Yuri let out a huge exhale after doing all her workouts together with Roxy inside the apartment only. She went to the kitchen and check the fridge but she closes it when realized there's a sticky note that says:

 

I'm going to the national library today.

Kindly please feed Roxy and walk him out to the park.

"Aish, if only you're not the owner of this apartment." Yuri took the note and throw it to the trashbin and continued to get her bottle of water. She however choke on her own water when she heard her phone rings from the living room and the wolf came up to her. "Who would call me this early?" She casually walked out and picked up her phone on the coffee table only to almost dropped the phone to read Jessica's caller ID. "Why-why is she calling?" It got her in panic but she soon calmed down and answered the phone call.

 

[Yuri-ssi!]

 

"Jessica-ssi! What's up?!" She confidently answered.

 

[Help me!]

 

Yuri was about to ask her when she heard noises and Jessica's scream. "What-what's going on?" and she heard a thud followed by more screams from Jessica. She sounded like someone is hurting her because she can hear a slap and kick and more of it. She hurriedly ended the call and called Yoona but the latter isn't answering. "Aish, just when I needed her help." She runs to Yoona's bedroom and change her clothes while heading out. But she returns when she realized she saw Yoona's extra key for her scooter. "Let me borrow your scooter." Even though she had no idea if the doe-eyed left with her scooter she just grabbed her chance and took it and hastily left the apartment, leaving the wolf behind.

 

"Araso." A big smile plastered in her face when her instincts were right. She didn't think twice and stepped on it and drives off, knowing exactly the apartment of the blonde girl. But while she's on the road, she received a call from Chung Ah and she answered it through her earpiece.

 

[Did you get in touch with Jessica?]

 

"Yes, earlier. She's in danger. Someone is hurting her when she called me." She replied worriedly. "Are you in her apartment?"

 

[I received a call earlier but wasn't able to answer it. Now I am trying to call her but her phone is off. I'm on the way to the apartment now.]

 

". I'm on way too." With that said, she ended the call and speeds up, passing all the cars and trucks ahead of her.

The stalking continues. Yoona and Seohyun finds themselves following the two cars that just left the cafe. Both are quiet and focus on the road until the two turned to an intersection.

 

"Are they going to the airport?" Yoona raises her eyebrows, knowing exactly the road that they're taking.

 

"Who are they fetching?" ask Seohyun too as she meet her girlfriend's eyes when she turned her head to her. She casually feeds the doe-eyed with her pop corn

 

"I don't know but all I know is that, they're up to something." Yoona said as she smiled afterwards to her girlfriend.

 

Seohyun smiled back. "Keep your eyes on the road." Reminding her casually.

 

Yoona complied. She speed up more when she realized the two cars have faster speed than them. "We can't get them out." She muttered, holding the steering wheels tightly.

 

"This feels like in a movie." Seohyun commented. She hold into her seat and keep her eyes on the road as well. But she couldn't help and noticed how Yoona looked like, driving the car like a professional racer. It made watch her for the time being and be mesmerized.

 

Another intersection they met, they amost lost them once the lights changes.

 

"I won't be surprised if they're fetching another vampire." Yoona mumbles as she continue her drive. Good thing the two hasn't realized they're following.

 

"But aren't you curious why the Director is doing this to the Shadow Hunters?" Seohyun is eager to know. She felt like her father is even the mastermind which she couldn't accept as his daughter.

 

"That's going to be my priority. I can't let him continue his scamming to us. Especially my father. He's trusting him." Yoona sighs disapppointingly.

 

Seohyun gives her girlfriend a gentle tap on her shoulder and reassuringly smiled.

 

After 30 minutes, they arrived at the airport. Yoona and Seohyun put on their hoods and face mask and stepped out of the car and continue to follow.

 

"Stay close." Yoona said lowly as she hold the young vampire's hand. The airport is crowded so it's not easy for them to get caught but they still have to be careful.

