19 | Surprise

30 minutes had passed - Seohyun pulled the car over in an empty lot in front of a building. She unbuckled her seat belt and stepped out of her car. "Omo." that's when she realized - the building the twins and Mr. Kwon have entered is one of Kwon's properties. It's Kwon Hotel. The same hotel where she work and got fired because of the old Kwon. She knew it later when she discovered the real owner of the hotel.

 

"What are they doing here?" She wonders, as she decided to hurriedly followed them inside the hotel. She doesn't know where they go so she came to a halt, realizing that the hotel is just so big to look around for her twins. Rather, she opened her phone and called one of her -  Paul.

 

However, Paul is not answering.

 

She ended it and gradually approached the receptionist. It surprises her a little that the girl receptionist bowed towards her. Yet, she just shrugs and proceeds asking, "Um, I was wondering if I can ask about Mr. Kwon and his grandchildren? I mean, can I know where did they go?"

 

"They went to the hotel's extension building, Mrs. Seo."

 

"Ex... Tension?" Seohyun quizzically asked. "What do you mean extension?"

 

"Oh, haven't you learned? There's a new building." The receptionist told Seohyun.

 

"I-" Seohyun didn't get to answer when her phone rings against her hand. She looked at it and didn't think twice to answer the call. "Paul?"

 

[Omma, Guess what where are we with Grandpa?]

 

"I have no idea son but... where?" She curiously asked. But it gets her a little concern at the same time.

 

[We are at Kwon's Hotel - In their new ocean park.]

 

[Omma, You should come over!!!] Daniel's voice echoed at the back ground.

 

"Ocean Park? Just when did there's an Ocean Park there?" Seohyun wondered. She had never heard a news about the hotel honestly, ever since she married Yoona and started her career as a Nurse.

 

[Grandpa said it opens last week, but it started to operate today. Kyaaa so many sharks Omma!!!] came Paul's enthusiastic answer, causing for Seohyun to smile.

 

[Omma! There are a lot of dolphins too. Just like in the resort we've gone the last time!!!] Daniel's response is way brighter.

 

[Omma should go here too. And oh, Yoonie and Daddy too. Yoonie will surely like it here.]

 

There's a moment of silence in Seohyun. As she understand s the situation. But the moment she did so, speaks again. "Wow, that must be good there." Base on the twins' response, it sounds like they're in a good company. Her worries definitely subsided. "Enjoy Paul, Enjoy Danny. Stay close with Grandpa. Don't lost there, okay?" Seohyun had a sigh of relief hearing. Hence, it seems, Mr. Kwon is not planning to do any stupid thing to her twins. Well, he is the grandfather of the twins, who would like to see them hurting? "I'll see you at home honey. Tell Grandpa to come by the mansion for dinner." she added.

With that, She ended the call and exhaled in relief. "An Ocean Park? The hotel must have really upgraded now?" It's been a while since she last entered the hotel. She can't help it and reminisce the old times. "I'm glad the kids are enjoying there." She didn't think of bad things anymore and went back to her car. She checks the hotel for the last time before She buckled her seat belt and shortly drives off carefully.

Mr. Kwon can't put his happiness anywhere, as he keeps on snapping pictures of his grand children. He had been trying to get a great opportunity to bring them in the hotel's new offer to guests, and it looks like today is the right time. He had no more meetings and after this trip, he'll go home.

And more time for him to take pictures of his grandchildren, enjoying the view of every ocean species around them. Both are so happy talking and listening to the ocean park's speaker with the other kids around. He really didn't regretted bringing them in the formal opening day of the hotel's new building. Not to mention, he reminds them of his only son, Yul. Back when he's on the same age with them. They truly got their father's genes. But of course, he can see more of Seohyun in Paul's image - intelligent and really mature at thinking. 'Aigoo, I'm so old now. I have two grandchildren in one go. Two handsome grandchildren.' chuckled him, thinking about his age.

 

"Danny! Paul! Why don't we grab something to eat?" After a while, he called out for them, as time have seemed to come to an end for him.

 

"Grandpa, Omma asks if we can have dinner together tonight?" Daniel shared with his innocent eyes towards the old man.

 

"Yeah, Can we eat at home - rather Grandpa?" Paul also speaks with his hands clasps, looking up to face the old Kwon.

 

However, Mr. Kwon seems couldn't go with their offer. He smiled, apologetically as he replied, "I'm so sorry twins. Grandpa still needs to go back home as soon as possible. I have to finish some works tonight. But can we grabs some snack instead? That would be mean for Grandpa." 

 

The twins looked at each other then back to their Grandpa.

 

"Okay." As they both decided. "Thank you for today, Grandpa." they didn't think twice and rushed to him, hugging him immediately in his waist. Mr. Kwon chuckled, rubbing the head of the twins' in amusement. Yet, he can't help it and feel flattered with the twins' gratefulness.

