. The more you strive to study, it will pay off. Look at Miss Im here." And definitely sounded happy for her. "Come and get your notebook, Miss Im."

 

Yoona smiled awkwardly as she gives Seulgi and Chanyeol, glances before she stands up and approach the front, where their teacher is standing, waiting for her to take her notebook, which is the last notebook in her hand.

 

"Congratulations, Yoona. Keep up the good work." Greeted their teacher.

 

"T-Thank you, Teacher Kim." The doe-eyed girl took her notebook and turned to face the envy and suspicious stares on her. She sighed and just returned to her seat right away.

 

"I knew you nailed the homework." Seulgi whispered to Yoona and gently poke her arm.

 

"Thanks Seulgi-ah." Yoona still put on her best smile.

 

"You better treat us lunch." Chanyeol also whispers and give her friend a flyer of a lunch meal to her friend's desk.

 

"What?! This is new and expensive lunch meal, Channie!" Yoona exclaimed, disapprovingly.

 

*CRIIIIIIING~*

 

"Alright class dismissed. Don't forget to study for another quiz tomorrow."

 

As soon as their teacher announces, everyone except Yoona groaned and started gathering their stuffs while their teacher left their room peacefully. Chanyeol who is faster than Yoona from grabbing his stuffs, pulled his friend up, instantly.

 

"You're treating us lunch, Yoong." said Chanyeol with a big grin plastered in his face.

 

"No! I don't have money for these, Channie!" Yoona however still couldn't agree.

 

"Yah! Channie-ah! Leave Yoong alone. I will treat you guys instead." Seulgi quickly saves the doe-eyed girl.

 

"Chincha, Seul?" Yoona did not miss it and she turned to her friend with a big smile.

 

"You heard me, Yoong. So come on now before lunch break is over." Seulgi did not waste time and leads her friends out of their classroom.

 

Chanyeol did not miss a beat and he follows Seulgi. But when it was Yoona who wanted to follow, she was reminded by her roommate.

 

"You go ahead guys! I forgot I have to fetch my friend I was talking about. We'll follow in the cafeteria." Instead of following them, she turned to the other side, and did not let her friends to reactas she jogs away from them. She opened her phone and quickly checks if she received any message from the young vampire. But likewise, she didn't. She just proceeds to her room and as soon as she arrived, she spotted the girl in their classroom. However, she isn't alone like her first day. "Who is this girl?" Her eyebrows rise, watching the stranger carefully approached the young vampire. She finds it interesting. So she decided to watch outside through the door's window for the meantime.

 

Meanwhile, Seohyun is unaware of the doe-eyed girl's presence, but she is aware of someone approaching her, getting closer and closer until this person stood right next to her desk.

 

"Um, S-Seohyun-ssi... Can I invite you for lunch today?"

 

Seohyun recognized the voice and slowly put her pencil down to her desk, as her head moved up, facing the same person she saved from a crashed yesterday. She blinks and blinks and... "Why?" Asked on her soft voice.

 

Yeri can feel her nervous heartbeats as she stared into those beautiful eyes from the president's daughter. She did not expect she will look into her eyes straight.

 

"Is there something... wrong?" Sensing the girl seemed tense, Seohyun asks in concern.

 

Yeri quickly cleared and open to speak. "N-Nothing. Um, I... I just want to ask if I can invite you for lunch together. You know... I was thankful that you save me yesterday. I jusy want to repay it, S-Seohyun-ssi. I hope you consider this time?" She literally sighed in relief after saying her words successfully.

 

"Only us?"

 

"Do you... Want to have lunch with my friends too?" Yeri is worried it bothers the other girl if it's only them.

 

Seohyun shakes her head. "No, I don't think I can share with your friends... But I can share with you." She smiled friendly towards the younger girl.

 

"Chincha?! Omo, thank you so much."

 

"You don't have to thank me. I should be the one telling you that. But can we wait for my friend for a while? She has my lunch."

 

"You have a friend here?" Yeri exclaimed. She didn't seem to notice it, so it's quite interesting.

 

"Y-Yes. Bht don't tell anyone, can you promise me that?"

 

"Su-Sure Seohyun-ssi. My lips are sealed. Um, but... Where's your friend now?" Yeri looked around the room, as if the other girl's friend is already around.

 

"Oh, she will text me later. She will be here later, don't worry." Seohyun flashed her friendly smile. Ever since she saves this girl only yesterday, she feels like she's not bad at all to be a friend. Just like her young nephilim friend.

 

"Okay. I... I will wait here too then." Yeri smiled awkwardly and pulled the chair nearby so she can sat down. She can't wait to have lunch with her hero. She's sure she's going to like what she prepared as well.

 

Seohyun returned her attention to her paper and resumes sketching something, which caught the attention of Yeri as well. The girl pulled her chair closer to her so she can have a closer look of her paper.

 

"What's that?" Asked Yeri while pointing to the drawing she can see in the latter's paper. It looks weird for her, because the drawing looks like some monsters? That gives her shivers.

 

Seohyun smiled. "Haven't you seen these kinds of creatures in your dream?" She wouldn't mind sharing what she sometimes sees in the middle of her closing eyes every night. It's not new for her, so she draws them if she gets to see sometimes.

 

"They looked scary for me. I don't think I have." Yeri said with a little shaky of her voice at the end.

 

Seohyun mentally face-palmed, reminding herself that this girl is a human, a full blooded human that doesn't have any idea about the shadow world. "Hehe, Don't mind it." So she folded her paper and put it in between of her notebook. "I was just random." She sheepishly smiled to her afterwards.

 

"They looked fictional though. Are you fond of them?"
