"Have we arrive yet?" 

 

Yoona got startle in her seat when she heard that very soft and familiar voice from an angel. She let out a long yawn before she checks the girl next to her. "Oh, you awake." who was already awake, and not leaning on her shoulder anymore.

 

"Yeah, we're nearing now." Seohyun mumbles before she turned to the other girl. "You fell asleep too?"

 

Yoona shook her head truthfully. "I was listening to a mellow music while closing my eyes." She pointed to the earphone she's wearing over her ears.

 

"Oh, I thought you are." Seohyun let out a huge yawn and giggles momentarily.

 

"You were so tired." Yoona smiled,  reaching for the latter's hair strands and tuck it behind her ears. Seohyun shyly smiled, thanking her at thanking her at the same time. "By the way, your Uncle called. I've answered it thinking it's important. I hope you don't mind."

 

"Uncle?" Seohyun widened her eyes. "Who?" Heart instantly beats nervously, thinking that one of her relatives called her and told Yoona about her real status in life.

 

"Director Shin? Uncle Shin?" Yoona furrows her brows. "He called to check on you but... he also ask me for dinner. Hehe. I can't decline." She smiled sheepishly.

 

A sigh of relief escaped the young princess' lips. "That's a relief. I-I mean... I thought someone else called." 'But really? Uncle? Director Shin is so funny.' She giggles afterwards.

 

"So is it okay? I will come for dinner?"

 

"It's him who ask right? Who am I to decline. Plus, I think this is a way to repay you for today's tour." Seohyun said in glee. She really had fun, despite all the teasing. Totally made her day. Not to mention, she learned more about the doe-eyed.

 

Yoona was fluttered. "Okay. I can't wait to arrive. Though you sounded like you made me a tourist guide."

 

"Dinner with my sister too?" Seohyun ignored the older girl's joke.

 

"Yeah, absolutely." Yoona smile in beam.

 

"Heol. She will really be happy." Seohyun mentally face palmed.

 

"But I'm more than happy." Yoona meaningfully stated.

 

"You don't know how she idolizes you, Yoona-ssi. I swear, she could pounce on you."

 

Yoona chuckled. "Did I just hear you say pounce? That's horrible."

 

"You don't know her well yet. She really bites if she likes someone." Seohyun said, though she doesn't mean it.

 

"Trust me, she won't. If she really idolizes me, she wouldn't hurt her idol. Is that right?" Yoona grinned.

 

Seohyun shrugs her shoulders. "Just don't forget I warned you." As she looks outside momentarily. The sun is setting from the horizon. It somehow made her genuinely smile. Her eyes are tired but she wouldn't miss an opportunity to see the beauty of France's sunset.

 

"I'm used to my fans, so it's okay. I can handle them. To think, she's just one of  And a dinner should be a peaceful one." Yoona replied softly. A bit late because she also realized the sunset over Seohyun's side. That beautiful her lips is slowly making the reason to formed into a sweet smile. Eyes also formed like a crescent moon.

 

Seohyun noticed Yoona got silent, and turn to looked at her.

 

"I love sunset too." Says the doe-eyed softly.

 

Slowly turning her head to the sunset, "Sunsets are really pretty. Made me appreciate the sun."

 

"My mom once told me that if you love to appreciate stuffs, from the smallest to the biggest... you also appreciate life." Yoona shared, recalling her mother's words.

 

"I do. I really do." Seohyun sighed. Because honestly, she started appreciating life when her mother left her for such a young age. It was the most heartbreaking story of her life, but that made her appreciate the life she has right now.

 

"Live life to the fullest, as what they say." Yoona added softly. "So I'm doing the same. hehe."

 

"No doubt you are a psychologist student." Seohyun muttered, having been hearing the older girl sharing nice quotable sentences.

 

"Huh? Did you say something, Hyunnie?" Yoona however didn't get the words from the younger girl.

 

Seohyun turned her head face her partner. "I said, I had a great day today. It was because of your fear of skulls." Chuckled her afterwards.

 

Yoona put on a poker face. "You just did not say the skulls again."

 

Seohyun stuck her tongue victoriously. The latter rolled her eyes out of annoyance.

Just after a long drive, Yoona and Seohyun arrived in front of the hotel's lobby, safe and sound, tire but both are smiling in satisfaction.

 

"Let me take that." They're greeted by Director Shin, who took the backpack from Yoona right away. Then, he made a way for them to enter the hotel.

 

Yoona felt weird, but before he can ask why Director Shin acted like he is part of the hotel's staff, Seohyun tangle her arm around her again and drags her gently to the hotel. Like she also did when they left the hotel earlier. Yoona is getting used to it.

 

Walking into the lift, all three of them stood in line, but Yoona finds herself to be in the middle, and can feel the old man's side-eyes, giving her a reason to gulped nervously.