 

"Come on now. Let's have some appetite for your dinner later." He says playfully, as he pushed them gently off of him.

 

Daniel took their Grandpa's left hand while Paul got his right, as they left momentarily left the ocean park - with bright faces. The twins are more than happy to spend their time in the Ocean Park. They just didn't had fun with their eyes, but they get to learn some new stuffs in every sea species.

Narsha's jaw is really hanging jaw ever since Seohyun went back and started cooking for dinner. She had been in her chair, just watching in amazement. She has never seen how serious she is like this. Not to mention, she's so inspired to cook tonight. As if something special will happen. Or someone special will come to have dinner with them. There are about 5 dishes now in the table - normal for a korean style dinner.

 

"Hyun... " She literally swallowed her saliva, as she decided to finally speak up. "What is happening? Why are we look like we have some visitors? Or what?" her is really so eager to eat those mouth watering dishes now. She bit her lip, to endure herself.

 

Seohyun smiled sweetly towards Narsha as she says, "Yoona sent me a message that she'll be having dinner with us. And, I've ask the twins to bring their Grandpa over for dinner. You know what is this about? It's called, celebration. Because, this is the first time we'll have dinner with my wife ever since she has become the chairman."

 

"Wow... indeed. That's-"

 

Ommaaaa!!!!!

 

"Oh, my baby had woke up. Can you kindly get her, Unnie? I'll finish cooking our dinner first."

 

Narsha stood up. "Of course. It's my job after all." she left the kitchen and headed upstairs momentarily. 

 

Just then, Seohyun receives a call. She pause for a while and picked up her phone on the side. A big smile plastered her face when she discovers it's her son, Daniel. "Danny? Are you guys outside now?"

 

[Nope. But we are heading home now, Omma!!!]

 

"That's great to know. Omma is ready for dinner kidwolf. I can't wait." Seohyun giggles. "But I need to hang up now baby. So the moment you guys arrives, dinner is up. Hmm?" She didn't wait for any response anymore as she end it up.

 

Putting her phone aside, she returned her attention to her cook. A couple of minutes later, Narsha went back to the kitchen, carrying her maknae - who just seemed gone from crying. Narsha put her on her chair.

 

"Omo, what's wrong with my baby? Why did you cry?" Seohyun had to pause again, as she wiped the remaining tears in Yoonie's cheeks.

 

"Omma, Yoonie. Yoonie had a dream." Yoohyun sniffles, pouting her lips cutely. 

 

"What is it baby?" Seohyun tuck her maknae's hair, behind her ears and kiss her forehead.

 

Yoohyun is still sniffling. "Monster - eat - Yoonie. It was big." She confessed with a fear in her eyes. "Yoonie - Yoonie is afraid, Omma."

 

"Aigoo, it's okay baby. It's okay. It's just a dream." Seohyun softly says. "It won't come true I tell you. No monster will eat Yoonie because my baby is a good girl. Hmm?" She reassured as she moved close and hug her. Yoonie's arm wrapped around her waist as she cried again. "Unnie, can you get some water? Shshsh... It's okay Yoonie. It's okay." She rubs her maknae's back momentarily. 

 

Narsha didn't waste time and gets a glass of water, handin it to Seohyun immediately.

 

As soon as the little girl calms down, Seohyun pulls back and handed the water to her baby girl. "Here, have some water baby."

 

Yoohyun hesitantly took the glass and take her time drinking the water. Seohyun is watching with a sweet smile forming in her lips. 

 

After a while, Seohyun got the glass back.

 

"Omma, Daddy - Where?" Yoohyun realized it's only her mother again. And her Daddy is no where to be found for the 2nd night. "No Daddy?" She asks, pouting her lips sadly.

 

Seohyun had a brief eye-contact with Narsha before replies to her maknae's question. "She will be here later - to have dinner with us, baby. So don't be sad anymore. Okay?" 

 

"Chincha?" Yoohyun exclaimed. "Daddy home early?!" as it made her happy that instant.

 

Bobbing her head up and down, Seohyun giggles and leaned close to kiss Yoohyun's cheeks. "But for now, let's wait and Omma will continue her work - Okay?"

 

"Yes! Daddy!!! for Daddy!!!" Yoohyun enthusiastically celebrated, moving her legs continuously and waving her hands in the air.

 

It gets more reason for Seohyun to smile. She rubs her maknae's head and went back to her cooking. Narsha take her seat back and decided to play with the younger girl while Seohyun is finishing her preparation for dinner.

"Omma!!!" Daniel and Paul comes running inside the dining room after learning that their mother and Yoohyun are now in the dining room, just waiting for them. Both almost crash on their mother, as they hug her from behind.

