19 | Premonition 2.2

 

 

Seohyun's mind instinctively held her gun behind her jacket, as she answered Luna back first. "Where are you? In the helicopter?" The helicopter is getting closer and closer to the tower. She held her breath to prepare herself.

 

[How'd you know?] Luna chuckles amusingly on the next line.

 

"I just guesses. So what? Stop the bomb now. I'm with Tiffany." Seohyun replied, seriously and fiercely. But she's preparing herself. The place is not that crowded. This will be easy for her.

 

[We're not yet done, why would I stop the bomb?]

 

"I will give her only if you stop the bomb." Seohyun insisted.

 

[Are you sure what you are talking about? I would-]

 

"JUST GIVE ME WHAT I WANT!" Seohyun angrily shouted. She's getting nervous now, as time passes.

 

[Turn around.]

 

Seohyun tightened her hold over her gun as she breath in and out, before ended the call and swiftly complied, turning her body around to hold up her gun towards Tiffany. "Drop your weapon." She huskily commanded the older girl. People around are screaming and immediately runs off the place. Leaving them  alone at the top of the tower.

 

Tiffany gasped and eyes widened. "What are you doing?" She stepped back.

 

"I said throw your weapon away!" Seohyun shouted anxiously. "I know you have some knife there!"

 

Tiffany was clueless how did Seohyun knew. But before she could throw it away, Seohyun signal her to put her hands in the air. She hesitantly did. The younger girl stepped forward and check on her jacket she's wearing. She found the folded knife inside the pocket and throw it away. "Seriously. How did you know?" She exclaimed. The knife she sneak earlier in the Agency - she's sure no one notices it.

 

Without warning, Seohyun pushed Tiffany down and put one knee on her back, as she hold the gun forward again - aiming to the helicopter that is so close already. She releases a lot of bullets, causing for Tiffany to wince. The glasses were shattered all around them.

 

Series of Gun shots were also answered, yet she quickly avoided by hiding to a near wood chair. Tiffany does the same. But she attempted to grab Seohyun's gun, only to warn her with a gun shot. She punch her instead. Yet, Seohyun dodge and punch her straight on the face. It was hard that it almost lost her visions.  Thus, her nose is slowly creating a blood.

 

The gun shots are out - Seohyun then grab her on her wrist and pulled her up. 

 

"Stop it, or I will kill Tiffany." Seohyun put the head of the gun in Tiffany's head, while she held her wrist firmly from behind. Tiffany is trying to let go - she pressed her wrists too hard, earning a loud cry from the girl.

 

Luna opened the door in the helicopter and revealed herself with her devilish smile. "Come on, I was just kidding Seohyun. Want some?" she also hold up a glass of wine, chuckling in the process. Her voice didn't reach well in both Seohyun's and Tiffany's, because of the sound of blades of the helicopter.

 

"I am not giving Tiffany if you're not going to confirm to me that you already stop the bomb from exploding." Seohyun proposes, shouting. She's trying her best in holding Tiffany in place.

 

Luna signals the pilot to bring the helicopter more closer. As it moves and stopped so close now to the tower, she take this chance and quickly jumps. She kicks some few shattered  glasses on the floor as she approached them closer and closer. Seohyun is intensely glaring at her, while Tiffany is asking for help. She chuckled and finally stopped close enough to them.

 

"You want me to stop the blast first before giving our member?" Luna wanted to clear what she heard.

 

"I won't be here if I will not give Tiffany anyway. So If I were you, you should also cooperate with me." Seohyun stated, firmly.

 

"Give Tiffany first then I will stop the blast." Luna says instead. She opened her phone and shows the minutes left of the bomb on the screen of her phone. "You have minutes left. I will stop this when you already handed Tiffany back to us." She evily added.

 

"Are you kidding me?"

 

"No, I  am not Seo Joohyun." Luna instantly answered. "I'll just press the stop button, the bomb will be defuse."

 

Seohyun can't help but felt pressured. As glances to the phone,  she was tempted to give Tiffany to them. But as she thought of freeing Tiffany, there's two things that came to her mind, Luna will not stop the blast or she will stop it but with Tiffany with them. Or possibly, she will stop it and still fight with her. It's confusing her now. She has to save the citizen instead of caring about Tiffany though. But--

 

Beep.

 

[I've put a tracker at the back of Tiffany's ear. Seohyun, just make sure the bomb is defuse.] Her brother's voice echoed her ears, which made her a bit shiver. 

