Intro 1 | Cold Heart

A low groan was heard inside dim light room, followed by a quick thud a loud groan coming from the owner of the room. The room was soon lightened and a girl wearing her loose shirt, hair is disheveled and was groaning again, was seen climbing back to her messy bed. She tiredly turned off the main lights again through a remote control. Her eyes are still so close, couldn't even open it ever since the night she had. It's too heavy to open, why would she'd be stupid and do it? However, it wasn't only because of that - her body is heavy - totally exhausted. Yet, she's used to it. As a DJ in a club, she normally sleep around 2 in the morning. And wakes up around 2 in the afternoon. The caramel aroma in her room seem to help her breath comfortably and get back to sleep. 

To have a comfortable sleep, she lied on her stomach, and put all her hair above so she can start rub the back of her neck smoothly, which slowly making her doze off.

Beep.

"Hi, This is Seohyun, I can't answer the call right now. Just leave me a message after the beep."

Beep.

"Heartbeat, what's up? My Apologies -- I left you so early in your show. My mother called and I couldn't say 'no' to her rules, Ugh. I seriously like your life than me. It's like, yeah~ I'm free from obligations. hehe. But anyway, let's have a coffee later when you wake up. I have some good news about your... ahem. hehe. Call me back if you have arrive safely."

She slowly opened her eyes upon hearing the voice from her friend. Though still heavy for her, she let her eyes open slowly but surely.

"Good news? I don't give a ." She simply cursed, and decided to close her eyes again. Ruffling her hair, she shifted her body, so she's now lying on her back. Her eyes once again opened, and sigh was heard from her. "Her wedding is later, how can that be a good news?" She let out a frustrating groan before she decided not to sleep anymore. She reached for the night lamps, turning it on and check on her phone. She just ignore the hundreds of messages from her 'concerned' friends and open a certain club music she created herself. But suddenly changing her mind, she opened a DJ Studio application of her phone instead and decided to create another mix of music. She took the headphone and plug it to her ears, then started mixing beats of music at the tip of her thumbs and point finger.

Normally, she would be always feel so great when creating new music, but as her heart's situation is so bad right now, she couldn't do it. It's as if, something was off. She must be really crazy now.

A couple of minutes later, she gives up. Her heart is just too heavy that she couldn't do it correctly. 

Lying back on the bed, she throw her phone in the corner and close her eyes, attempting to have her rest finally.

"Unnie, I like you."

"But Joohyun, you know I'm in love with someone else. And I'm getting married next month."

"I... I just thought I could confess before you could... finally tie the knot. Congrats Unnie."

"Joohyun!"

Exactly a month ago when she confessed to her - She can still remember how her world just crash when she rejected her and told her she's getting married. Though she knew it all along, it was so brave for her to confess. Well, she thought it would lessen her pain, but damn - it took her a week just to get rid of that night. It's like she had posses by someone, she couldn't believe she did it. How stupid she was.

But as now, standing by the big door, watching that girl she loved exchanging vows with another girl, she felt more stupid. Instead of going for a coffee with her friend, she's here... watching her from afar - full of joy with her partner to be. How cruel the world is for her.

Smiling, a bit bitter, she sighed and finally can say, "I have to move on. It's not like she's only the girl in the world. Congrats Unnie." and then, she turned and put her hood on her head. Of course, her headphone won't be rejected. She also put it on her ears and a blasting of club music immediately echoed her ears.

As if the world had also known her feelings, it suddenly rains -- just when she stepped out the church. Heck, she felt good about it. She let the cold rain pour so hard, while she keep her legs moving farther and farther - away from that place.