 

Seohyun is seriously surprised. But as she discovers it's only her twins, she sighed in relief and lowered herself to give each of them their welcoming kisses from her.

 

"Omma, Grandpa give us some gift." Paul happily shows the paper bag he's carrying. "He bought me superman shirts." 

 

"Me too." Daniel on the other hand, put his paper bag and brought out the toy truck inside. "He bought me this." He brightly says. "The one I've been eyeing."

 

"Oh, by the way Omma. Grandpa can't able to have dinner with us. Because he had some work to do." Paul informed his mother before anything else.

 

Seohyun has nothing to say except for, "Go up there and have some good shower. I and Yoonie will be waiting out here." 

 

Paul and Daniel didn't reply anymore. They just complied, leaving the dining room. Seohyun took her seat next to her maknae, who had been playing with her hello kitty stuff toy.

 

"Aigoo, your two oppas are really energetic always - eh? I think there's no moment they're not?"

 

"Daddy? Where?" Yoohyun asks about her Daddy however. She hugs her stuff toy and pout her lips. "Yoonie hungry Omma."

 

"Me too, baby. But let's wait for your Oppas and Daddy." Seohyun softly says, fixing her little girl's hair. The latter smiled back and returned her attention to the stuff toy. She kisses the nose of the fluffy stuff toy and squeezes it like it's her friend. "I thought you don't like hello kitty because Daniel Oppa doesn't like her? What's going on to my baby?" Seohyun let out a chuckle.

 

"Pink. Yoonie likes pink." Yoohyun cutely says. She giggles as she pinched the nose this time.

 

Seohyun proudly pinch her little girl's cheeks on the other hand. "That's my girl." she's proud because she made her like pink instead of colors for male - like what Yoona wanted to make her. Checking for her phone again, she received one message she just noticed. She opens it and read the content.

 

Baby hubby:

[It looks like I couldn't make it.

I'm sorry.]

 

"Shut up."

 

"Omma?" Yoohyun curiously asks her mother as soon as she heard her gasps.

 

Turning back to her daughter, Seohyun fake a smile. "It's okay baby. But... " she pause as an idea came to her mind. "Let's surprise your Daddy instead."

 

"Huh?"

 

"Hold on. Don't move there." getting up, Seohyun headed to the door and opens it. "Narsha Unnie! Can you bring me lunch boxes here?! We're going to Yoona's Company!!! We'll pack this dinner to her company!!!" only to shout loud enough.

 

"Araso!!!" Came Narsha's faint voice.

 

"Thank You Unnie!" Satisfied, Seohyun gradually went back to her daughter and gives her a confident smile. "Let's go and surprise your Daddy."

 

"Whoa, Yoonie go out?!"

 

"Absolutely." Seohyun winks to her daughter. 

 

Yoohyun did not hesitate and started celebrating. "YEHHEEEEEYYY!!!" happily.

Sehun grabs his phone on the side after he had check on a patient. He leaned on his seat and checks on his history call when he realizes there's a call history of Nurse Seo? "I called her? When?" As he checks on the time, it's when he went out to check some patients before lunch. "Hmm, I think who did this." And as he recalls, he caught Kris leaving his office when he went back to his office.

 

Getting up, he left his office and proceeds to his friend's office.

 

"Come in." Came Kris' faint voice after knocking on his door.

 

He turned the knobs open, and walks in with his smirk forming in his lips.

 

"What's up? Are you asking me for dinner now?" Kris has no clue and asks his friend obliviously.

 

Sehun crosses his arms near his chest. "Tell me, why did you call Nurse Seo?" He asks while squinting his eyes.

 

"What call are you talking about?" Kris chuckles, denying strongly.

 

"Don't you think I'm fool? I didn't remember calling Nurse Seo in the middle of my work earlier. You - I've spotted you leaving my office. Don't tell me you sneak in only to grab some chocolates?"

 

Once again, Kris chuckles. "I really don't know what you are talking about, Bro. Why would I call her if It's me, eh?"

 

"Because you're interested with her. That simple. So what? You will admit it or not?" Teases Sehun, grinning widely.

 

'Aigoo. I should have deleted the call history.' Kris sighed and admitted his action. "Fine. I did. You know, just like to hear her voice. But I didn't get to do it because... I was overpowered by my shyness."

 

"Shy?" Sehun amusingly chuckles. "Just when did you are shy? Aigoo, just tell me straight that you are missing her. She never talk to you last night, so I presume you are doing some efforts to make her talk to you. No?"

 

"Aish! You got it! What's wrong about it? It was you who said we are like fated to be in the same hospital. Why can't you stop teasing me?!" Kris got annoyed, glaring towards his friend.
