It took at least two minutes before Seohyun pulled back to see the young nephilim's face. "I mean it. Chincha. I really, really mean it." She added, as she can see how stunned the latter is and is making her curious and worry at the same time for her response. She can hear her rapid heartbeats loud and clear which means it had effect on her and she's apparently processing what she told her. She gently took her hand and place it on her chest. "You're the reason why my heart is beating since high school, Yoona. You know what that means." she continued even though the doe-eyed couldn't focus on her. She waited patiently until Yoona find her gazes again.

 

"I can't. We can't." Yoona said apologetically.

 

"Wae?" Surprised and confused, Seohyun searched for an answer through her eyes but she couldn't find it.

 

Yoona sighs. "It's not the same anymore."

 

"You don't love me?"

 

"I do." She answered that instant. "I always do." she seriously and sincerely replied. "But things have change that it's not safe for us anymore-"

 

"If you do then should you be taking risk? Back then it wasn't also safe but we're still that vulnerable. We both can protect ourselves now so why wouldn't you take the risk? Your reasons are invalid." Seohyun couldn't understand the reason from the doe-eyed. "I returned because of you, Yoona even though I know it's going to be a risk. My parents, my sister, they all wanted me to hook with another vampire but I'm here, trying to win you back. Can't you do the same?" she got frustrated but at the same time she hopes Yoona understand what she means. "I want my pumpkin back. I want us to return the way we are back then... "

 

Yoona stayed quiet as she only watches the young vampire talk and let it sink in her head that Seohyun wasn't the same high school girl anymore. She's not the shy and vulnerable young girl back. She's not the girl who would always ask her help, who would ask to cook for her, to accompany her wherever she wants to go. She can do it on her own now and she's missing that part since she returned. Especially about protecting herself. She knows she can do it on her own but she's acting like she can't. She definitely needs to accept that fact now.

 

But it's undeniable that she's proud and like to see it.

 

"I miss also our-" Without warning, she pulled her to kiss her deeply. She didn't miss a beat and she nibble on her upper lip and lower until Seohyun opened up and kiss her back, bringing goosebumps all over her body and is making her heart goes crazy. She misses her, she misses her touch, her lips, the way their lips would dancing against withe each other, the way it's making her breathless and addicted to her taste. Seohyun is definitely her guilty pleasure.

 

Wrapping her arms around the doe-eyed girl's neck, Seohyun responded with the same passion as Yoona do. It's making her crazy the way Yoona is showing her how much she yearns for her. But she loves it. She loves every second they're kissing at the moment. It's healing her guilt from the past when she chooses to be with her sister. And it's making her determine to fight for their love. No one's going to take it from her anymore.

 

Unconsciously, due to the fire between them, she unintentionally bit on her lower lip that it stopped Yoona.

 

"You just... " Yoona got panic as she touches her lip but was relieved to see Seohyun's fangs weren't there anymore. She smiled giddily as Seohyun suddenly kiss her again but only to taste the blood on her lip.

 

"I'm sorry." Seohyun cutely pouted. "Your blood tastes like wine." But proudly said it.

 

"I'm half human half angel, that's why." Yoona couldn't help and chuckle. "But don't worry, it won't affect you."

 

"How about you?" Seohyun's worried.

 

"It won't since you don't have your fangs when you bit me."

 

She raises her eyebrows and hastily touch her teeth. She brightly smiles when she finally realizes it. "Did you make it disappear?"

 

"I don't know what happened. But it was there before I kissed you... it just disappeared I guess." Yoona innocently replied. "Wait." But she noticed something on the girl's wrist. She holds it and widened her eyes. "You have my name in your wrist?"

 

"Yup."

 

"When did this appear?"

 

"I think when I left Seoul... when I broke up with you." Seohyun sighs as she recalls how it broke her heart but she's happy now that they're back.

 

"No wonder... you couldn't also forget about me." Yoona sighs.

 

"Just like you. But I really thought this will not happen to me when I'm not like you." The young vampire smiled widely, proud that she and her are really destined for each other.

 

"My father has yet to explain everything to me."

 

"About?"

 

"About us being on the prophecy. I feel like he's hiding what's behind this. But once Taeyeon returns, I'm going to investigate about this." Yoona's confessed. But her lips curved into a smile as she reminds herself Seohyun and her are back together. She pulled her for another hug and whispers, "I miss everything about you, munchkin." and she finally can't resist and call her that. She had been eager to do it.