 

Seohyun on the other hand is silently smiling to her own. The refection of them through the metal doors is hilarious. Yoona stiffened in her side, looks like a bodyguard or a statue. 'Probably because of Director Shin.' She thought, as she also realizes the old man is side-eyeing seriously the doe-eyed. It anticipates her what will happen later in the dinner. But when Yeri's name crosses her mind, she sighed - hoping the latter won't be like a crazy fan girl, smiling like an idiot to Captain Im.

As soon the door opens, all three of them casually walked out. However, Director Shin blocked Yoona's way through her hand, before she can walk with them to the princess' room. Yoona confusedly stared to the old man.

 

"Freshen up, Yoona-ssi. The dinner will be later - At Pierre Gagnaire. 7 sharp." He friendly smiled.

 

Yoona take a glance to Seohyun, who flashed her a smile and mouthed 'See you'. "Fine. I'll take that note, Mister Shin." She said in defeat, bowing in the process. With a last glance and smile to the young girl, She her feet around and peacefully left them, heading to her room.

 

Director Shin turned his head to Seohyun. "You too. You look like you have really had fun. Your hair is dirty, your highness." He ruffles the princess' hair to emphasize what he's saying. "See? There's a lot of dust."

 

Seohyun playfully punched the old man's arm before she flipped her hair. "Dust or not, I know my hair still looks so good for you, Director - Oh should I say, Uncle Shin?" She grinned, and quickly jogs to her room.

 

Director Shin scoffs but can only follow the young and stubborn princess.

"Um, something came up. My friend's Uncle have asked me to join the dinner later. What time are you coming back?" Yoona answered while she's in the middle of searching for the best outfit of the night. Few of her clothes are now on the bed, as she keeps on throwing. For unknown reason, she's pressured to look good in front of Seohyun's Uncle. She can't just wear some random pajamas, or a casual outfit. She would look bad for his eyes for sure. And to think, he was wearing a suit earlier, he really looks a respectable person.

 

[I'm coming back around 8. Aigoo, I'll have dinner here then. Wait, what's with the noise?]

 

"I'm searching for a best outfit of the night."

 

[Wae? Is this a formal dinner?]

 

"Um, I have no idea. But I want to look decent. Aish, I only have one color in my clothes... "

 

[Yeah, of course. Because you only like black and white. tsk,tsk.]

 

"And most are jeans and shorts. Do I really have a bad taste in fashion?" Yoona just realized how boring is her taste.

"I'll just wear this white turtleneck top black suit jacket and black skinny jeans then. Is that okay?"

 

[Put on some powder or foundation too. I think you don't do that.]

 

"Eh? I always do Appa! How could you tell me that!" Yoona turned her body and headed to the bed, to place the clothes she has chosen.

 

[Hahaha! I was just kidding. You sounded so stress for only an outfit, you can't blame me. Anyway, good luck to your family date with her family. Hahaha. I'm hanging up now. See ya later, sweetheart~]

 

"Okay. Take care, Appa." With that, She put her phone down to the night stand and let out an exhale. "I think it's not good." Heck, she changed her mind. She went back to the closet again to choose the best outfit.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, 3 minutes before the clock says 7:00pm, Yoona look around the place and noticed that most of the guests are French, base on their language she can loudly hear. And it looks like, it's a luxury hotel. Yoona gulped and sighed.

 

One guy wearing a tuxedo approached her and asked her in English. Maybe because she looks Asian.

 

"Any reservations Miss?"

 

Yoona take a moment of silence to prepare her tongue before she answered in the same language. "Reservation for the Seo?"

 

"Oh, her highness. Come with me."

 

"What? Highness?" Yoona asked but the guy already walked away, asking her to follow. She felt so weird with the call about the Seo, however, she can't stay in her place forever. Hastily, she catches up to the guy, before he could be lost from her sight.

 

It was only a short while and they arrived at a rounded table. Compared to the others, it was near at a garden. A garden rose. The table is white and the chairs are red. A chandelier hanging on top looks like one on the palace, like the one in Seohyun's room, so shiny and pretty. Not to mention, the glass wall around is overlooking the famous tower. The flower vase of red roses in the middle of the table completes the expensiveness of this special table. 

 

Yoona's speechless. She can no longer react when the guy told her to take her seat. Rather, she complied.

 

"They'll be here in a while. I'll comeback once they arrive. Enjoy the scenery first." The guy said and left the table.

 

Yoona blushed realizing that she was early than them. However, she can't also wait them though. There are few minutes anyway before seven.

 

"Wow, even the glasses, they look expensive." Yoona take noticed the stuffs more on the table. It's not really the same from a normal table. "She seems really rich?" She sighed, now that she learned it. Well, she doesn't care about her status in life. She cares more about their growing friendship.

 

Leaning back on her seat, she was about to bring her phone out when she saw whose coming to the table. She changed her mind as she get up and bowed rather to Seohyun's Uncle.

 

Director Shin simply signal her to take her seat, which she complies right on.