 

Beep

 

[Don't worry, we can get Tiffany back.] Yoona's voice also echoed. She's just on standby, outside. She's not worry anymore since the girl promised she will be careful.

 

"2 minutes left, Seohyun." Luna reminded, eyeing Tiffany with a hidden message. Only them know. "Come on, You can't let a lot of people hurt. That's an Agent's propose."

 

"But I know your evil mind as well. So it's not easy to give Tiffany back." Seohyun countered, pointing the head of the gun much harder to Tiffany's head.

 

"You really shouldn't hostage her, when I know all along - you can not shoot her."

 

Seohyun did not hesitate and shoot Tiffany's legs, earning her scream in pain. Luna gasped in surprised. "I can't shoot her indeed." she sarcastically stated.

 

"Yah, Why'd you have to do that?" Tiffany's cried out. She is enduring the pain, while Seohyun is still holding her really hard. Her right leg is not creating blood.

 

"And I can shoot her on the other leg again so she can't walk in the next few days. Now, stop the bomb or I will do it again?" Seohyun turned the table now. She cackled her gun and step back, pointing the gun to Tiffany's legs. She took a deep breath before she stared intensely back to Luna.

 

"Luna, just stop it." Tiffany can no longer do whatever is in Luna's head. Honestly, she is planning to kick the gun earlier, but now that her legs shot, she barely can even move. She's just enduring the pain to keep her still standing.

 

Luna bit her bottom lip. She's eyeing Tiffany then to Seohyun who is aiming the leg of her friend. Now, it's her turn to be confuse. Seohyun's face can't be joke around. How can she do this well? And it seems she had prepare this meet. Base on how she just shoot Tiffany without any fear and hesitations, she can kill Tiffany right there.

 

"Or do you want me to shoot her, here?" Seohyun traveled the gun from the bottom to the back of her head.

 

Heavily breathing, Tiffany begs to Luna. "Just please, stop... the... bomb... Luna. Please... my body is running out of blood." Her face is already so pale. At any moment, she'll lose her consciousness.

 

Luna frustratingly groaned and decided to stop the timer. It stopped around 1:02. And with that, she throw the phone and rushed to Tiffany and catch her before she could fall down. The latter loses her consciousness. She immediately lifted her up in a bridal style and turned to Seohyun.

 

"It's done. I think you should do your part." 

 

Sighing in relief, Seohyun let her arms hang low, and just says, "How'd you know Tiffany has something in her jacket?"

 

"I have my ways." Luna smirked, turning around and quickly hop in to the helicopter that has been waiting. The helicopter carefully fly away from the scene.

 

Seohyun breathed out in relief, as she drop on the floor, sitting like on her bum. She was catching her breath, as she revealed her gun to the people monitoring back in the Agency. She has no more bullets ever since then. "That was so close."

 

[Damn.] Yoona's curse was heard over her earpiece.

 

[The bomb was discovered in a subway. It was defuse already. Good Job Agent Seo. Oh, Welcome back Dongseng.]

 

"Yeah, welcome back to me. I didn't know this would greet me. I almost died." Seohyun couldn't help it and chuckle.

 

Just then, Yoona emerge from the entrance of the tower, rushing toward her immediately. She almost loses her balance when Yoona envelope her with a tight hug. She quickly turned off her earpiece so no one from the Agency will get to hear their conversation she's going to have with Yoona. Unknown to her, the moment she turned it off, the Agency also stop monitoring them. They put their attention on Tiffany, which they're tracking.

 

"Yah! I'm still alive!" She literally push Yoona gently away from her.

 

"I got scared when I saw your gun has no more bullets. If Luna have noticed it, she wouldn't just let the bomb explode, she will also kill you." Yoona exclaimed, face is really worried with.

 

"But I'm alive. Aigoo, you're so exaggerating." Seohyun slap Yoona's arm playfully.

 

"I so want to save you earlier. But I thought I could cause trouble. So yeah, I decided to stay in my place and wait until Luna gets Tiffany." Yoona replied with a cute pout. She took her girlfriend's hand and supported her as she stands up.

 

"Well, that was a good decision. You know Luna only wants to see me with Tiffany."