 

Upon finding a stand poster, they hide immediately behind it as soon as Mr. Seo and Director Kim stopped on their tracks. They started checking their time, looking like they're waiting for someone.

 

Seohyun who is behind the young nephilim, stayed quiet but at the same she's observing her father. She can easily know if her father is uncomfortable or anything. And right now, she's obviously anxious. 'I wonder who are they waiting?'

 

Yoona heard her girlfriend's thoughts and just ignore it. She keep her eyes on them while she looked around, so she can see immediately who's coming.

 

Suddenly Mr. Seo turned her head on the left behind, they hastily pulled back as they hide in the process. Yoona covered Seohyun's mouth while she holds her on her waist. Both of them are patiently hiding and waiting before they peek again and found them still standing on their spot.

 

Moments later, someone is approaching them. Both of their eyes are widening, couldn't believe their eyes, watching Tiffany converse with the two men. She looks so pretty and healthy, smiling and laughing with her father.

 

'No-No way.' Seohyun gasped.

 

"We have to get out here." Yoona whispered to the young vampire, taking her hand and dragged her out of the airport immediately.

 

As soon as the have returned to the car, Seohyun took her bottle and drank her drink in a fast manner. She felt so betrayed by her own father. All she thought she wanted to protect her from her sister but turns out, she's trapping her. She's setting her up.

 

"Yoona, please drive me back to your apartment." She requested after finishing her drink.

 

Yoona can totally understand. She hastily complied. "I don't know what are we going to do." She admits after what they found out.

 

"Let's not think about this for now." Seohyun replied with a deep sigh.

 

Reaching for her girlfriend's hand, Yoona hold her and smile reassuringly.

Just as she closes the car door, Seohyun pause when she heard her phone ringing. She took it out and raises her eyebrows upon reading Yuri's caller ID. "Yuri-ssi?"

 

"She called me earlier too." Yoona told the young vampire after checking her phone.

 

[You're with Yoona right? Can you tell her to come? My friend Jessica was kidnapped. I need her help to find her.]

 

"What?" Seohyun gasped upon hearing. "Se-send me your location then."

 

"What's going on?" Yoona got worried.

 

"Jessica, she was abducted. Yuri just sent me the location." Seohyun informed and ushered her doe-eyed girlfriend to get in the car again.

 

Yoona the engine back. "What the heck with today?" She carefully drives off while still couldn't believe what's going on.

 

"I know right? Aish, we were just having our first date and this is happening now." Seohyun groaned, totally not having the day already even though she and Yoona started it good.

 

"This is making me curious about Jessica. I mean, I think her family isn't just a simple one."

 

"Chincha? You mentioned she's popular in our school, didn't you?"

 

"Yes. But did not expect her family is this influential for her to get kidnapped."

 

Seohyun suddenly received a text which averted her attention to her phone. "Yuri told me the CCTV cameras around theit house were turned off. She couldn't tell who kidnapped her."

 

"Tell her to check the outside if there are CCTV on her neighbor." Yoona instructed without looking away from the road while she's following the GPS.

 

"Yes." Seohyun hastily texted the older nephilim and got her response right away. "They're checking with Chung Ah now."

 

Yoona did not respond. She just speed up more until they reached the destination. They were greeted by a big house which didn't surprise them.

 

"Did you call her again?" Ask the doe-eyed right away when she saw Yuri.

 

"I did... earlier. But she's not responding anymore. Actually she called me, asking for help, that's when I learned she's being kidnapped." Yuri explained what happened. "When I got here, she's already gone. Bad news, her parents aren't in the country, she's only living with her maid."

 

"Her maid was abducted as well." Chung Ah added.

 

"Did you guys call the police?" Seohyun asks.

 

"We did. They're looking inside the house now to see if there's anything that can lead them to the kidnapper." Yuri informed and sigh.

 

"Any person in mind that can do this to Jessica?" Yoona asks this time. She got curious with the incident even though she doesn't know Jessica that well.