 

"Me too, Pumpkin." Seohyun replied as she giggles. She pulled back a little just to see her face and cupped it with her hands. "You're mine forever." she whispers, gently rubbing her little cut on her lip. She then kisses her again and again until Yoona started giggling. She stopped and look at her in the eyes. "You change, though."

 

"You noticed?"

 

"You used to be so choding and can't resist me but now-"

 

"I'm just trying to protect you." Yoona interrupted which muted Seohyun. She gently fixes her hair and continued, "We have to hide this... For a while."

 

"Wae?"

 

"Shadow hunters are after your sister. I'm afraid they'll catch you too. So don't share this to anyone. And let's be careful with our moves."

 

Seohyun nodded in understanding. But she smiled mischievously when something reminds her again. "Payback time later, okay?" She put her arms on her shoulders and pull her to presses their bodies. "Prepare yourself. You won't regret this." She whispers as she pecks on her lips.

 

"Whatever. You're mine again. I don't mind." Yoona charmingly smiled back arms are protectively around her girlfriend's waist.

 

Seohyun was about to reply when the bell rang indicating that lunch break is over. "Aigoo."

 

"Let's skip class." Yoona announced.

 

"Chincha?" Seohyun is totally happy to hear it.

 

"I need to stalk your Aunt." Yoona explained however.

 

"Oh, I thought you are bringing somewhere." Seohyun got disappointed in an instant.

 

"Not today."

 

"You've been working so hard."

 

"I'm a shadow hunter." Yoona reminded.

 

"Even so. Come on, let's go out and seize the day while it's not yet night time." Seohyun whined and cutely pouted. "Please, pumpkin."

 

Yoona's heart flutters that she couldn't help and pinch her cheeks and kiss her forehead. "No. Do you want to be expose by the other shadow hunters?"

 

"Right." Seohyun sighed sadly. "But... we will be careful. Come on, just once?" However, she couldn't give up that easily.

 

"You choose, you start dating me or you will get expose?"

 

"What kind of a question is that?!"

 

"You know the shadow hunters are so busy hunting outworlders out there. There's-"

 

"Araso! Araso! You win! I will date you rather than getting expose. Aish, why is it hard to date you?" The young vampire glared at Yoona briefly and pouted.

 

Yoona cupped her face and kiss her left cheek a few times. "I love you." Before telling her. She does the same on the right and whispers again, "I love you."

 

Seohyun softened and her smile returns. "Say that again." She demands to hear it again as it suddenly makes her bright again. It's like a music listening to those three words from the doe-eyed.

 

"I love you." Yoona sweetly said, pecking on her lips a few times and a satisfied smile appeared on her face. "I can't forgive myself if something will happen to you."

 

"I won't let that happen; I promise." Said Seohyun to assure her. She knows she is doing it to her because she failed to protect her back then.

 

Yoona hold her again in her arms. "Let's stay like this for a while." She requested. She misses her warmth and she suddenly felt clinging into her for the meantime. It feels unreal that she's back that she wanted live the moment with her only.

 

"You don't have to say that." Replied Seohyun as she smiled from ear to ear. She's overwhelmed at the moment and she wanted to savor it each second passing. Being with her arms has never been this safe. She's so lucky to have met a one of a kind people like Yoona.

"Is that going to take time?" Jessica is getting impatient. She wanted to see her friend from the detention office where she was being held for investigation but Yuri seems not too professional hacking their school cctv.

 

"It's hard when we aren't close to a cctv. We are outside." Yuri explains. "But we can't get closer also otherwise we'll get caught."

 

Jessica sighs. "I should've known. We already skip our remaining class." She crossed her arms near her chest and let out another loud sigh. She doesn't have choice either way but to wait. Unless her friend will appear.

 

"I'm sorry." Yuri apologizes as she tilts her head to see the blonde girl's face. She pouted sadly feeling bad for upsetting her.

 

"Just continue." Jessica said as she gestures. She took her notebook and pen from her bag and decided to grab the chance and study on her notes.

 

Yuri smiled a little and she returned to the laptop. She focusses on hacking on their school's cctv for the next 30 minutes until she needed to wait for the process to get into 100% but it's taking time that she checks the blonde sitting next to her.

 

Her lips curved into a sweet smile as she finds herself getting mesmerized by her beautiful side profile. It's making her heart flutter. And it's made her fall for her again. She's a human but she's like the most beautiful fairy she has ever seen.

 

If only she knows how much she likes her but she's afraid. She's afraid to confess and see her reaction about her. It would be chaos if she learns.

 

She's just contented watching her and getting to know her. Being friends are better either way.