 

"I'm proud of my Seobabes." Yoona sweetly uttered, kissing her girlfriend's forehead. But only to receive and light punch, and Seohyun casually wrap one arm around her waist. She took this as a sign to leave. Yet, before leaving, she picked up the phone Luna throws earlier as an evidence. Seohyun on the other hand brought her gun safely back inside the pocket of her jacket. Though it has no more bullets. They both exited the tower, safe and sound. Never mind the broken glasses. The Agency already paid it.

 

Outside the tower, there was this romantic place for lovers - where they lock their promises to a padlock. Yoona didn't warned her girlfriend, took Seohyun's hand and drag her excitedly to it. Seohyun who has no mood about it, almost want to let go from Yoona's grasp, but when she saw where they're heading, she brightens. Ever since the encounter earlier, the place is so quiet. But good thing and the vendor selling padlocks was still there. Only that, they have call for her first before she went out, trembling.

 

"Ahumma, don't worry. The war is over... here." Yoona reassuringly smiled at the middle age woman, who sighed in relief. "But, we're not yet over - I mean... we're not leaving the place if we can't lock a promise to each other." 

 

"Aigoo, You can choose whatever you guys like." The old woman says, smiling to the couple. But she smiled more to Seohyun who was obviously blushing. Her eyes even avoiding hers.

 

"Hmm, what do you like Seobabes? They're pretty all, but I don't know what do you like out from these." Yoona nudged her girlfriend, as she looked around.

 

"You choose. I don't have favorite color. You know that." Seohyun replied instantly. Unfortunately, she's a bit shy. Since the vendor is still staring at her. As if, she's some celebrity.

 

Yoona picked up the white padlock instead. It has a pen, the key and a marker. She then paid it and told the old woman to keep the change as they eventually head out and look for a bench. They spotted one not long ago and sat down next to each other.

 

"What are we going to do though? Why suddenly do this?" Seohyun is not really a romantic person, which is opposite to Yoona. She has no idea about padlock at all.

 

"I've said it earlier, we'll say our promises then we'll mark the padlock the date we lock our promises." Yoona says, very excited. Though her partner is so innocent. She took out the padlock and it's key and unlock the padlock first. She put the padlock to Seohyun's palms and held it with hers. "Seobabes... " looking into her girlfriend's eyes seriously, she began. "I promise that I will always stay by your side. No matter what happens, I'll be my loyal and faithful girlfriend, from today and on wards. I will love you, not just today but also... tomorrow and in the future. My heart is only for you, Seobabes. I promise." She ended it with her sweetest and cute smile.

 

Overwhelmed by the affection her girlfriend is once again displaying, Seohyun shivers and eventually was flattered. She looked down to their hands and was convinced now with this stuff. Of course, she herself has to do a promise for her.

 

"Yoong... "

 

"Hmm?"

 

She stared at her again intently, and parted her lips to speak. "I don't know how this works, but I only have one simple promise." She pause and find herself biting her lip briefly before she continued, "I will only die when I'm already old enough... with you." she also smiled the same thing with Yoona. Yet, she kisses her cheeks in addition.

 

Yoona hold their hands up and kisses Seohyun's hands. Giggling, the younger girl also did the same with hers.

 

"Now, let's lock our promises." Yoona took the marker and handed it to Seohyun. "You put your name and I will put mine." She instructed her.

 

"O-Okay." Accepting the marker, Seohyun picked up the padlock and take her time writing her name. Yoona did the same. Yet, she put a heart next to Seohyun's name before she did to hers. Then, she also put a quote 'Always together'. She lastly put the date of the day.

 

"This is really cute, Yoong." Seohyun can't help it and comment.

 

"It's our love, so it's cute." Yoona also added, getting up with the younger girl. They both look around, finding the right place to lock the padlock.

 

"Seriously, there's a lot of padlocks." Seohyun sighed, couldn't believe she just honestly find this place to be romantic.

 

"I know right? That's how a lot of people are in love. Not just us." Yoona ushered Seohyun to follow her as she wanders the railing, that has a lot of padlocks already. "It's difficult to spot an empty space." She muttered to herself.

 

Seohyun is busy looking for a space as well. Squatting from time to time, peeking here and there close to the railing until she found one. "Yoongbabes, here." she immediately called her partner.

 

Yoona jogs back towards the younger girl. "Wow. You spotted it? You seriously has an eagle eye, eh?" She praised, earning a playful slap on her arm. She giggles and decided to finally lock the padlock, next to a lot of padlocks around. "You keep the key." She handed the key to her girlfriend.