 

Chung Ah shakes her head a little but a name suddenly crosses her mind. "Jo Jung Suk!"

 

"Who is he?" Yoona, Seohyun and Yuri chorused, looking at Chung Ah interestingly.

 

"His Uncle on her mother side. His a ert man she always avoid every time there's a reunion. I can be wrong but he's the only person in my mind right now because he recently contacted her."

 

"Damn. She's more than in danger." Cursed Yuri, kicking the ground.

 

"Can we get inside?" Yoona asks for a permission as she wanted to look around the room as well. It's not a downworlder's case but she wanted to help like the police officers.

 

"I'm afraid they'll not allow you, Yoong." Seohyun is concerned. "Let's just wait until they finished."

 

"I agree with Seohyun." Yuri second the young vampire. "They'll finish in a while either way. For now, let's check the CCTVs around the neighborhood. Or we can ask a witness if we can find out."

 

"Alright, let's take in this side." Yoona pointed on her right.

 

"We'll take the left side then." Yuri replied and they separated ways.

 

"W-wait for me!" Seohyun doesn't know where to go. But seeing Chung Ah is with Yuri, she hastily follows the doe-eyed. "Babo!" She hit Yoona's shoulder when she caught up with her.

 

"I told you to take this side." Yoona chuckled in amusement.

 

"You didn't mention my name." Seohyun replied as a matter of fact.

 

"Aish!" Yoona ruffles her hair playfully earning another hit. She stuck her tongue out and resumed on searching around the neighborhood.

 

Seohyun just fix her hair eventually as she looks around on every corner of the road. There are more big houses around with tall walls as gates. But less light post. "What town is this called again?"

 

"One of the richest towns. People living here are politicians, celebrities and businessmen." Informed Yoona. She couldn't believe it's hard to find CCTVs.

 

"No wonder. Most of them wanted privacy that... It's going to be hard to find cameras around." Seohyun shared her theory.

 

"That could be. Aish, how are we going to begin the search of her location that even her phone is turned off." Yoona got frustrated and ruffles her hair. She stopped on her tracks to face the young vampire. "What are you doing?" But only to see her looking up to a tall tree. She approached her and followed where she is staring. "A camera!" She got brighten upon finding one.

 

"Now what?" Seohyun raised her eyebrows.

 

"No worries." Yoona took her phone out. "Go climb there and open this app next to it. It will get datas."

 

"Seriously me?" Seohyun pointed herself in disbelief.

 

"You told me you want to be part of the team, right? Then go up there." Yoona doesn't even care if she's her girlfriend. She just wanted to see her skills. "Come on, before any mundane could see us." She turned to her left and right and find the road empty.

 

"Yeah, yeah, I got it." Snatching the phone, Seohyun however got an idea. "In one condition."

 

"What?"

 

"Kiss me." She purses her lips immediately.

 

Yoons snickers but she complied nonetheless and leaned in forwarr but was surprised when Seohyun suddenly just left her hanging. "Yah!" She was already up there on the tree.

 

"Wae? Only you can play?" Seohyun stuck her tongue, mimicking what the nephilim did while she's waiting for the phone to connect to the CCTV camera.

 

"I should've known." Chuckled Yoona shaking her head and giving her girlfriend a make-up big heart over her head.

 

The young vampire giggles, sending flying kisses down to the doe-eyed.

 

"Got it!" Seohyun announced and just easily jumped off of the tree, landing in front of the older girl and handed the phone.

 

"Thanks." Quick, Yoona review the footages that was captured.

 

Meanwhile on the other side, Yuri was the one who got the cctv footages from a light post. She immediately proceeds on reviewing all the scenes that was captured.

 

"SG9050." Both nephilims confirmed the plate number that took Jessica.

"The owner is not his Uncle but he's related. A friend. Probably they used his car to kidnap his niece or his Uncle has nothing to do with this..." Yoona explained after finding out the owner. Yuri who is driving car nodded in understanding while she's focus on the road. S
